Silus - Shard of Flame he/him Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 Buy the Orange Box, it's twenty bucks for Portal, Half Life 2, Episode 1 and 2, and Team Fortress 2, which are all pretty dang awesome. Probably the best bargain in all of video games.

But the events of Portal 2 mean a lot more if you played through the first one, I think. I just got the Lunacy achievement in Portal 2. That just happened!

Zayde he/him Posted May 2, 2011 Posted May 2, 2011 I'm more interested in Paper Mario than another remake of a game I already own twice. (I've got the original N64 version and the Gamecube Master Quest version.) I'll eventually get a 3DS but it'll probably wait until Christmas or a price drop.

FeatherWriter she/her Posted May 7, 2011 Posted May 7, 2011 Playing Final Fantasy Tactics Advance on my phone via a GBA emulator. In French of course because I can and I'm a language nerd. I'd forgotten how good this game is! It's been a while since I played it. I've also of Pokemon: Version Emeraude (Emerald obviously, but again in French). I'd played LeafGreen and FireRed, so I picked a diferent continent so I could learn new Pokemon, but apparently all the names are different in a different language! Go figure. So I named my "Goubou" "Mudkip" so I could remember (cuz I knew that one) but now it's evolved and it's still named Mudkip, so that's wierd. 1

It's massively multi-player online and there is a role-play server and a non-role-play server, all 100% free. Anyone ever played it before?

Zayde he/him Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 The fighting was just a little broken in Sands of Time. I remember it frustrated me to the point of hurling controllers around a couple times. I just finished Uncharted 2. I enjoyed it for the most part. But it was kind of frustrating when I'd be standing in the wrong place and a scripted explosion would instantly kill me. Like when a helicopter blew the side of the building out without warning and insta-killed me. When I become emperor of the universe, there will be a special hell for game developers that think it's a good idea to have full health instant kills that occur without warning. 1
leinton Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 Just got Halo: Reach. Been playing that a lot. I also recently got my hands on Sam and Max seasons 1 and 2 (beat season 3 as it came out). Really funny games.

Started Baten Kaitos: Origins again and just yesterday finally caught up to where I was when my old Memory Card committed suicide. (Which was in Diadem.)
