  1. That was a game where if there was a tie in the votes for execution, all partied who were tied got executed. Penguin and the elim team managed to create a 5 way tie, including Penguin. The village could see it was possible, but didn't take the necessary steps to stop it. I don't do ties that way anymore, lol. I do recommend doing them thay way though.
  2. Sure it is, that definitely sounds like something an eliminator would say. Maybe this is the prequel to Tower's Pressure, when you flash-freeze a dozen people. I'm onto you. =P
  3. . . . Did you read that entire Writeup, or just the first few paragraphs? Celeste Spores are pretty clearly explained in that post I linked.
  4. I literally linked them? Their a fanon Spore type I made up for a previous game. IcedOutPenguin used them to kill 4 people at once. Upon contact with water, they remove heat and liquid from their surrounding area, causing extreme cold and dryness. Do not use them on people unless you like Mummies. Use them on food for long term preservation.
  5. I forgot about Celeste spores! Emmett had finished unpacking their bags and storing everything they owned. The last thing they did before leaving their cabin was to triple check that their supply of Celeste spores from their homesea was safe and secure. They kept a small pouch of the pale blue spores on their person, just in case they were needed, but in general they wanted them for experimenting with the other spores. The teachers here hadn't mentioned using them in lessons, so Emmett was curious about whether or not they had a supply or not. If they didn't, maybe Ford would appreciate them for the kitchens. They were excellent as food preservatives. A trade was in order. Emmett had just reached the deck when they heard Armiel speaking of making a grocery run. They stuck their hand up. "Hello, Armiel, could you pick up some milk? I've heard wonders about fresh milk, never gotten to try it, only the dehydrated stuff. Honestly I disagree. There are 8 non-Zephyr Spore Charges available. I don't think anyone is going to be able to track who gets what spore, until way later in the game. This isn't a game in which people will actually respect calling Dibs, because there's such a scarcity. Less unique charges than there are players. People are going to double up no matter how much we might preach coordination. (Yes, this is me admitting that I'm also going for Roseite) People attempting to call dibs on a Charge might eventually allow us to predict some things, but there's clear reasons for Villagers and Eliminators to go for every type of Spore, except, of course, Celeste Spores, which only Penguin and I should go for.
  6. Setting a Timer for half an hour so I don't spend all my HW time doing SE instead Emmett stood in the doorway of their small cabin, examining the place that would be their home for the next, some amount of time. However long it took them to become a Master Sprouter. It wasn't much of a cabin. Some shelves, a hammock, a dresser, a trunk. Enough to make themself at home, but not enough to host tea in. They stepped inside and closed the door behind them, then shrugged off their pack, dropping it next to the trunk. They could unpack and organize later. for now, they wanted to meet with the other novices. They weren't quite sure what the day to day would be like, and they hoped that one of the others would be able to fill them in. So, if I'm reading this right, with 12 people, there will be 36 spores obtained tonight. 28 of them will be Zephyr, so either people will make a bunch of PM's on Day 2, or people will save them for when they do get other charges. I feel like every non-Zephyr spore will get taken, and I can think of Village and Eliminator reasons to take all of them. I'm personally thinking of grabbing some Sunlight charges. @Amanuensis Are we allowed to do contingency orders? Like, if I put in an order to grab 3 verdant charges, can I put in an order to craft a Master Verdant pot right now, assuming I'm going to be successful on getting them? Or like, if I make a Novice Verdant pot, can I put in an order to give it to Wilson while making it? Or can I give Wilson a pot and she uses it on that same turn? Amanuensis, are there punishments for failing to craft a pot? Like, if I get my hands an 4 Crimson Charges, and attempt to craft a Master Crimson Pot, do I get wounded, or killed, or anything? Do the charges get wasted, or can I try again the next turn to craft a pot? Final question, can the untraceable Midnight Cultist kill go into cabins? Like, if I study tonight, am I immune to the Eliminator kill? The rules kinda imply that, but it feels broken.
  7. . . . EST? or am I missing something?
  8. I want to play. I keep forgetting to sit down and do an actual sign up, so expect that later. I'll be playing as Emmett.
  9. So, with Windrunner and Lightweaver being the surviving returned, as much as I want Evi to survive, I don't think she can. Edgedancer was the one I was looking for. You know, the one associated with regrowth and healing? Like, Evi fully got stabbed and killed in the writeup. Only Edgedancer could have saved her. I'm tempted to retcon it and let Windrunner save Evi, but that wouldn't be fair to the Elims, who did in fact put in the kill this time. So, sadly, Evi has died.
  10. Try this https://docs.google.com/document/d/1yHDE_wnebZ3ud6jik-1y392caaVc9UW2_jicSwjIIGU/edit?usp=drivesdk
  11. I have no idea if it is possible to change your vote. Yup. If a player was in a court who's god gave up their breath, that player was put at the bottom of the Seniority because they moved to a new court. The Seniormost priest of the Seniormost god was always the least seniorpriest the next cycle. Confusing! Unintuitive! Bad game design! Why did I decide to do that???? The Eliminators forgot to put one in.
