Hey, I said we should give up on lynching you for now, so kind of half-and-half . Stink says to continue killing Hellscythe too. Not sure why he wants to kill me all of a sudden though, never mentioned anything like this to me in our PM... Maybe it's because I forgot to do a double-Tineye message with him?

 

You know what? STINK. Why do you want me lynched? First time you've mentioned this at all, as far as I can tell, so I'd rather like some reasons.

 

I agree our Coinshot(s) appear to be inactive, which is a real pain. We must have one, it'd be too cruel to give the Eliminators a Lurcher and nothing to defend against .

Thinking I'm going to put a vote on Venture (or Anamaximder) as well. Over in MR10, you mentioned that the AG was consuming a lot of your time. But you've not posted a lot in thread. PMs? Or maybe you're in a doc. That often consumes a fair bit of time.

K guys, I'm here. Going to do another read through of the entire game. Remember that this is the first time I've ever pinch-hitted, and not experiencing this stuff in real time is a bit unusual, so bear with me.

Well first off my gut said either Kas or Wyrm, and because I was having such a lovely PM with Kas, I went for Wyrm. Now that he is dead (he shall be missed) it only leaves Wyrm. Also Mailliw, if I think about it.

I still suspect that Wyrm is evil, and if he's not then Stink probably is.

However, I'm still of the opinion that we don't lynch either of our Tineyes for a good long while still. Good or bad, they're still beneficial to us, so if the Eliminators want to cut off our communications let's make them use up their night-kills to do it, along with playing I Know You Know with our Lurchers.

This is no different from lynching just because someone has a Role. Ignoring that bit of 'evidence', the only actual reason you have is apparently a wild stab in the dark that it was either me or Kas (and then adding Mailliw, but ignoring Hreo and Alvron, as well as the less-old players who are still very experienced, such as Hael, Jain, Luckat and Orlok). I'd hope you have a better reason than your gut for this, we shouldn't need to go off gut feelings at this stage in the game - we have 3 Days and 4 Nights of interactions and occurrences that we can use now instead. If you have any actual reasoning, I'd be happy to hear it.

 

Besides, what about our lovely PM? We were going to troll so many people together

I'll say this: Apparently there are 2 Seekers making groups and it seems they haven't overlapped yet.

Also, if we must lynch someone, we can go off Kas's wishes and kill the last claimed Smoker if you guys want.

After the fire had burned down low enough that many could abandon their buckets and go back to talking or worrying or planning or whatever they were doing.

After the fire had burnt down to coals, and no one was left but her, though someone had draped a cloak over her before they left. She'd forgotten her own in the rush to find Kassien.

After the fire– and the house– was nothing but ashes, ashes and char, only giving off a residual heat from the stones beneath, if that.

After she had walked into the house, doing her duty, checking for any bits of herbs or poisons remaining, any faint smell of danger, though she knew there was nothing. The fire had been too intense.

After she had found the charred lumps that might once have been bones, maybe, and stepped over them, and walked on. Almost, then– but no. Not yet.

After she walked into the space that had once been her room, a story up, where her bed had been, against the corner of the building. There was still a bit of corner left, a place to rest her back.

After.

She cried quietly, weeping into the cloak that did not smell like herbs and poultices, not like antiseptic or fresh pine, not like Kassien.

She wept herself to sleep, on the now cold stones, as the mists came to blanket her and the house that was no longer a house, the home that was no longer a home.

Her home.

El didn't think about it, but the house hadn't really been her home. It wasn't the loss of the house she was missing, the bed, the herbs all so carefully stocked away.

No, they weren't her home, she would have known if she could have thought, if she weren't already asleep, curled up like an infant, face still wet with tears.

Kassien had been her home.

Why would they need your naming skills if they are already named?  Also I take it that means you're in the group that Adavantos wasn't in.  Care to tell us what you named that group.

I feel as though if STINK had been Seeked, he should probably have spoken up about it by now to avoid situations like recently where he may have been lynched. With regards to Hellscythe being lynched, we've tried that before and it didn't really work, so I'd kind of like to at least make sure he gets lynched this time, if we end up going that way. Would really prefer closure on that subject than re-treading the same old ground for a fourth day.

 

Hreo, a question. Why are you so set on the idea that a Tineye must be evil? It seems a little odd for you to think so, considering that's a fairly large logical leap to make, and it just seems like a good excuse to start lynching Tineyes without appearing too Eliminator.

Mailliw and Alvron, probably the main issue holding either of you back from being a liason/voice for the Seekers is that the Seekers will be less likely to Seek those who ask to be Scanned. That doesn't necessarily mean you are good, just that the Seekers' gut reaction will be something like, “This person is asking to be Scanned, so they have a lower probability of being good."

What else? Ah yes. Wyrm is truly Amazing. In fact, his art (deny that his work is art; I'll duel you) is truly the sublimest of sublimes. Nutella on toast, even, cannot compare to the glorious majesty of Wyrm's Amazingness. Imagine a magnificent display of excitement, wonder, and adventu--but wait! You don't have to imagine, for you can experience the Amazing Wyrm! The pinnacle, the highest, the apex of skill!! The very ethos of magic is come to life in THE AMAZING WYRM!!!

I'm going to place a vote on Venture Mistborn/Animax as well. This is fairly typical for me, as his levels of activity on other parts of the forum and one-liner posts never sit well with me. Other than that, I'm still reading through the game and basically analyzing and burnishing my bells.
