Edited to add 2: Yes, I saw it TJ, and now there is a record of it in my post \:P

;-;

If you have an explanation of a thought process of how you went from being wary of STINK to clearing him, I'd love to hear it.

In other news, tiny bit NK analysis. Elims tend to usually kill of players who they personally v-read thinking them to be more village-read than they actually are. Not really sure that applies to a Kas kill, but I went back and checked the players who mentioned they v-read Kas and the only non-Stick (hehe) players who did so were... Raven and Polly sigh

There wasn't really much of a thought process, it genuinely seemed like they just wanted to chat and there weren't any ulterior motives. granted, I'm not always great at picking these types of things up even IRL. So take it with a grain of salt. I pretty much instantly noticed that Kas was kinda taking control, and he said that he tends to do that when he's V, so that was my basis for the Kas V-read. fwiw, I'm trying to give my opinion \:P.

edited to add: Did you v-read Kas yourself?

Gandor rubbed his eyes tiredly. The person who had introduced him in an odd manner (Tee-Jay? That was his best guess at the name) was getting on his nerves. The man had insinuated that he was an assassin! Granted, he'd only been a priest for the past few months, so he was relatively new, but that was not a good reason to go after him! He rubbed his temples lightly. He had a strong feeling about Tee-Jay, but couldn't pin a reason for it, frustrating as that was. Maybe it was something like the glint in the taller man's eyes. something just irked him about the man.

Elidyr had caught his attention, unsurprisingly. The previous day, they had been odd, throwing accusations around like they were some kind of candy that everyone should partake in. It felt odd, and he was waiting for confirmation from the elder priests for whether or not Elidyr was like this in similar situations.

The unnamed priest (Gandor had dubbed the boy Misty, for some reason) was an odd duck as well. He sighed quietly, flicking through his notes. not a whole lot today, except for a retaliation accusation against Simon.

Simon, for whatever reason, got stuck inside Gandor's head. The way he so casually voted for Misty was odd. He also gave no reasoning for this, simply ignoring Misty's cries for an explanation. He noted this down in his notes. He may be someone to watch. However, recent notes had created some confusion in his mind. He needed to clear his head.

Evinir was being extremely aggressive. Definitely someone to watch. While Gandor was all for going after Izimir's killer's, it was indeed odd how he continued off of Izimir's intuitions (Granted, Gandor was doing much the same thing, so he couldn't exactly judge).

Gandor swallowed slightly. The loss of Izimir was a great blow to the cause. He could tell, the gleam of experience sparkled in his eyes, probably could have been a detective if he wasn't a priest here. They could no longer lean upon his great knowledge and experience. The game had suddenly gotten much, much harder.

Edited to add: OOC: I spent too long writing so it didnt merge TwT

How did Raven go from "Ahhh go away demon" to "STINK clear" in the PMs

Same way everyone else does, I say hi and they go what a nice guy

Vote staying on Misty/Ruler for a while till I see something actionable other than me :P

Happy with more pressure on Polly and Wandering Wizard

Gonna be busy tonight so I'll send fun PMs but probably not sizeable thread content celebrating a mate's birthday y'know how it is

annndddddd why?

Smhhhh please re-read last cycle. This is also to everyone, re-reading previous cycles is always helpful in giving legacy reads.

From last cycle -

Ngl bro, not feeling good about you either :( My village strength is in mid-game and my opening is quite slow and quiet almost always. I know people say 'you don't know your own meta', but like, I'm pretty sure there a noticeable difference in opening activity with my elim and village games (in that I think my opening activity is higher when I'm elim when compared to village). I think I discussed this is with you prior. And pretty sure you know the whole "slack off in the beginning, kill it mid-game, and break your head endgame" part of my game. So this minor push on me feels ehhh, you know how obvillage I can be later in the game.

Disliked his push on me. Usually Kas gives a bit more leeway/time to grow into the game and I did not expect him to do so in C1. I do not think I am a good primary but I can be an excellent support/secondary to Kas' primary and everyone who has played with both of us know that, and also know we can find each other quite quickly. So for him to push me C1 felt off.

Vote Count:

  • |TJ| (2): TheRavenHasLanded, Hoid Slayer
  • TheRavenHasLanded (1): |TJ|
  • KelsierApologist (1): The Wandering Wizard
  • STINK (1): ruler of the mists
  • ruler of the mists (1): STINK

Also just a note I renamed the GM PMs to "MR72 GM PM: [Player]" just so they stand out a bit more from the player-player PMs.

Rereading is for chumps with bad memories.

What I'm hearing is that I should make my PM titles more obnoxious

Definitely.

Wrt my "Kas won't like this" I knew I was breaking from my meta by voting someone, which already messes with him enough, but I made it worse by joining a train, which is a further deviation from my meta and was also a village read for Kas.

Ok someone vote for TUF for me they're talking about their own meta too much

I’ll vote Wiz: I don’t like the tie breaking vote on Stick. Even though he rescinded it, it feels like it solidified stick as the consensus exe. Maybe to protect TJ.

also has anyone given breath today? if not I’m fine with doing it

This is my trust order for now.

Hoid Slayer > ruler > TUF > Wiz > STINK > TwinStorm > BridgeBoi > Polly > Raven

10 players, 8 Breaths left. We should out pressure one 1 exe candidate and put forward 1 person we think will get NKed each cycle to give up their breath for us to maximize Breath Utilization. If we put forth a strongly village-read player to give up the Breath, the elims then have to make the choice between letting a strong village player alive or keeping more Breath in the game. Potential exe-candidate/elim will have to give up their Breath and help up, instead of not using them.
