ShadowLord_Lith he/him Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 Granted, you drool instead. I wish for discord(MLP) and bill cipher(no introduction required) meet up and fight odium together, leaving the Cosmere for time and all eternity afterwards.

And he kills them. And they go to the beyond. Also, you die in the crossfire. Sorry. I wish to live on roshar and be a dustbringer
18th Shard he/him Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 You live under the middle ocean in a cave grotto on Roshar, and are a dustbringer who has sworn only the first oath. You have no stormlight or food, and limited air which over time is poisonous (Oxygen under high pressure is poisonous). Unfortunately, the water pressure outside of the grotto will kill you if you try to leave anywhere. I wish to be able to grant myself boons and banes without intervention from others.
DrakeMarshall he/him Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 Granted. You're judgement is now seriously impaired. The boons and banes you grant yourself are... Quite unpleasant. And nobody can intervene to help you, as per your own wish. So you destroy yourself. In theory, you could grant yourself better judgement, but since you're judgement is so bad, you immediately dismiss the idea. Power is only a good thing if it is in good hands... I wish for a dime.
Sparkrunner he/him Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 Granted, the dime is stuck in your throat, blocking your windpipe. Enjoy! I wish for the power to fly, immediately granted and active until I die.
Stormseeker he/him Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 Granted; however, you find that you have no control over the speed you fly at. Good luck. I wish for the ability to disappear from existence at will. 1
Sparkrunner he/him Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 Granted. You cannot reappear. I wish for the ability to see the future posts of everyone in this thread, or in PM's relating to this thread. 1

Fortunately for you, you die immediately you leave the earth's atmosphere, so only your corpse reaches the sun and serves as fuel for the sun's nuclear fusion reactions. Since the sun provides the energy that plants use for photosynthesis, this is technically a boon for you. Yay! You get two boons from the Nightwatcher, cheater! I wish to have the next poster as my personal punching bag for a year.
Sparkrunner he/him Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 Granted. Year 2534. I wish to a become a character in one of Brandon's works.
Zennix he/him Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 Granted. You become Clod, the Lifeless in Warbreaker. I wish you a very long life as a Cosmere zombie. I wish to own an Inquisinator (a Terminator Steel Inquisitor). 1

Basically an oversized toy that parts of it will rot away, leaving heaps of metal scraps. If it does somehow turn on it will, of course, murder you instantly. Your bane is that you have an overpowering, unresistable desire to fix it and turn it on, and that you have been granted the resources to do so. I wish for infinite snow cones. Brightness Enna she/her Posted May 22, 2017 Posted May 22, 2017 By the power invested in me, I RAISE THEE a snow cone army that can never die, no matter how many times you eat them! Oh, and by the way, anything you write comes out in sloppily written Mandarin. I really wish I had less skill in that fine, time-tested art of procrastination.
Zennix he/him Posted May 22, 2017 Posted May 22, 2017 Granted. You always decide to complete every task on time. Bane: You gain the Smedry Talent to always be late to everything. I wish to live on Roshar.
TheDoomsday he/him Posted May 22, 2017 Posted May 22, 2017 You will live on Roshar, but you will be unable to interact with anything there. I wish for Oathbringer to come out tomorrow.
DrakeMarshall he/him Posted May 22, 2017 Posted May 22, 2017 Granted. You can go in a coma until the day before oathbringer comes out, so from your perspective, it seems like it only takes a day. But you did lose a few months of your life, all so you could reach your destination of Oathbringer. Journey before destination!!! *runs away cackling as you fall into a deep sleep* I wish for a flock of domesticated Aviar, ones that can grant useful powers. (I just read Sixth of Dusk ).

You now have a flock of aviars that can predict danger. On the bad side, they hate you. And you see your dead body everywhere. I wish to enjoy an 80 year supply of nutella Edited May 22, 2017 by The Flash
Modal Seoul he/him Posted May 22, 2017 Posted May 22, 2017 Granted, but it's horseradish. I wish I had money.

You sell your soul to Odium for $42.00 USD and now have money. When you die however, your cognitive shadow will be trapped on Braize and you will experience something similar to what the heralds did between the desolations. On the bright side, I'm sure when Sanderson eventually finishes his ten book series, the threat of Odium will be contained. So probably after a few years of torture you'll be freed to pass into the beyond. I wish for something that I won't regret wishing for, despite the bane. Edited May 22, 2017 by Drake Marshall

However it is time that you will treasure for the rest of your life. I wish that I won't have to go to my stupid choir concert tonight.

The nightwatcher perceives that your wish is really expressing a desire to have a more precise command of the english language, and grants you this. As your bane, you lose the little toe on your left foot, which gives you a slight limp. I wish to witness Hoid and Kelsier argue about being on time. Kelsier believes that "always being on time implies that you have nothing better you should be doing" where Hoid believes that timeliness is in fact the greatest and most valued virtue. Neither of them seem to be very good at dying on time... 1

Who knows what that will lead to.
Podman Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 No wish? Then I will grant you two banes! 1st: Everything you see always appears to be in slightly varying shades of green. 2nd: You will forever lose the ability to walk... with your feet. I wish to be wished upon by a wishing fish to fish a wish or my wish will wish wash away and be wasted. *pauses to take deep breath and bows*

You have gained another hunger drive, which craves solely oatmeal. And oatmeal no longer satisfies your normal food hunger. I wish to know people's names by looking at them.

When you look at people, you also see how long they have left to live, shown in a red bar underneath their name. Underneath that is a blue bar that shows their skill level in what they are currently doing. Also, from now on you despise all MMORPJ's. Your bane is that when you look at books, you see the author, title, genre, length of pages, word count, character count, and all of the main plot spoilers. You also see a meter that tells you how much you would have enjoyed reading the book without having the spoilers. I wish that my taste buds perceive everything as tasting wonderful. Not the same, still variety, but everything tastes delicious.
