Kestrel she/her Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Its labor day and we still had rehearsal
Kobold King he/him Posted September 8, 2015 Author Posted September 8, 2015 Don't you wish real-world economics could be as interesting as it is in Dwarf Fortress? 5
Mistrunner Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Don't you wish real-world economics could be as interesting as it is in Dwarf Fortress? Would make classes more interesting, to say the least.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Don't you wish real-world economics could be as interesting as it is in Dwarf Fortress? Speaking of economies…. 8
Delightful Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Apparently tripping and bruising your arm on a rock outside, no matter how much it hurts, is not grounds for having your injured limb replaced with a cybernetic ion cannon. Bummer. Who did you check this with? 1
Darkness Ascendant he/him Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 SPREAD IT LIKE PEANUT BUTTER JELLY. 1
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Finished the Skype interview with Barnesville a few minutes ago. The position doesn't sound like something I want, but I'm grateful for the practice. Now I know what questions to prepare for with Anchorage. 6

+Slowswift Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 (edited) I can't be the only one who finds the time signatures of random songs I'm listening to and then "conducts" them... Can I? Edited September 8, 2015 by Slowswift 4
Kestrel she/her Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 I can't be the only one who finds the time signatures of random songs I'm listening to and then "conducting" them... Can I?I feel you. 1
Kaymyth she/her Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 I can't be the only one who finds the time signatures of random songs I'm listening to and then "conducts" them... Can I? ....nope. 1
Kestrel she/her Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 It doesn't help that my director actually taught me how to conduct Mistake. 1
Mistrunner Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 I can't be the only one who finds the time signatures of random songs I'm listening to and then "conducts" them... Can I? ME ME ME ME ME yep, I do it too. And while raising my hand and waiting for a teacher to notice me (apparently I'm invisible- I have a superpower!) I start randomly conducting and alternating between time signatures. It's better than just having your hand hang there like a dead fish, right? 2
Allomancy she/her Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 I am 45 pages into Kobold's 499 page reputation. Let's do this. He has LOADS of pages of reputation. Whenever I feel like I'm doing good on upvotes, all I need to do to humble myself is look at Kobold's upvotes. I then feel meaningless. 1
Mashadar Mistborn he/him Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 Don't think about Weeping Angels when you are taking your dog for a walk at night. Just don't. 4
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 Don't think about Weeping Angels when you are taking your dog for a walk at night. Just don't. Though if your dogs have a habit of barking at nothing, they'll usually stop if you praise them for scaring away those nasty Silences. 3
Mashadar Mistborn he/him Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 He does have a habit of barking at stuff I never see. Come to think of it, both of my dogs do.... My house must be infested with The Silence. 3
The Honor Spren she/her Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 Don't think about Weeping Angels when you are taking your dog for a walk at night. Just don't.Speaking of that, I just watched "Blink". It was pretty cool, but I will probably regret my decision when it's late at night, and I'm laying in my bed wide awake, not daring to blink. . . 5
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 He does have a habit of barking at stuff I never see. Come to think of it, both of my dogs do.... My house must be infested with The Silence. So do mine, and when I thank them for scaring away the Silence, they stop. So either I've found a good way to get dogs to stop barking, or dogs are the best guard against the Silence and I'm just paying them their due. 1
Mashadar Mistborn he/him Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 I think my dog would probably just look at me in a confused manner, cock his head little, wag his tail and bark at me if I thanked him for scaring away The Silence.
Mistrunner Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 Don't think about Weeping Angels when you are taking your dog for a walk at night. Just don't. Or at scout camp, while walking across the bridge and on the narrow path back to your campsite very late at night without a flashlight. 1
Allomancy she/her Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 Or ever. I had nightmares for weeks, and I kept checking behind me, after watching blink. 1

You should see my math notes. Though they are much less professionally drawn.
