Not really “maybe” - the whole point of Break Tanks is to try a game that will eventually be run as a longer format  

Nope it definitely is not.  I’m not sure even the admins can do it, we had this problem with a past Championships poll. 

That said, there are options in that area, like a Google form, or so long as votes are reasonably standardized a vote scraper like Drake’s or Straw’s could be connected up to a website that shows basically the same thing - I’d give you about a 15% chance that I do this in the next week over my spring break, even though I probably shouldn’t.

Well, this game was fun! I really like the different pace to the game, even though that first cycle was crazy.

Probably shouldn't have bet 7 on that first turn, but it's not my fault that all of you (except for ash) were playing it boring safe.

To be fair, I wanted to go eight to ten but my teammates were already a bit unnerved by five and I didn't have the heart to tell them I wanted more >>;;

For what it's worth, I almost certainly would've gone at least that high if there was a kill item.

I used my Hazecrusher, but added it to my inventory anyway :P.

You guys might have been fully prepared to bid high but I was fully against bidding more than 2 myself  That limit was predecided and had nothing to do with being evil, either, I just do everything I can not to die in games... it was fun seeing the various levels of self preservation everyone had though

I'd decided that I would bid absurdly high in the event of a kill item showing up, but didn't plan ahead my bids for anything else. I probably would've bid higher for non-kill items if I'd been a villager, but I didn't even really need to as I kept bidding 2 and got all the items I wanted.

I go into games expecting to die - the real question is how to extract maximum value from my death for the Village.

Oh, sorry - I guess in this game, I should say, 'for my team.' Urgh. Seven years man :|

While elimming, maximum value is not at all

I can think of certain situations in which me dying would lead to much value for an Elim team. Some of them are extremely kayana but nobody's perfect  Sometimes you just have to make the trade, because it makes the most strategic sense to do so.

No matter who the player is.

Even if they're your team's power role. 

Beginning with the obvious, which is that my being rusty, out of practice, and ill-suited for being Evil means that my death is a win-win proposition especially if bussed

I can say that eight years after, you were right  Not being so uptight and embracing death has given me a better appreciation for how you play.

But I was planning on dying. It’s not my fault the village failed to execute me  that’s their issue.

With all the games that we've run so far, we have plenty of experienced GMs that can help you refine any game you're thinking about. If you would rather keep some detail secret, or are self-conscious about posting in thread (there's really no need to be; while we do slaughter each other, we are very polite about it), then I'm sure one of our fantastic committee members (Amanuensis, STINK, Sart, Fifth Scholar, Straw, Archer, and Kasimir) would be more than willing to help you out in private.
