Experience he/him Posted December 16, 2021 Posted December 16, 2021 You set yourself up for disappointment by making that poll
Quantus he/him Posted December 16, 2021 Posted December 16, 2021 I like cats. I LOVE dogs. And unlike cats, dogs all Love me right back. 5 hours ago, Robin Hatter said: Cats are obviously far superior. Cats, the only animal that arguably domesticated us... 2

Channelknight Fadran Posted December 16, 2021 Posted December 16, 2021 The answer is scudding yes. Why is this a point of contention? Why confine your love when you can expand it twofold? Why not love both the goodbois and the sadistic demon babies? 5
+Invocation Posted December 16, 2021 Posted December 16, 2021 Sometimes I want a cat. Sometimes I want a dog. Sometimes I want a fish, or a ferret. All pets are lovable. 1

Orlion Blight he/him Posted December 17, 2021 Posted December 17, 2021 The main issue with dogs is that they have no concept of personal boundaries. Add to that that dog owners tend not to understand that not everyone wants to be slobbered over and knocked down by excitable canines, and they just aren't fun to be around. Of course with smaller dogs, it's kinda cat territory with regards to personal boundaries. But obnoxious dog owners tend to want big, energetic dogs they have no business owning. 4
Robin Sedai she/her Posted December 17, 2021 Author Posted December 17, 2021 I dunno, smaller dogs can be revoltingly energetic too. That's why I like cats - they respect my personal space. Also, licking is disgusting. Dog drool, ewww. 2

I like the sadistic demon babies better because they work with my personality more, but I still love both of them. 1
Quivil Posted December 17, 2021 Posted December 17, 2021 *rants about how racoons are evil* They really are evil. 1

This is goes for small children as well. Don't get me wrong, I love my two munchkins but this is not exaggerated! https://www.fowllanguagecomics.com/zombies-bonus-panel/ Anyway, I do get the allure of dogs, but I really like my pet to leave me alone from time to time and to be able to take care of themselves without the need for a walk no matter the weather. And to me it feels much more rewarding when one of the little demon spawns comes over to cuddle. Dogs are nice but you have to work so much more for something that basicly just throws its love around anyway... 1

cassiegoh Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 I've always been a dog person but my family bought the cutest exotic shorthair and now I'm a convert.

The Paradoxical Phenomenon he/him Posted February 8, 2023 Posted February 8, 2023 Dogs are better. Cats are of Odium.
