Silus - Shard of Flame he/him Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 My cousin and his friend got me playing League of Legends, and I suck, but it's still fun.
SOM1else he/him Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 I bought "EndWar" used last night and it is pretty fun. basically its an RTS but you control your armies using voice commands.
ZeldaDad he/him Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Oh, League of Legends is fun. Time consuming, but fun.
FeatherWriter she/her Posted June 17, 2011 Posted June 17, 2011 Gah! Recently found out about Team Fortress 2 (I have the Orange Box, but all I ever played was Portal) and now I really want to play it, but I'm too cheap to buy Xbox live! Grr...
Zayde he/him Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 (edited) Currently in the middle of playing Little Big Planet 2 and Dragon Age: Origins and replaying Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. And I've got a good five or six games after that I need to finish... You're better off getting TF2 on the PC through Steam. No online fees is a beautiful thing. Edited June 18, 2011 by Zayde
leinton Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 Just started replaying Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap. 2
Link Von Kelsier Harvey he/him Posted June 19, 2011 Author Posted June 19, 2011 Playing Wii Goldeneye 007 on the easiest difficulty setting and dying repeatedly. I'm not much of an FPS guy.
SOM1else he/him Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 I got Portal for my dad for Fathers Day so once he finishes it I'm going to start playing it. 1
Silus - Shard of Flame he/him Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 I got Portal for my dad for Fathers Day so once he finishes it I'm going to start playing it. So no ulterior motives there at all.
SOM1else he/him Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 So no ulterior motives there at all. well he said he wanted it and I had already planed on buying it for myself so things just fell together perfectly.
ZeldaDad he/him Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 Isn't Portal free on Steam? Free trial titled "First Slice", then $9.99 for the whole game (the first one)and $49.99 for Portal 2.
Eerongal he/him Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 Isn't Portal free on Steam? it was free for like 2 weeks after the launch of steam titles on the mac, then it went back to costing some dough
Zayde he/him Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 Also, Team Fortress 2 is free on Steam this week to celebrate the new updates they're doing. I dunno if you'll have to pay to keep playing though after the week is over.
FeatherWriter she/her Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 ORLY?? *goes to install Steam and TF2* kthxbai! 1
Eerongal he/him Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 Also, Team Fortress 2 is free on Steam this week to celebrate the new updates they're doing. I dunno if you'll have to pay to keep playing though after the week is over. It's probably like their free weekends they have every so often, where anyone can play for a while, but at the end you have to pay for it. I don't think TF2 has ever been given away in its entirety for free, just short periods where people can play it for free. Doesn't mean they won't do it, though. Edit: turns out i was wrong. Its free to play, forever. Evidence in their new video
Zayde he/him Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 Yea, that broke my mind for a little while. At first I wasn't sure I was interpreting that right. But it is indeed true. TF2 is now free to play.
Silus - Shard of Flame he/him Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 I played Crackdown until four in the morning the other night.

TF2 is now free to play. Yeah, and its a pretty smart move on their part, if you ask me, since the addition of the mann co store. IMHO tf2 is probably one of the best online team based fps games ever, and that's mainly because of the continued support for the game (all the free updates and new content) Also, me and my buddy have been playing rift for about 2 weeks now, anyone else play it? Its a pretty hardcore wow (pre cata) clone with a few unique quirks
FeatherWriter she/her Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 So, has anyone on here been plaing TF2? I just started (I suck btw) and now I'm looking for friends who also play. My Steam name is Featherwriter of course.

My Steam name is Featherwriter of course. Ive had TF2 since it came out, though i dont play nearly as much as i used to. A buddy of mine practically plays it 24/7, he has like 4,000 hours logged into it, and thats just since they started trackling it (like march of 2009 or so) and he's reset his stats several times. Anywho, yeah, my steam name is Eerongal Edit: we should totally make a 17S steam group
leinton Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 My Steam name is Leinton, go figure. I support the 17th Shard group idea.
Zayde he/him Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 I haven't really played TF2 recently but that's more because I don't really have anyone to play with that I know. I'll support this 17th shard group. My Steam account is zayde_sithon
FeatherWriter she/her Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 Well, I don't know how to friend people and I certainly don't know how to make groups or servers or whatnot. And I suck. But I support the idea if someone tells me how! <<--- Noob
Zayde he/him Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 If you open up the main Steam window, and click Community, then Groups, it's pretty self explanatory if you can find the links. I went ahead and created the group: http://steamcommunit...roups/17thshard
