“I’m sure your friend can control herself,” Daryglade said lightly, flipping right side up. Her hair flopped into her face, and she blew it off. “She must have SOME good traits buried deep inside that living mummy.” She grinned.

Daryglade waved at her. “Hi!”

Any expelled? Latent could get her way around that. But, Oxy will try and hold her back.

"She... does. Only a few, though." He replied.

"HEY!" Latent yelled at him, but then... disappeared? She was still there, just... paused.

Latent was yanked out of the dimension and reappeared at Custom.

The star did not look pleased.

Back on the surface, Daryglade grinned. “I knew I could break her.”

"I like your hair . . ."

“Thanks! I like your voice.”

“Jidah’s in this village. We’re just gonna go see her. I found you in Açila by following the beacon she’d arrived in Customs with.”

Ver nodded. So the cookie he had placed on Jidah had been useful after all.

48 minutes ago, Bird Furious said:

“Yup. The townspeople take us in a lot.”

“I’m sure that face of yours is a mask or something,” said a voice right in front of her.

A girl appeared in front of her with a little pop, hovering upside down and cross legged in the air. Her red hair fell toward the ground in waves, and her freckled face grinned at Latent. She had an arm tattoo that almost matched Kelyx’s. “Be a real pity otherwise.”

“Daryglade,” Kelyx chided, but his lips twitched in amusement. Daryglade waved at him from being upside down.

Ver paused to look at her.

”Greetings. Who are you?”

They left Açila (the world most of the RP has taken place on) with some people who claim to know where Jidah is (Kelyx, Daryglade).

Ver is 209845 (he changed his name to distance himself from the Cloud)

Might I ask what the Star and Custom are?

Sigismund stood around with the rest of the group, confused.

They don’t know how the Primals’ powers manifest. She thought she was using some kind of time travel magic. They’re very jumpy about their pocket dimension, is all.

What were you doing?

10 minutes ago, Through The Living Glass said:

"Hehe! Thanks!"

Daryglade grinned, did a flip, and swam off in the air towards the village.

Kelyx tilted his head. “She’s acting weird. More… Daryglade than usual.”

“Sure was,” Kelyx said cheerfully.

He stood alone in a huge black room. The ground curved slightly under his feet, and stars were visible above. A woman stood nearby, glowing white and rippling.

Lati watched her go.

"What do you mean?"

“Her Sennight is Balance. Her mood shifts depending on what needs to balance out. I rarely get to see her so… happy.” He smiled a little.

Lati wasn't quite sure what that meant.

Sennight . . .

"Oh! Jidah told me about Sennights!"

Talking to Oxy, right?

"She... was pausing. It is a form of semi-timetravel that would be more interesting to you. It is where instead of moving the outside of time, you move your own." He sighed. "She... It doesn't break the promise. We are physically unable to break the promise until we leave. She was just. Managing her anger issues. She doesn't want to do something she might regret. There is only one way we can break our promise while we are in here. Death. That would involve us giving up our consciousness and creating a space-time rift. She didn't want to do that, so she needed to calm down. After all, no one wants to die. Not even her."

“Oh— power. Basically. Based on how the stars align.”

She was talking to Latent, but that works

The Star accepted this explanation and returned Latent.

". . . But stars don't move."

Ver looked in her general direction.

”Stars do move, Lati,” he said. This was something he was still sure about. “All cosmic bodies do. They are constantly shifting through space, an endless stream of gravity and momentum. But to us, it seems like they aren’t moving because we are moving with them. Like…” Ver tried to think of a mortal equivalent. “Like when you’re riding in a chariot, talking to someone. They don’t seem like they are moving, because you are moving together.”

”May we see Jidah?”

"What's a chariot? And gravity?" she giggled.

Ver’s face blanked. He thought for a second about how to respond.

”A chariot is abox mortals use to get from place to place. And gravity is what makes stuff come down when you throw them up.”

Ver thought for a second.

”Wait, Lati. If you don’t know this stuff, and don’t have memories, then how do you know how to speak?”

"I remember meeting you guys! And I remember stealing Owen's sword, and his apple, and . . . and the fox-guy, and other things!"
