The subsequent draining of the pacific, death of half ocean life, and the environmental catastrophes that follow aren't actually related to the bane, and that's just cause and effect. You get incredibly relaxed as time goes on, and eventually the hours blend together. You don't know how long you've spent sitting there, but it feels like you have all the time in the world. I wish people are a little more aware of carbon monoxide and its dangers 1
