Oathbringer already has the following star ratings: 1- 24 2- 9 3. 29 4. 154 5. 622 That's a lot of ratings for a book so tightly under wraps. 2
Sami she/her Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 (edited) Nearly all the bad ratings go something like this: "I've heard a lot of good things about this author and so decided to try.......... this book turned out to be so slow I didn't get what was going on and stopped a quarter through the book.. ect" you guys need some perseverance!!!! Also they usually end by going "I apologize if I've offended those Sanderfans out there but we are all entitled to our own opinions." Yes we are, but still grrrrrrrrrrrrr Edited August 4, 2017 by Sami 1

Ammanas Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 It seems like today is the day for jam references on this thread so I'll add my own: When someone offers you strawberry jam and you respond, "Never heard of it." -Wok ch 48 3

Nice! Glad I could help with the ideas. Turned out pretty cool looking too. I apologize for the double post. Replying to too many alerts tonight. Edited August 4, 2017 by AngelEy3 1

Also, WHO ON ROSHAR WOULD GIVE A SANDERSON BOOK LESS THAN FOUR STARS!!! I would give them all (that I have read so far, except white sand and SA) four and a half stars. I'd give WS four, and SA five. Maybe fave for the MB books too... Or four and nine tenths.

But I read part of the first review, and it went on FOREVER, and it spoiled a HUGE part of the Eye of the World! (Which I am currently reading). Really bad review. And it took the person six MONTHS to read WoK. I understand taking time to read it, but that's just crazy. (I read it in 3 weeks). So, yah? I dunno. Also, you know you like books TOO much when your brother throws your REALLY NICE, BARNS AND NOBEL LIMITED EDITION FROM 2016 OF THE EYE OF THE WORLD AND THROWS IT ALMOST TO THE CEILING, DOESN'T CATCH IT, AND IT FALLS ON A HARDWOOD FLOOR, THEN RUNS OFF AND YOU CHASE HIM AROUND THE HOUSE, FINALLY CORNERING HIM RIGHT AS YOU MOM WALKS IT. Sorry. Got a bit carried away with the caps. But the book is pretty much OK. Something weird happened to the spine that I don't know how to explain. It's really bugging me. But it's still readable, so that's OK. Also, I need some advice. I'm trying to decide if I should be Vin or Lift for Halloween, or both. (I have a mistcloak and something I could use as Wyndle. I also have my ears pierced). I mean, both wouldn't be hard, 'cause they both pretty much wear the same thing. Sorry for the hodgepodge. Back on topic. You know you are a Sanderfan when these are the reasons you want to got to BYU: You and you best friend could be room mates Brandon Sanderson teaches there (I want to be an author, so being in Sanderson's class would be amazing). You would be one of many Sanderfan, instead of one of four, which is my current situation in my school. You would be so much closer to where lot's of signings are It's a really nice/good school 3

Lol maybe Sadeas? For revenge on Brandon killing him off..... Nobody in their right mind on earth would though. 2

Calderis he/him Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 Just now, Tesh said: How so? People don't have to like Brandon. I'm guilty of this too. Taliax none (name only) Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 @Tesh I would probably go for Vin as she would be more easily recognizable, but Lift is super cool too (: Edgedancer spoiler: Spoiler And if you go as Lift you could always carry around a random "Shardfork" I'm going as Vin for Halloween and I'm at BYU, I agree it's really nice that there are so many fans there, and a lot of signings/releases happen right on campus. 1
