Archivists *truly* anonymous - they store the memory of who they are before going to meetings!

Or Aluminum Ferrings, whatever they're called.

Not really a "useless" thing, but soulcast a piece of wood into atium and burn it to win a game of tag.

Burn bendalloy so that you can leisurely pull out your notes or phone and look up the answers to a test.

Atium is just a normal metal physically. You need the power of Ruin to create atium. Lots of it.

Set Aon Tia to teleport things some distance away to another Aon Tia underwater set to send him to a third Aon Tia in a burning pit which sends him to the Sel equivalent of Antarctica only to be teleported into an electric discharge set barely below lethal threshold running continuously that loops him back to the first. Set up a contraption to allow you to cut off the loop whenever by moving the plates. Torture someone. When he finally gives in and gives you what you want telefrag him.

Essense mark your bf/gf into a loop of cliche anime personalities, different each day of the week.

It's Forging personality.

Stamp novels to turn them into other novels. Buy War and Peace, then never buy another book again.

I think Shard may have just been showing his/her (/it? I guess Shard's don't really have genders, just most of the holders do) aptitude for spell checking ;)

Not having read it, I wasn't presuming to count it as worthless. I just mean that it's long enough that you could probably stamp the paper to be printed with anything after you have read it (or before, if you don't care that much; actually, removing the stamp ought to return it to War and Peace anyway).

Ah... Fair point. I suppose if that's true, the worst that happened is that I explained something superfluously.

And my phone's lack of aptitude for spell checking. It only autocorrects correct words :P

In that case, it would be better... though blasphemous... to stamp Words of Radiance. Or a bible (even bigger than WoR if you can imagine).

The book of endless pages versus the book of endless life? ;)

No judgements here :) I secretly wish that I could be Brandon's official proof-reader. Unfortunately, that would require so many things that I don't have. Like maybe an English degree. Or an American passport.

Come to think of it, if you strap Nightblood to a moving object pointy end sticking forward, unsheath him, then let go will he still vaporize things?

If it doesn't, we can start a business of tunnel digging using human souls.

Blue and black.

Please, let's just not.

If you look at other pictures of the same, it's blue and black (or rather, blue and dark brown).

To an Inquisitor, it's just metal and not-metal.

I see it as white and gold, but in the last couple hours I saw a few pictures of it with different white balances, and the one that yielded blue and black (or dark brown, as you say) also yielded the best background. In short, I agree with you. I still think it was an unnecessarily whimsical thing to cause such division.

And, because I feel obligated (heh) to include a useless use for a useful power:

During TLR's reign, have an Obligator oversee a land transaction from you to yourself.

(Technically a useful power, even if it's not magical.)

I see blue and gold. I'm weird.

Essence Mark someone with an exact copy of their soul with all the usual self-stamping instincts. Explain forgery to them (poorly) and make them doubt whether their soul is real.
