Orlok, I wanted to try a different playstyle than normal. Though, I will ask you to consider my typical evil playstyle: do I lie often then? Do I draw undue attention to myself? Bringing that up makes it sound like I'm covering for myself by referring to old playstyles, but I feel the need to anyways.

When I'm good, as I am now, I recognize that dying isn't the worst thing for me. My team can win without me, so I'll take risks others won't.

Could we not lynch me this Cycle? Whoever protected me, thank you for that, but could you please reveal yourself so the protection you gave me isn't wasted?

Mailliw(and now Orlok), condemning me based on someone else's lack of attention is not appreciated. Even before I was protected, Mailliw tried to kill me, without reason. Now that I was protected, he's using that as the base of his argument against me, but why try to kill me in the first place Mailliw? You never explained that.

Also Mailliw, I recall you voting on every player the eliminators killed in QF10 when you were an eliminator(one of those happened to be me <_<). Now you're saying you never draw undue attention to yourself as an eliminator? I believe you're just trying to do as much damage as possible before you get lynched. You've taken control of the lynch twice now(DC and El, what was your reasoning for suspecting them exactly?), as well as attacked someone without explaining why.

Half the reason was attempting to get a dagger to Hellscythe so he could use it to break free. I chose you because of a gut feeling, sorry. There isn't much else there.

That's the one example, which I cited to El, but forgot to mention here. That time, I was attempting to garner all attention and bait the village into wasting lynches on me. So, if you truly do think I'm taking that playstyle again, don't you think it wise not to kill me?

QF10 had medkits that protected from lynches in a way(which is why you were baiting the village to lynch you). This games medkits do not, so the only thing I'm worrying about at this point is if you have more BoB's than me.

Turn 9: Legality in the Senate

Senator Palpatine carefully organized his papers as his attempted Killer took the stand and testified against him.

“Yes, I tried to kill Senator Palpatine, I don’t deny that. But I find it increasingly suspicious that no one will fess up to saving him! And we all know that it was the same Dagger I used against him that was used against Nowko! I may have attempted to murder Palatine, but he successfully murdered Lestibournes! Just like he murdered Machmuller!”

There it was. Palpatine finished arranging his papers in his bag, then pulled one last sheet out. “You claim, Liram, that I should be jailed because my alleged crimes are greater than your confessed crimes? I have a list here, of crimes you have committed against members of this Senate. Witnesses as well, unlike you.”

“Read them then.”

Palpatine smirked, and placed his finger on the list. “Item one: Senator Ritt Momney accuses you of Perjury, Obstructing Justice and fabricating Evidence to get him arrested.”

Liram scowled, and raised a finger. “I deny all of those, Senator Oromis is to blame for all of those.”

“Of course, someone who cannot defend himself is to blame.” He moved his finger down and read again. Item two. Senator Dyson Trump accuses you of, why, the exact same crimes.”

Liram hesitated. “Well, in that case, I truly believed him to be corrupt there was quite a bit or circumstantial evidence against him. I regret my actions against him, but were I in the same position, I would repeat them.”

“Of course you would. Item three.” Palpatine grinned wide. “Senator Elentari. Would you care to guess what crimes
sheaccuses you of?”

“Perjury, Obstructing Justice and Fabricating Evidence?”

“What metal are you burning that you can read my mind Senator?”

“Just get on with it.”

“Senator Elentari accuses you of the aforementioned crimes, and provides evidence for them. Senator Trump’s Lawyer, one Mr. Grisham, has looked over the evidence, and agrees that it is in fact forged, by yourself. Constable-General Heatherlocke agrees as well. What do you say to that.”

Liram bit his lip and shifted his weight from foot to foot. “I, well. The Ends justify the means! If getting two or three innocents arrested allows me to remove a corrupt senator, then it’s worthwhile!”

“What an absolutely pure and good argument. Does the end of gaining power justify the murder of Machmuller?”

“I didn’t murder Machmuller, you did!”

“Ahuh. “Item four, Governor—”

“Harmony! How many items are there?”

“Five. Item four. Governor Alron accuses you of bribery and theft against his person, in order to attempt the murder of myself.”

“All of this is just a smokescreen to hide your crimes! You—”

“Item five” Palpatine interrupted. “Senator Liram accuses you of attempted Murder against Senator Palpatine.” He lowered the paper, and talked in the way one might tell a child that he was being stupid. “That’s you and me, if you didn’t know.”

“Let’s just put it to the vote already Palpatine. I know you’re not planning on this evidence to sway our fellows anyway. You’re just putting on a show for the senators you
haven’t bribed to vote for me.”

“I never bribed a senator Liram. Though I wonder why that springs to your mind so quickly. A guilty conscience perhaps?”

Bang!

Both senators jumped as the Governor banged his fist onto the desk. “Both of you be silent. You’ve both presented your evidence. Now it’s time to put it to the vote. Senators in favor of Liram’s arrest?”

Palpatine cast a lazy eye over the senate as the hands began to rise. One, two, three, and four. It disappointing number to be sure, but it would work.

“Right.” The hands went down. “And Senators in favor of Palpatine’s arrest?”

Palpatine glared as each senator rose their hand to be counted against him. One, two, three. . . and nothing.

“Very well then. Constable-General Heatherlocke, the Senate finds it likely that Senator Liram is one of the murderers of Governor Machmuller. Please, escort him to the Holding cells.”

“Everything I did, was for the good of the Senate, and the people of Elendel!” Liram shouted out as he was dragged away. “All of you would have done the same in my position! None of you can deny it!”

As the senator passed through the doors, they swung shut with a ponderous boom, marking the loss of yet another senator of the people.

Jeezes. Every single time I try to be helpful nowadays.

EDIT: BTW STINK, thanks for including me in your signature. It's an honor. But I made another one for you last turn as well.

"Predictably unpredictable in your predictability." remember?

Hmmm..

I'm getting a gut feeling that Stink might be evil, but that's just a gut feeling.

Say, how many people even have a dagger right now?

EDIT: And how many corrupt senators have we killed?

EDIT 2 : I don't expect an answer to the first question.

Say, how many more people need to die for me to win?

EDIT: Oh and Kynedath, one quote per sig :P
