Well then, I am afraid you are wrong.

About lying or about remembering?

Remembering.

Then who are you, if I can ask? And why must you detain the Child of Decay, Dilsha?

I will not say, and you know why.

I swear I will not use your name to harm you if you give it to me. Is that good enough for you?

No.

I will let you know that I do not need your name to find you, or harm you. Do not take this as a threat so much as an advisory. Do you know what she did to me?

Oh, please. I can already hear you.

"Are we? Because you are here, and cannot leave. That is not the case for me."

Dilsha let them talk, raising a hand to her face and biting nervously at her perfect fingernails. Then, as though realizing she was giving away her fear, she dropped it back under the table...and pressed one of the now jagged nails into her skin, drawing a tiny drop of blood...not much. Perfect. With a command like the one she intended to give, she didn't want it to have too much power. She muttered a few incomprehensible words, then stood and stepped to the wall, pressing the blood against it. "Destroy." The wall crumbled, despite whichever precautions have been taken for the sake of plot and being cooland she stepped through the hole.

How badly do you want to be imprisoned? You are not helping yourself here, Child of Decay.

Nothing happened.

Oops, sorry! I promise there's a really good reason though.

He did not respond, and simply watched at Dilsha tried and failed to escape the room.

Can I meet you in-person? Or do I have to continue drawing blood to contact you.

How come Sono's magic can reach them, but magic cannot destroy the walls?

Alex woke up. His mind was foggy, he couldn’t think straight. What had happened? Then he remembered. Dil, what had happened? Where was she? He had to go find her. She had…destroyed the palace? That man must have come because of that. Alex would find Dil and rescue her. First he had to find her though. He started running towards the prison.

Sono stopped him, and pointed to where her words were smeared on a wall.

Wait and watch, she wrote.

*sighs*

Fiiiine...we can just pretend I rolled a nat 1 on my escape check :)))

Or maybe you did something to take her magic away temporarily

Dilsha turned to the man, eyes cold and sharp and dangerous. "What did you do to me?" That should have worked. I can't...I can't even tell if I summoned a spirit.

Sono sighed, but wrote a word on the wall, and upon a drop a blood touching it, Alex froze.

I told you.

"My actions were a family matter," she said primly. "Anything else?"
