Whirte's healing factor tries to keep up with the damage, but he feels himself gradually growing weaker. He desperately sprays it with powerful waves of magical flame, blue and crimson. Claws and tentacles burn to ash in an instant. They immediately start growing back, only to be burned again. Both combatants feel their strength slowly waning.

This is wrong. It is a being of eldritch creation, of unknown origin. IT HAS BATTLED DEMONS AND ANCIENT HEROS OF THE PAST!

It duplicates itself, storing that safely away as it used the last of its energy to form a barbed, wicked and eldritch magic imbued spear, tearing towards the heart of the beast.
