Gavin looks away from the screen, blinking as he remembers where he is. “W-what? O-o-oh. I-I w-w-was l-looking a-a-a-at th-the t-t-t-tributes. D-d-d-don’t w-want t-t-to m-miss a-anything.” He turns back to the screen, watching with a strange infatuation. Something in him knows he should hide it, but he can’t. Beautiful…

This time it opens. Inside yada yada same description I’ve given like six times, man with blacker than black hair standing behind the counter. “Welcome,” he says, “to The Casino. How may I help you?”

"do you have any invested sand? food? weapons?"

Wait when did LightRinger leave? Am I going insane?

Jaksyn lost his right to live until the Change, so he’s running for his life right now. @Ancient Elantrian, his only plan is to run for his life, so should we keep RPing through that, or do you want Gambler to catch him?

“No sand right now,” Corin murmurs. “But I can get you food and weapons, depending on what you’ll give me in return.”

Ohh, you’re right, thanks!! So there are three people in the casino right now, meaning one open spot. We have Cash, RoyalBeeMage, and Hope or Wierdo inside, correct?

Sorry to keep repeating things, I’m running on VERY little sleep and I just got back from biking so my mind is somewhat scrambled. (Being a nerd would really help right now).

He looks around nervously, before going outside, making sure no tributes were there, and climbing a bit into a tree nearby, like 10 yards into the jungle

"For the first time in my life." Mark smiles. "Well, Darling, lets try to find a stream or river of some kind." This time there is barely a hint of sarcasm in his voice.

"You know, using Darling that often doesn't fit your character too well," Astra critiqued, eyes narrowing in jest. "Yes, I hear something of the sort I'm sure. Let's go down this way."

I can't actually play poker

Even though I once *theoretically* gained like a couple thousand bucks

If only we hadn't played with chips.

Unfortunately, all we have right now is a few rosharan gambling games.

The Gambler flipped a chip with a bag of sand on it. "I do, yes."

"Why, I wonder that you'd ask!" she flashed her smile and shook her hand, "Of course, darling."

Dougella, HG Arena

Dougella looks at her in surprise, petitions dying on silent lips. "You will" she says. "But where is the challenge in that?" she tries to snatch the words back. "I didn't mean that" she responds to her own question. Trudging along behind them, she glances longingly back at the building. She treads slower, and while the others trudge ahead, heads back, go to one of the doors again. The doors that seem to draw her, and her contestability.

It opens. Inside is a typical, if quiet, casino. Behind the counter stands a man with blacker than black hair. “Welcome,” he says, “to The Casino. How may I help you?”

(Astra took no note of her at the time)

As she walked with @The Stormfather she paused again, jerkily. For a moment, she stayed there, sensing the jungle. Someone was missing.

"Dougella, darling?" Astra looked about, with an air of distraught. "It seems we have lost someone already."

She spun back to Mark.

"Come, let us trace our steps. There is danger in the center, yes, but there is another type of danger in isolation. I think it'll be mighty fine over there, dear."

Astra began to walk back, in the direction they came from, where they had lost Dougella.

Dougella, HG Arena

Dougella walks into the Casino, gazing around with puppy dog eyes at everything. "A Casino" she breathes with wonder, and awe. She runs her hands along the benches, tables, and walls of the casino as she walks by. The touch of someone that knew them inside out.

Dougella ran around in the district, her bare feet padding against the grass, as she raced other children, none of them her friends... No matter how hard she tried. "Your are to competitive" or "I don't like you" Nights that she would weep in her bedroom, or to her grandmother. Who would soothe her. Promising her tales of glory, and introducing her to their families god. A mythical figure, named Arranis, who was said to have shaped her great great ... grandmother.

Dougella said a prayer to him now, for looking over her. She walks up to the fellow that stood up the front, "Do you have any chromium minds or flakes" she breathes, taking in the magic that she loved, the casino, and the competitiveness of it.

Jaksyn ran through the woods, when suddenly he started storing Fortune. Not a ton, but he noticed it draining a bit, and a few more branches whacked him in the face than normal. If I just got a bit more…

Rekker narrows his eyes, but is currently distracted by the other conversation.

I'll have to talk to Piph about him later.
