To be 100% analytic we don’t actually know that those were the elims

I feel like that’s a lot of power for an elim squad that already contains a pseudo-Coinshot and a pseudo-IM

I’m starting to think that we may not have an IM, idk about you, but I haven’t gotten any PMs from someone saying they know my role. And no one’s been acting like it either.

So unless it’s someone inactive I don’t think we have one

If hoid claimed to be a pseudo elim, and I and others have publicly stated we believe the meta-elims want the pseudo elims to win, why are we not voting for Hoid?

 

@Hoid Slayer, nice RP. I thought you were claiming to be a spiked though and not a p-elim. I still think there's a moderate probability you claimed spiked too.

I think I'm fine not voting here myself because we have a two point lead (would take five Investiture to get Verdance exed over Myst, and for Reasons™ I am fairly confident no one has that much) on the Myst exe and I don't want to make it harder for us to exe who we want to in the next MetaCycle. Sorry Myst, but I think this makes the most sense here.

He’s seemed village to me too. But I don’t like that he’s (probably) lying about his role. And I didn’t like his reaction to the accusation of said lying. A villager really has no reason to lie about this.

Yes. But. If we don’t exe Myst today his role probably gets changed and we never know if he’s lying. So we should come back to the Hoid exe next cycle.

I’m personally pretty skeptical that any of us are actually “good at analysis”. Some of us are just good pretending to be confident .

Anyway, I keep waffling on what I actually want to do here. I don’t know if I like that CadCom is voting Hoid here. But I also do completely see the idea behind it, assuming we think the MetaElims are going for a PseudoElim win here. But do we even think that? Who is we? Gah. This game is breaking my brain. I really thought I understood it before this started, but as time has gone on I’ve gotten more and more confused.

I don’t know. I was thinking village but apparently there’s some good reasoning for it to be elim, which I’ve been promised will be shared next cycle. I do think we should do Myst today and then exe Hoid next cycle. Only because I think Myst is lying and if we wait until next cycle there’s a very good chance the pseudoGM changes his role and then we never know if he is lying or not unless the pseudoIM comes forward.

Fair enough voting me, it’s not like you can vote TJ’s seeker(whoever they may be) so it’s not like you can check any other way.

But again, my role here is much more useful than my role in the meta game(IMO) so if you are going to exe me I’d prefer you do it there.

That said, I get the reasoning. Obviously I know it’s wrong but I get you all don’t. I also would not like to vote Hoid for reasons, there are other Pseudo elims we can vote. But for now keeping my vote on Ver works.

Since no one seems to be suggesting using my lurch on anyone, I have found someone to protect(that person has been made aware btw) 

I will probably be on a bit before rollover to see what happened while I was sleeping, and I can probably PM for a bit longer, but otherwise I’m probably not gonna post for the rest of the cycle, I severely doubt I’m gonna have the mental energy to figure out what in the world happened.

Eh, I really wanted to wait till we got the pseudo and subsequently meta-flip of Myst before outing the pseudo-elim team (in a tiny chance that we were pure) but Myst being our NK target does not change the fact of the matter either way. I can see the mole reveal to the meta-elim team that we would kill Myst and then Myst wanting to get at least one shot off before dying and choosing to specifically kill a pseudo-elim with that one shot. 

And bro, the whole pocketed talk is a bit counter-productive. It is only the second cycle. If you feel pocketed, revaluate!

Honestly, same. I've kinda just listened to (what I see as) probably village and decently competent individuals, because I have no storming idea. It feels like that Harry Potter game where we should've had lots of data available for analysis, but we were unable to really capitalize on it

There is 100% a Coinshot still running around who killed Xino

I also don’t want to try and exe pseudoelims here, not just cause I’m a pseudo elim, but also cause our numbers have already been reduced and it’s getting dangerous
