Although WoK has been out for some time, I'm going to put all climax-related memes and commentary in spoilers. 

 

When we last left our heroes….

 

 

Things were not looking up for Dalinar Kholin. 

 

 

And to be honest, I was not pleased with how it appeared things would turn out. 

 

 

But then Syl remembered her secret. 

 

 

And Kaladin reacted the way I knew he would. 

 

 

But then the tide turns, bringing back an awful memory. 

 

Tien. 

 

(My reaction was the same as Kaladin's, by the way.)

 

But Kaladin can't remain on the sidelines as innocent people die. He stands, and he finds hidden strength he never knew he had—and also realizes half of the Parshendi army is just carrying around Stormlight in their beards, like ya do.
