When your immediate reaction to this is to think "Aha! So that's how Odium is defeated! It is going to be Nightblood!"

Mistborn (Hero of Ages) Spoilers

Maybe, since we know Rayse is scared of Sazed, Harmony wielding Nightblood?

When you say "Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. Would you like to destroy some evil today?" and don't feel at all guilty for butchering improving such a great line.

...when you get very tired and suddenly realize in a panic that Odium is trying to kill Shards and you belong to one of them...

When you're watching Guardians of the Galaxy, and your sister Says "Weren't those blue guys in Mistborn?" Even though she's never read the books.

There are Koloss ?? :)

You're reading Beowulf in English class, the teacher is talking about all the Christian references having been added after the original writing, and you're thinking Storming Hierocracy.

When your first thought at reading that is "(Chuckle) Upvote for you." and your second thought is "Hang on, Brandon Sanderson is an English teacher; I wonder if that was the inspiration for the Derethi priesthood's revisions to Wyrn the King? After all, both are epic poems about 3000 lines long that were revised to make it seem as if the heroes of the past followed the current religion." Then you immediately check the annotations for Elantris (Chapter 43, specifically) on his website and are trilled to find out that you were right.

Also, when you instantly remember the length of a poem briefly mentioned in chapter 43 of Elantris and exactly what Sarene said about it, but have to use Google to find the length and other specifics of Beowulf

When you're clearing out your family's very old computer games (I have found some that run on Windows 95/98) and you read "Myst: Uru" as "Urithiru" and get irrationally excited.

When you hear some stranger say "way to think" and hear "Way of Kings."

That happened at work. Imagine my disappointment when I found out the truth.

Edit: Imagine my embarrassment.

When u keep trying to say the name of one of Brandon's books and keep saying the name of another (ie: trying to say "Well of Ascension" keep saying "Way of Kings").

Also when you create your own alliance on a war game and name it Bridge4

When u feel like celebrating when you realize you joined 17th Shard exactly a month ago

Dead week and final's week are both characterized by constant drizzling and you internally refer to both collectively as "The Weeping" (a name I don't entirely see as appropriate, but many of my fellow students do).

When you are more excited to get on the 17th Shard forum than eating ice cream. I need Sanderfriends bad, guys.

What if I told you... that you could eat ice cream while browsing the 17th Shard?

What if I told you... that you could eat ice cream while browsing the 17th Shard?

If i could do that for the rest of my life (without getting fat or ever having to finish school/get a job/pay bills) it would be the best life ever!

Red: It helps if you mention what you're spoiling, so people know whether or not to open it. So, for example, you could have said
