aneonfoxtribute Posted November 11, 2020 Posted November 11, 2020 Okay, so looking at a list of all the stories (names only), the only one after Bombshells that isn't after Changes is Zoo Day?
Dunkum he/him Posted November 11, 2020 Posted November 11, 2020 meant to say "zoo day" instewad of "skin game", so that one is after Changes as well
Briar King Posted November 12, 2020 Posted November 12, 2020 Can’t help you with that. Idk which came 1st Brief Cases or Side Jobs or what stories are even in them.
Condensation she/her Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Dawnshard, as soon as Vapor finishes with it.
Orlion Blight he/him Posted November 15, 2020 Posted November 15, 2020 "To exist across all times is to be oblivious to the Eschaton, the limit of those times, and Mog-Pharau is that limit. The Eschaton." Me: *le gasp!* I know what an Eschaton is! I get that reference! The point? Reading widely, including outside your preferences, makes for a more fulfilling reading experience later on. I would not get as much joy from this sentence from a R Scott Bakker book if I hadn't read some books I thought (and still think) were garbage at the time! 1
Dunkum he/him Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 Fire on the Mountain by Terry Bisson - an alternate history about a world where John Brown's raid on Harper's Ferry had succeeded. was recommended to me by a firend, and its pretty interesting so far - though I'm currently more invested in the "historical" 1859 accounts of the alternate civil war era than I am in the "present day" 1959 storyline.
Briar King Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 Getting close to ending Gaunt 3. Will go straight to Gaunt 4 afterwards.
Stampede he/him Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 Picking my way through the Rhythm of War chapters, going through a plethora of non-fiction, and I'm on Song of the Saurials (third book of Forgotten Realms: Finder's Stone trilogy) as part of my journey to read every FR novel.
aneonfoxtribute Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 I finished everything in Brief Cases up to the ones that take place after Changes.
Briar King Posted November 17, 2020 Posted November 17, 2020 Finished Gaunt’s Ghost 3 yesterday. Finished Morning Star just now. If SLA 4 wasn’t so close I’d go into the next of series but I’m definitely starting Gaunt 4 no doubt about it.
officiallyaninja he/him Posted November 17, 2020 Posted November 17, 2020 (edited) idk if this counts as reading but I'm reading a screenshot lets play of a visual novel(Ever 17). here is the lets play if you're interested. Edited November 17, 2020 by officiallyaninja

(also I haven't finished ever17 so no spoilers thanks) Its one of the best visual novels I've ever read. Leaps and bounds ahead of E17. I didnt hate E17 but I had really big, really glaring issues with it that weren't there in R11 at all. As for playing it, I have links to a fan translation since it's not officially released. Though it was a pain to do even then so in the end I had to ask some people on a Discord and they got me a pre-patched version

Moreso than audio books, and if THAT'S counted as reading, this is too!

Condensation she/her Posted November 17, 2020 Posted November 17, 2020 My friend @KyL told me I should read Yu-Gi-Oh, so he lent me one of them. It was cool!
aneonfoxtribute Posted November 17, 2020 Posted November 17, 2020 So uh idk of you know about this book, its pretty niche, but I got it today and I'm planning on reading it. For some weird reason they released a whole part of the book online for free, thats weird, but I'm gonna be reading from after that point. Also the books flap is a map so thats neat. 2
Gak he/him Posted November 17, 2020 Posted November 17, 2020 i am so jealous right now, i have been waiting years for those.
Briar King Posted November 17, 2020 Posted November 17, 2020 I’m ditching Outlander 5 for now till I’m more in the mood. Was going to hold off on starting Iron Gold but I can’t get my hands on RoW till I go back to TX it looks like so I’m gonna go ahead with it after all. So Gaunt 4, Iron Gold and Blood and Bone for current reads.
Ammanas Posted November 18, 2020 Posted November 18, 2020 (edited) 2 hours ago, Briar King said: Iron Gold Some people are not as impressed with Browns sequel trilogy but in my opinion it’s better than the original. One of favorite character is the Minotaur of Mars who you will meet in Iron Gold. He has limited screen time but steals the scene whenever he appears. Can’t wait for you to read Dark Age. That book is just insane...imagine Golden Son on steroids. edit: Havnt you been reading Blood and Bone for about 15 months? Seriously bk you need to switch to the audiobook if it’s given you this many problems. Banks is a fantastic narrator and you’ll be done in a week. Edited November 18, 2020 by Ammanas
