Lunamor she/her Posted July 29, 2019 Posted July 29, 2019 YKYASW you accidentally refer to henchmen in a sci-fi show as “lesser cremlings” (No clue where that one came from). 4

I always feel like Wayne when looking at them suspicious that the rich people are randomly assigning numbers to the clothing. Yes, that is exactly how I feel, except they also randomly assign “Small/medium/large” almost independently of the numbers.

I know! And this does not account for most of us as humans don't generally fit in the right proportions so either you have the right size and your sleeves are loose or too tight...

And there is some kind of undefinable distinction between girl’s and boy’s t-shirts, and some companies start over at small after XL, even though it’s still a child size, but it is pretty much the same as an adult small, except for some kind of tiny difference even smaller than the difference between boy’s and girl’s.
+Ark1002 Posted July 30, 2019 Posted July 30, 2019 YKYASW you throw a coin at the substitute teacher, then tell the principal "we Mistborn need not make sense" And yes, this happened. 8
Ethan_sedai he/him Posted July 30, 2019 Posted July 30, 2019 After the conversation about shirt sizes, I’m not sure if sorting shirts or reading Alethi Glyphs is more difficult. 1
Bookish Ocelot she/her Posted July 30, 2019 Posted July 30, 2019 (edited) Shirts. Alethi glyphs tend to show some of the phonemes they are made up of. Shirt sizes, I am convinced, are chosen by drunk monkeys throwing darts after a night in town. Edited July 30, 2019 by BookishOcelot popular vote 2

Ookla the Foreclosed Posted August 1, 2019 Posted August 1, 2019 When given the letters L-E-M-O-N-Y (in Wordscapes) the only words you can think of are Yolen and Yomen. (even after reading ASOUE) 4

+Ed Venture Posted August 1, 2019 Posted August 1, 2019 YKYASW someone says "I think" in the middle of a sentence and you immediately think of Sazed. 3
mariapapadia she/her Posted August 1, 2019 Posted August 1, 2019 YKYASW when you think every person in the metro reading something Sanderson related is your soulmate. As Ed Sheeran would say "The club isn't the best place to find a lover" so the metro is where I'll go. A couple of months ago I was on my way to work and the guy next to me was reading WoR, while I was (finally!) reading Elantris on my Kindle (damnation it!). I was so surprised that I stared and squeaked and smiled like a lunatic and before I knew it I both missed my stop and he got off before I could say anything, so now I am always carrying a physical Sanderson book with me, hoping I will stumble upon my soulmate again 7

+Doomstick he/him Posted August 1, 2019 Posted August 1, 2019 What about reading on a balcony at all the dances/parties you go to, then going to refill your drink? 1
Ghanderflaffle she/her Posted August 1, 2019 Posted August 1, 2019 Only problem is I don’t go to parties. Oops! 1
