If we get Lucky an execution tells us whats going on. 

Now I know that most of this has already been said by other people but there isnt really anything to add at the moment, will need to see how it goes. 

For self preservation Purposes I will move my Vote from Qian to Mint so that there is a tie again and I may survive.

Its also interesting how none of us (me included) had a very strong reaction to being poked.

sorry  I didn't know you tended to get suspected on D1 (did you mention it last game? I might have forgotten). to be fair though, I thought some other trains would pick up the closer we get to rollover so we'd have future votes to analyze but no such luck

Oh you and me both. There’s a reason I’ve earned the moniker of “Shield of the Lynch.” It happened so often and started so long ago that it was before we switched to using exe. 

Anyway I think I’m going to leave my vote on Mint for now. I do think others should probably start consolidating votes now.

I do think voting is more productive in finding baddies when we put pressure on players, so I'm going to break the tie. These are all over the place rn which makes it easy for someone (or many someone's) to hide.

this post from mist reads village to me. not many people are putting out suspicions so far, so I don't see an incentive for someone who's against the village to draw attention to themselves like that

I'm also inclined to read fallen as village for suggesting we prioritize clues. Information is the main advantage whoever the elim(s) is has over the village right now, I imagine they'd want to keep it.

Not much to go on, but I'm going to vote Wahr. I'm seeing a couple posts pointing out that exploration and clues are unreliable. Which is true, but I'd be curious on thoughts on how we should best go about solving this @Through the living Wahr

I started a trend way back in QF78 where I romanced Jo's character (we were both converted elims) and then Coco in LG110 (we were both elims) and I told Mist I'd romance his character next game if we were both elim so

Helpful, but you'll forgive me if I'm still wary  Note to self: Mint linked to Mist. 

Wahr has come under fire a lot D1. He tends to gets defensive when voted on D1 which leads to more people becoming suspicious of him. We should have exed him D1 last game though .

I don't have strong feelers on Mint or Wahr tbh. They had their first evil game (I don't remember Mint's prev games so it's a first for me) so I don't have a strong grasp on their e! play. 

Not going to vote on Fizz, Star or Conure, and willing to give Verdance, Miss and Mint another cycle to get adjusted on their second game. 

Between Mist, Striker, Wahr, Akimiko, Qian, Mippo and Dive... I like Mist so far (Verna likes Brax quite a bit) just not willing to actually clear them yet. Dive Akimiko and Striker are pretty experienced but have been busy. Qian Mippo and Wahr have been in thread but haven't said all that much. It's a pretty limited list >>

There was the whole Basement/Ground floor thing and I know it is flimsy reasoning, but it's all I had. I am willing to change my vote; this was kind of a tentative "well I don't know what to do so here goes" kind of thing. But unless something else happens, for now it stands.

I'm catching up and I compiled what people stated regarding where they were visiting N0

 

Basement (3) - Mist, Striker, Mint

Ground Floor (5) - Wahr, Fizz9, ___, Star, Conure1243

Upstairs (4) - Divergent, Doc12, Verdance, Miss Fallen

 

And it seems like the odds aren't that far off from each scenario being likely to happen? I do find it curious though that there were several who picked the Ground Floor. To the people who chose Ground Floor, were you interested in playing the standard game or was there another reason for the choice?

Other thoughts I had: 

- I have a light village lean on Mist for being the one to initiate asking where people explored. It's well within his range to initiate things as elim, so it's not a hard leaning, but I think him doing that so early contributes to a game where people will be open about what they're doing and dissuades any elim from doing  something shady

- I'm feeling a light sus on Wahr for the whole Basement/Ground Floor thing. He mentioned that the mixup had to do with English not being his first language, so I'd like to hear a little more of how that happened. Other than that, I don't think his reaction to being wagoned is necessarily suspicious, since I think he's defensive regardless of alignment. At the moment, I wouldn't want to vote him too since I think he falls under players I easily misread, so I'll be observing him more if he remains sus later on

- I also liked Mint asking people why they chose the floor they did. I think that helps us later on, especially when we've figured out what scenario we're in and looking into if there was something suspicious about the reasoning people gave out

Also, could someone clarify what that discussion about being able to figure out if it's Scenario 3 based on the flips meant? I didn't quite catch what the takeaway from it was

- Currently, I'd want to vote Akimiko. I find it a little off for her to say that she's here now, but then disappear without saying anything else

Other than those, I don't have much of a leaning for everyone else. I feel like that's probably on brand for D1s to be slow, especially in this format where we're not certain what kind of game we're looking it, but it'd be good for people to share their thoughts, so we can get a better handle of what their perspective is or where they stand in the game

We got this confirmed by Araris, but if the person who dies tonight has a role, it cannot be scenario 3. If no one dies tonight it can’t be scenario 2.

For Scenario 2, is it because either someone gets shot or the one with the gun die if the kill fails?

The person with the gun has to kill someone. If they choose not to kill (or are blocked) they die.

I know some people are reading mist as village, but I’m reading opposite actually. Part of this may be sibling antagonism, but in that spirit my votes on mist. Also, I’d soft read striker as village for starting the discussion with pokes, despite the possible train on him.

I see. Good to know that there's other ways for us to figure out the scenario we're in, outside of the clues, which may be unreliable (due to the possibility of getting clues from a different scenario by chance)

a poke vote is essentially poking someone to say "hey say something". its something people do on D1. it's not really a "I find you suspicious" vote

the pinned SE rules/etiquette post might have a better explanation, I think wilson defined some common terminology in there

I meant that since I technically had my first vote as a poke vote because I misunderstood what that was, my actual vote is on Wahr. Does that make sense?

If i randomly poke someone or announce a vote, that person will probably die and people will find that suspicious of me, given my limited experience from last game. So, I am either not voting (my vote will be random), or not announcing my vote

Now we’ll see if I’ve learned something or if I’m overcompensating
