Tarah is only mentioned by name in Kaladins passing thoughts. Kaladin might have pulled a Shallan by dodging thinking of her for to long as if i remember correctly he thinks that he has failed her in some way. He might not have wanted to dwell there. Personally I think this is a good theory, he may or may not be a Herald or he might just appear later. Im glad you picked this up everything Brandon does seems to be planned out in advanced in great detail. It wouldn't surprise me if he ends up being just another Son of Honor member though. In a WOB Brandon said Shallan's father was influenced by Odium, i think maybe he was fishing for info on the father of hatred or perhaps he new her mother. I think Shallan was a total shock for him via his reaction to seeing her and i think it peaks his interest from the way he sought her out after he finished with her father. I find it interesting how he instinctively seems to know exactly what she is from the way he manipulates her into using Lightweaving. Im to lazy to check but when i was reading i think he uses Emotional Allomancy on both of them. Id love to see his reasoning but from his little POV's he doesn't seem to be... all there.

Not much of an Adolin fan but i think he will probably live through the whole series. On the other hand Kal is my favorite and i think he will probably die in book 5. It's the feeling i have. Good thread by the way Here's an upvote.

I'm so desperate for book 3 I'd read from Gallants POV I think Kal deserves somebody else, I like Shallan but she's far from my favourite character. I like her and Adolin together. I hope Jasnah turns cougar but she seems A sexual to me lol. I think Kal will get with the horse trainer or Laral.

There is a conversation in WOR between Kal Rock Sigzil Pete and moash don't want to give to much away but it makes Sigzil uneasy.

I think Relis has potential to be a good guy, if i recall he looks at Kal with respect during the fight and his father shipped him back to Kholinar so maybe they will cross paths again while Kal is out venturing the world. It seems to me when Kaladin caught the blade he acted as a conduit allowing Relis to hear what Kal heard. The scream of the spren. Whether the Spren screamed in pain at being used to kill or fear of a Radiant i don't know or i think since Relis seems a salvageable character to me maybe Kaladins interference awakened something in Relis that makes him a possible KR in the future. Either way i think these two will cross paths in Kholinar and Relis will make his choice, poor Kal he needs to make more friends. The thing im hoping for is Jasnah and Kal to cross paths and they have no idea who each other are...mwahahaha

I always thought the voidbringers were going to be the spren themselves and Parshendi/Parshmen or maybe even infected humans were more containers or puppets.

Hoid/Wit is mostly a mystery it's hard to go into detail without giving you any spoilers. Most of the stuff i have on him is from WOB's and theories. I hope this helps you..

I have been looking but there are so many WOB scattered about it's hard to find. I assume traveling back in time is possible but holds has a cost and i know that he the most powerful character in the series except the Shards themselves from another WOB. He really is a fascinating character i can't wait to find out more about him, we get glimpses from his POVs in SA but most of it is from WOB's. Every time i get a theory about him all it takes is 1 little WOB to blasts it out the water.

Kaladin no question! - he seems the most real to me, he has real inner turmoil and i have a soft spot for underdogs. He struggles with trust for lighteyes which is understandable considering they keep screwing him over and his battles with depression are inspiring considering he overcomes them eventually... Last but not least his epic battle scenes bring the book to life! 1. Kaladin 2. Wit 3. Dalinar

I think she just got lucky.. she's a good fighter and a great character but i think she was lucky. Rashek seems to selfish to pull punches. Pity we didn't get a chance to see a Fullborn in action though.

Hahaha honestly she was better in WOR than in WOK but sometimes she grates on my nerves. I do find her funny about 60% of the time.

The Unmade Kaladin finally bringing a girl home to meet his parents and the reunion between him Roshone and Laral. Shallans awful attempts at humor. Hoid and Frosts letters... Last but not least the horrible wait for book 4...
