You can do whatever you want. I'm just meme-i-fying the books I'm reading right now; it's not like I've called dibs or anything.

It was actually pretty easy, I just had to read through the first two chapters, making noted when I got to something meme-worthy (Alcatraz has a lot of that stuff). Though I'm obviously not as good as Twilyght.

In accordance with the prophecy, here is the next installment of Memes of Radiance. 

 

 

Shallan has some difficulty convincing Inadara that her interpretation of ancient texts is correct. 

 

 

And she also has to endure Pattern and Renarin saying the same creepy things. 

 

 

Adolin leads his men through the tower, and a certain someone crashes the party. 

 

 

Dalinar speaks with the Stormfather, who once again refuses to be helpful. 

 

 

And Kaladin's attempt at protecting the king isn't going well. 

 

 

Shallan finds the Oathgate, and it's even more beautiful than she imagined. 

 

 

Renarin continues his warnings. 

 

 

Adolin's duel with Eshonai is difficult, but he manages to tip the scales in his favor. 

 

 

Having won the duel, Adolin turns and sees a messenger. Or so he thinks. 

 

 

Meanwhile, Kaladin is getting his butt kicked….until he's visited by the last person he expected to see. 

 

 

Kaladin speaks the oaths. Music to Syl's ears. 

 

 

Although Kaladin's fight is going well, another fight is not. 

 

 

It forces Dalinar to accept a difficult truth. 

 

 

Szeth kills Roion, and appears to kill Dalinar as well. But then….

 

 

 

With Kaladin fighting Szeth, Dalinar rides off to give orders to the rest of the army. Someone else already has it covered.

How I personally feel about that revalation from Dalinar.

To be fair, he was already past his prime and wouldn't have the time to put on a plate by the time Szeth reached Gavilar. And if he was Plateless he wouldn't have much chance when Szeth surprised him by walking on the ceiling.

I just typed "no sense" into the Imgflip search bar. Most of the really weird pictures I find are done by typing in everything that comes to mind after reading a passage until I get something I like.

Kelsier and Tindwyl.

When we last left Roshar….

 

 

Things were going well for the Alethi….and not-so-well. 

 

 

And Renarin was seeing things.

 

 

Although the red murderstorm was summoned by the Parshendi, the Stormfather didn't take it well. At all. 

 

 

Kaladin, however, has an advantage in his duel with Szeth. 

 

 

Shallan, meanwhile, is running frantically, preparing the fabrial and spilling secrets. 

 

 

 

 

And Szeth is not handling the truth very well. 

 

 

Shallan, knowing what the fabrial needs, realizes the deepest truth of all. 

 

 

But there is a Shardblade that isn't wrong—and Shallan knows what she must do. 

 

 

It happens just as Kaladin realizes Szeth's plan—get to the people he protects. 

 

 

They have all vanished, because as Shallan discovered….

 

 

Kaladin and Szeth continue to fight, the latter handling new information poorly. 

 

 

Finally….

 

 

And Kaladin just rolls with it. 

 

 

As he leaves the battlefield, Kaladin discusses his new discoveries with Syl.

I read the version where he just gives up and Kaladin lets him go. I've heard about the original, and I wish I could've read it.

Part 1 of Memelantris:

We begin with the tragic prince Raoden being cursed.

Raoden is still incredulous at this occurrence

Encountering some vengeful scavengers, Raoden feels doomed.

Raoden then discovers the worst part about being an Elantrian.

Raoden feels sorry about the boy who got his head smashed in, and Galladon only makes it worse.

Raoden then realizes something very important.

Galladon then replies very eloquently.

I think that's all I'll do for now. That basically covers chapter 1. Any advice? Should I keep doing one chapter at a time or only one meme per chapter? Are the memes good? Should I have less memes of cats? 

 

I don't know, I'm completely new to this.
