"Darkseid always hated music."

Superman, standing at the centre of a multiversal collapse, after singing a note in a frequency that shattered the soul of the God of Evil.

Two of my favorites are from Mistborn:

Kelsier: I am the one thing you've never been able to kill...I am hope.

Vin and Elend's last lines are pretty great too.

I'm gonna go with the pretty obvious one.

"You sent him to the sky to die, assassin," Kaladin said, Stormlight puffing from his lips, "but the sky and the winds are mine. I claim them as I now claim your life."

"We won, Ender. That's all that matters."

"No! How we win matters."

Every time I see this line (or hear it from the movie), I can only think 'Journey before destination'.

"A dark time comes.

My time.

If it offends you.

Stop me."

“When in doubt, we follow our hearts. Words can be false, images and sounds can be manipulated. But this...' He tapped his chest, over his heart. 'This is always true.”

The best catchphrase ever.

Maybe that needs an explanation. You see Kenshiro up there is a master of the ancient martial art Hokuto Shinken. He presses an opponents preassure points and after a certain amount of time they explode from the inside. It is about as glorious and gory as it sounds like.

"Ba Sing Se... The Order of the White Lotus is here."
"Here, to set you free."
"Only once every hundred years can a firebender experience this kind of power."

From 'The Gentlemen Bastards' These are all by Locke Lamora.

"Nice bird, cremhole."

"I don't expect life to make sense, but it would certainly be pleasant if it would stop kicking us in the balls."

[after some serious event] "I called him an cremhole too. He didn't like that."

The following are from 'Six of Crows' by Leigh Bardugo. The novel is full of witty quotes.

When someone says to Kaz,"You can't spend money in afterlife." Kaz's reply," I'll acquire expensive habits in afterlife."

And lastly (again by Kaz) "When everyone thinks you are a monster, you needn't waste time doing every monstrous thing."

Is no one going to mention "THIS IS SPARTA!!!" ?

Disclaimer: I have not seen 300.

(Only because this is necessary: "Asha'man, KILL!")

And a real-life one: "History will be kind to me, for I intend to write it" - Winston Churchill

More of a multiliner, but anyway:

“How do you fight someone smarter than yourself? The answer is simple. You make her think that you are sitting down across the table from her, ready to play her game. Then you punch her in the face as hard as you can.” - Rand al'Thor

"Yes but in the morning I will be sober and you will still be ugly".

Speaking of... "My religion includes the holy custom of drinking alcohol and smoking cigars before, after, and during every meal, as well as all the points in between."

“But you can't kill me, Lord Tyrant. I represent that one thing you've never been able to kill, no matter how hard you try. I am hope.”

Perhaps a little too obvious on this forum, but still one of my favorites.

I have, very requently, cited this as my favorite line in fantasy ever

"I am no man!"

-Eowyn, LotR, five minutes before laying the smackdown against the Witch-King of Angmar.

So much yes.

"You mustn't be afraid to dream a little bigger, darling."

But, strangers, I am Icarium.
And I bring far worse.”
