Yes, @Slowswift! I put the album (as well as all the others) on repeat for about 8 hours today. I love every one of them, but Easy Come Easy Go, Giants, Dull Knives, Lonely, No Time For Toxic People, all amazing.

Indeed! :D I need to let it soak a bit more before I decide on favorites, but I really like Monday, Wrecked, and Follow You in addition to those. Cutthroat...not a fan, really. Too heavy for my tastes. (Come to think of it, I think all of their albums have had one like that.)

While I'm here I'll mention another artist: Joe Hisaishi! At this point I think he's one of my all-time favorite film composers. His album Encore has been keeping me company lately, with gems like Summer and Ashitaka and San. It's hard to explain; his music just has this way of getting inside your heart and tugging all the right strings and I absolutely love it.

First broadcast over the radio in 1977, this song would have reached the potentially habitable exoplanet TRAPPIST-1g five years ago. If there wasn't life on that chunk of rock before, bet there is now.

Reminiscing about a first favorite soundtrack of mine, and probably one of the main reasons I like racing games.

So...this is a thing.

A very good thing. :D

I'm digging this synth-pop style Coldplay's been going with lately. Can't wait for the rest of the album!

Listening to Amy Winehouse! And uh... wow, some of those songs would really not be well-received today, and for good reason, imo *side-eyes stronger than me & f-me pumps * (and yes, I get that the point was being frank but still). Anyway, rehab, back to black, you know I'm no good  are still just as good as ever

Decided to give Bring me the Horizon a real try beyond just can you feel my heart and they're no Linkin Park replacement, how dare! But they're still pretty good

By Maroon 5? :)

I've been listening to Christmas songs, I admit it. I've been listening to them all year. My favourites are the quintessential department store Christmas song (All I Want for Christmas is You) and ANYTHING by Mannheim Steamroller. SO GOOD. I especially love to listen to them with headphones because the way they are recorded, you hear different sounds through each side. There's one part in Little Drummer Boy that... *chef's kiss* so good. anyway...

If you'll permit me to be a weeb for a moment.

BUMP OF CHICKEN. They're really good, actually! I've been listening to their album Yggdrasill on repeat. (I particularly like "Only Lonely Glory" and "Rem".)

Also, the music for The Rising of the Shield Hero is phenomenal! The opening and ending themes are especially good. (O1, O2, E1, E2) Something they do, and that seems to be fairly common in anime, is to have the opening and endings contrast each other: in this case, the openings are powerful and energetic and set the stage for the epic fight-for-your-lives tone of the show. But the ending themes are gentle. There are sweet moments in the show, and in life, in between all of the suck, and the ending themes exemplify that. (Also, the accompanying visuals are top-notch.)

Listening to Sammy Keyes and the Hotel Thief, by Wendelin van Draanen. I've read the entire series three times, the first was also on audio.

Edit Nov. 22: Taylor Swift, Weird Al, and Queen.

For all you hopeless romantics out there, who hasn't dreamed of being seranaded by a man suspended from a helicopter while you're water skiing, or vice versa:

You'll have to click the link, but the small effort required is more than worth it.

You only had to wait one more day!

This song has been stuck in my head the past few days, so now it gets to be your problem too.

*smirks* I can't see the video.

The Crown Tower by Michael J. Sullivan. I've read it before, but this is my first time with the audiobook. I think the narrator does a good job!

Yo, I love those books! I don't see people talking about them all that much. Glad to see other people appreciate them, too.

I haven't listened to them, myself, aside from a short story set in the series. Don't remember much plot-wise, but I know I did like the narrator.

I've been watching a lot of old Hololive stream archives and this one plays during Amelia Watson's intro. I immediately fell in love with it.
