Miyako shrank back and pulled her knees to her chest. "Ok."

Hyron sighed. "I performed one of the hardest actions there is, a Nexattunement, to save you. I didn't even know I was capable of that. That's why the Breath was green, not blue. It was so in touch with nature, with life, that it combatted death itself."

Hyron looked Miyako in the eyes, "That's how much I care about you, despite knowing you for barely even a week, and you just walking into my life out of nowhere. I care about you so much, I would fight death itself for you. And I already have. So return the favor, and tell me what's on your mind. What are you feeling?"

Hyron looked at Miyako for a second before standing and walking over to sit next to her.

She didn't say anything, she just sat there. But she was there. Hopefully that would help. She really didn't want to ruin this, especially after finally getting past Miyako's walls.

"You.." Hyron started, "You've built up defenses. I can see it. Something has happened to you in the past. I don't know what it is. But whatever it was, I'll do everything I can to make sure it doesn't happen again. Or come back to hurt you."

Hyron kissed Miyako on the head, holding her as she cried. "You're always putting up a fight," She whispered to Miyako, "You don't have to do that with me."

Miyako cried, simply allowing herself to let go. To feel safe with someone else. It was a feeling that Miyako hadn't felt in a long time. 

Miyako wrapped an arm around Hyron and pulled her closer, letting her tears run free.

The girl frowned, her face pinching. She took a large and obvious step away from Fiadh. 

She sighed, "Perhaps I need to be more specific. My name is Grace Maude Fitzcharles II. This is my road. And you're trespassing on it. Who are you to do such a thing?" Her voice was quieter now, and somehow far more frightening.

Behind her, the soldiers shuffled uncomfortably. 

"If you do not provide sufficient evidence that you have a right to travel on my road, I'm afraid I will have to have you arrested."

Miyako didn't know if she belived Hyron. Maybe she could eventually. But for now, simply holding her was enough.

Lenne scrutinized the girl. She was acting like a lady of high status, and she had a multitude of guards. Lenne decided that she would really not like to be arrested, and therefore should probably be overly respectful. "I'm sorry, milady. None of us knew this road belonged to you. As leader of the group, this is my error. Please would you allow us to go back the way we came and search for another way?"

Miyako mouth quirked up into a grin. "Yeah, you probably can kiss me." Miyako reached up to wrap a hand around Hyron's face and pull her closer. She proceeded to kiss her.

Hyron shoved the voice out mentally. Later, she said to it, and kissed Miyako back, grinning. Hyron wrapped her arms around Miyako's waist, pulling her closer into the kiss.
