You can also configure it in your settings to automatically follow a topic that you post in (might be automatically on), or if following the subforum gets annoying, you can follow whoever's running the game temporarily.

No, but I (and usually every GM) tag all the alive players in every new topic for the new cycles. So you will get pinged nonetheless.

Hmm, from what I have seen and remember, usually the Game Master will post in the end of the thread at rollover, to ask people to not post further until the new thread is up. What would people think about having the GM edit in a link to the new thread once it's posted?

On the negative side, it is a little extra work for the GM, unless they get their IM to do it for them. It also will not help all that many people, only those who are playing for the first time. On the positive side, it will help the first-timers get from thread to thread as the cycles progress, since it usuallly takes some time for the threads to be merged.

I don't think it is necessary if all GMs tag all the players in the new thread. Besides, once the threads merge, the links would need to be edited out as well.

I am officially closing the sign-ups now, though the GM PMs and the new cycle will go up at around 2200 hrs GMT itself.  That is in about 3 hours and 30 minutes.

I did mean to start the game today but I've got a bit to do and my eyes are shutting down involuntarily, quite tired from all the travel. Once again, I apologize for all the delays, sorry, but the game should start in around 24 hours *finger crossed*, that should be the last of the delays. I did not want to fall asleep without making this announcement. Feel free to talk in here till then.
