I suppose. For now.

". . . Really?"

She crept up Rèva's arm a little bit. @Spark of Hope

Until we give it back once you leave, yes.

Anything that affects the world around you in a supernatural way woukd be extracted in the form of energy, to be returned upon demand. Alternatively, I could offer you the same deal as the Primals, where you vow not to use your abilities while on the surface of our world on penalty of being kicked out and perhaps being fined energy. In exchange for accepting a meee promise, you would give us a tiny sliver of energy— as small as you like— and vow to see Judah’s divinity returned to the Pocket.

Ver looked around, realizing he was the last one left. He stepped forward.

The latter is probably the best, considering my entire existence could be classified as ‘supernatural’.

Excellent. Go ahead and make your vows and your donation.

Uhh… okay.

”I swear, with the code inscribed upon my existence, to never willingly utilize offensive action upon your world except for in cases of self-defense only in self-defense, and to see Jidah’s divinity returned to the Pocket.”

Ver extended his hand, and began to tremble a little as he released a piece of energy, similarly to how he had channeled energy into Jidah at the Rift.

The energy will need to be captured in something, otherwise it will dissipate

Gotcha

The Star stepped forward and took the energy, absorbing it into herself. She glowed a little brighter.

You’re all cleared to go down.

Kelyx stepped forward and reality blinked again, leaving them in a field of green grass sparsely populated with trees.

More than I expected. Thank you.

Once again, Ver reeled from the change, but adapted quickly. He looked around, intrigued. Despite this civilization - what were they called again? - being so developed, they still seemed to have a homeworld very similar to many mortal planets.

”Well,” Ver mused. “Now what?”

Kelyx beamed. “You flatter us. Thanks. Wait until you see the night sky!”

Kelyx beckoned them after him toward the outskirts of a tiny lil town. Strangely, there were no stones in sight. The houses were made of wood or clay.

It might be a good time to mention that Kelyx had a band of tattoo around his upper left arm.

The people who passed by stopped to smile at the party, waving cheerfully or staring with fascination at Kelyx and Ver. Mostly Ver.

”Where are we going? And how did you find us in Açila in the first place?”

“Jidah’s in this village. We’re just gonna go see her. I found you in Açila by following the beacon she’d arrived in Customs with.”

"As many mortals say, I cannot wait for the night sky." Oxy replied.

"I'm sure it's not that amazing," Latent remarked.

“I’m sure that face of yours is a mask or something,” said a voice right in front of her.

A girl appeared in front of her with a little pop, hovering upside down and cross legged in the air. Her red hair fell toward the ground in waves, and her freckled face grinned at Latent. She had an arm tattoo that almost matched Kelyx’s. “Be a real pity otherwise.”

“Daryglade,” Kelyx chided, but his lips twitched in amusement. Daryglade waved at him from being upside down.

Latent looks furious. "I... chose this face. I will assure you. It is much better than the alternatives. MUCH better."

"Don't mind her," Oxy said, "She is... difficult. I would ask you not to provoke her, because if you do, she will make it a fight. And someone will get hurt. And I would hate for it to be her. So please, for her safety. Just... don't." Oxy said, shooting a look at Latent.

Lati liked all the cool magic-y people, even if they seemed a little scary.

"I'm Lati," she told Daryglade quietly.

“I’m sure your friend can control herself,” Daryglade said lightly, flipping right side up. Her hair flopped into her face, and she blew it off. “She must have SOME good traits buried deep inside that living mummy.” She grinned.

They’re in a pocket dimension. Sigsimund will have to go through Custom if he wants to join them, and talk to the Star.
