Well, I think I will try one out as well. There seem to be a lot of number centric (however you spell it) codes...

Be wary of making deals with Drought. He's shown himself to be perfectly willing to break his word and fail to uphold his end of the bargain.

I had been waiting on the last bit of information from CC, I had asked before PMs closed which defense he was going, and he had stated that he would tell me during the second Cycle (which implies Taylor Defense), but I was waiting for confirmation before I passed that on.

Then I figured that it wouldn't be of much use to let you know since he is dead and all...

But I do appologize for not passing on my suspicions sooner.

I am a bit surprised there were only 3 deaths.  This could either be because a ton of people picked the Taylor defense (especially as everyone was talking about how bad of a defense it was during prep), or because there were a lot of Matson picks, and people defended.  Though honestly, I would have expected a lot of Matson's to be attacking D1 as whether or not it is successful tells you info about them and their allies.

That stuck out to me too. I'm leaning towards the explanation that a whole lot of people drew the Taylor defense. Which would also mean that there'll be a lot more bloodshed next round. :D I find it unlikely that the vast majority of players drew Lines of Forbiddance.

On the contrary, if most people drew the Taylor, it should take 2 attacks to kill them, and as a Taylor's attack is worth 1, it will take 2 Taylor's to kill 1 person per night.  Because of this, there will actually be fewer kills, as to keep their kill-count up, people with the Taylor defence may need to double an attack with someone each day.

EDIT: more kills than D1, but I think still few kills overall.

Oh my goodness, things are really heating up. Ron, give us a play-by-play.
Amil is desperately fighting back against Elysian's assault. Elysian's putting up some serious pressure, but, oh no! He gets shot from behind by Loren Menza.
Tough luck there. Amil breathes a sigh of relief, but what's this? His circle's been broken as well! Someone sneaked in and eliminated him!
Fate can change at a moment's notice. Speaking of which, it looks like someone took out Loren.
The eliminations are spiraling out of control. Tendin Throk and Rose Shol have both been eliminated. This is getting crazy.
Bad news Tom. It looks like Vao Temer's Defense was a bit dodgy. A stray LIne of Vigor broke it.
He should have been paying more attention. This has been an avalanche of chalk dust. I can't wait to see what happens next. Let's see how the survivors recuperate after this.

This round will end at 4:00 PM EST on Sunday January 13. Get your actions in folks, I've already killed one person from the inactivity filter.

Straight to the point, I have reasonable information a Ballantain player wants to eliminate me, and I don’t want that to happen.

So, I’ll offer an exchange of services. If someone protects me with a Line of Forbiddance, I can protect myself using the same, and survive.

In exchange for this, I will protect you with a Line of Forbiddance when you think you need it.

Its also worth noting when this protection thing is going I’m also protecting mysel, so I won’t be a threat.

Logmul of Sdrawkcab blinked once.

Twice.

Her first circle had been exceedingly careful, meticulously copied from some others she had observed. She was deep in concentration, not really paying attention to the killing going on. To her surprise, a small group of people had approached her and consulted with her. Logmul of Sdrawkcab felt as though she might actually have a chance.

Until two of her new friends were killed. Her gut wrenched and she tried not to collapse onto the floor - or worse, shake the hand that was holding the chalk.

Logmul of Sdrawckab looked around the room, a panicked expression on her face. She was going to have to attack someone, wasn't she? What options did she have?

Or we could play that game where we start with a list of players, remove one that is not ourself, then pass the list on. Last person unremoved dies.