  12. Well, you might not have died. (Legally, yes, Xino killed you.) It depends on how the polls go.
  13. Lightweaver led Evi, ____, and Iggdraz through the halls. They were surrounded by a troop of 40 lifeless guards, freshly made with commands that only Evi and Lightweaver knew. They had examined the evidence, first compiled by the priests of Elsecaller, and found the lies hidden within. Elsecaller, for all her paranoia and carefulness, had 3 traitors in her court. Kabsal, the poisoner, she had caught simply by recognizing the sensations in her body. She had set to work gathering information, but those efforts had been sabotaged by CD, who had been in her court for a long time. But examining the reports carefully, knowing what they now knew about CD, brought additional news to light. Lharir, her third in command, had been carefully protected by CD. And so his fate was sealed. 40 soldiers, 3 priests, and a Returned marched to kill one lone assassin. They were confident in their odds. *-: Lharir was exhausted. “Grace of Daybreak; command, ignore all orders not preceded by the word Cyan, Grace of Daybreak. Cyan, go stand in the North Corner, Cyan.” Another twenty or so lifeless soldiers moved away to stand with the others. After he had killed Leucosia and Zyvoxid here, the barracks had been far more strictly guarded. But that had been easily circumvented, since the lifeless still obeyed the commands he had secretly inserted into them. It had required him to massacre the priests who had already been inside, but they were oppressors. “Grace of Daybreak; command, ignore all orders not preceded by the word Cyan, Grace of Daybreak. Cyan, go stand in the East Corner, Cyan.” Another twenty or so lifeless soldiers moved away to stand with the others. He had been in here for 3 hours now, hijacking lifeless while Lightweaver and her priests searched for him. It would have been a waste of time to debate them. Maybe if Evi had died when she was supposed to, he could have talked his way out of this mess. A few small mistakes and everything crumbled. They would have to try again, but be more patient, more subtle. Or he could just brute force it now. “Grace of Daybreak; command, ignore all orders not preceded by the word Cyan, Grace of Daybreak. Cyan, go stand in the Center, Cyan.” The last 20 lifeless in this barrack walked away to join the others. 10,000 lifeless, all of Windrunner’s army, taken and turned against Hallandren. He knew why they had been against this plan in the beginning, far bloodier than simply killing all the Returned, but he couldn’t kill Lightweaver and the rest without killing their guards at this point. “Cyan!” He screamed this command, so that every lifeless could hear him. “North Corner, hunt down and kill Dustbringer the Brave! East Corner, hunt down and kill Windrunner the Protecting! South Corner, hunt down and kill Skybreaker the Just! West Corner, hunt down and kill Edgedancer the Loving! Cyan!” 8000 lifeless marched up the ramps to the palace proper in four directions, towards the palaces built on stolen land. Lharir remained, surrounded by 2000 lifeless soldiers. He waited, knowing that eventually, Lightweaver and the others would find him. :-**-: They watched, nervously, as Lifeless streamed past them. It must have been hundreds, streaming out from Windrunner’s barrack. Maybe thousands. They ignored everyone around them, even when orders were shouted at them. Evi, with the Breath of Truthwatcher still in him bringing him to the 6th heightening on top of her normal breaths, was using their 40 to capture lifeless, a few a time, and forcibly reprogram them. There were other high ranking priests doing the same, but it took minutes at a time to erase the commands of a single lifeless, and it took breath. Whatever these lifeless had been ordered to do, this wouldn’t stop them. “Evi, cease.” Lightweaver pointed towards the Barack. The stream of lifeless had finally ceased. “We cannot stop this group, others must manage on their own. We can assume that Lharir is in there causing this. Our task is to kill him. It won’t end the threat, but there might be more he plans to do.” “Yes my lady.” Evi released the struggling lifeless. It stood, and rejoined the others. They were marching towards Dustbringer’s palace. Evi had only managed to reclaim 6 lifeless, but that brought them up to a contingent of 50 people. It would have to be enough. The group marched down the ramp. :-**-: Lharir watched them come. He stood near the front of the group. Close enough to order the first troop forward without being overheard by Lightweaver, but far enough back that she wouldn’t immediately see him. As soon as Lightweaver’s priests were all in the room, he gave the order, “Cyan, kill Lightweaver, Cyan.” He hurried backwards, as the first 20 or so soldiers charged forward. Once he was further in, he gave the order again. *-: They were attacked immediately. Evi and Lightweaver exchanged looks, and then her Goddess stretched forth a hand, and mist coalesced into a gleaming blade. “_______, Iggdraz, this fight will be deadly, head back out.” The two looked at each other, then fled back up the ramp. “Evi, I need to use my blade, but you do not yet, please send Puzzle to spy. If we can learn the code to controlling them, this battle will turn immediately.” Evi nodded, and glanced to Puzzle, who flitted away immediately, moving in that strange way towards where hundreds of Lifeless stood motionless, apart from the small groups charging them. Lightweaver arranged their 46 Lifeless as a funnel, with herself at the tip. The opposing lifeless charged forward, eyes only for her. They attacked other targets only if they did not see another path to reach the Returned. Given such shoddy orders, 46 could take 2000, especially if one of those 46 had a Shardblade. :-**-: Lharir gaped. What in the Tones was that sword? That couldn’t be done with Awakening, could it? It cut through Lifeless like they were Awakened from paper! He had to change tactics. “Cyan, circle around them and attack from behind, Cyan.” He went to the next group. “Cyan, attack the Lifeless protecting Lightweaver, Cyan.” The next group. “Cyan, kill Evi, Cyan.” “Cyan!” A small voice that sounded exactly like his said from the floor. Lharir looked down, and saw nothing. What had that been? *-: The Lifeless changed tactics. Abruptly, they found themself in a losing battle. Lightweaver couldn’t take the time to rearrange her troops, and so Evi found herself desperately playing general, organizing their surviving lifeless into a semi circle around Lightweaver, in a slow retreat to get their backs to a wall. Puzzle zipped up to her, and then Lharir’s voice sounded. “Cyan, kill Evi, Cyan.” Evi grinned. “Cyan! Protect Lightweaver! Cyan!” :-**-: No! No no no no no no no! How?! Lharir raged. He still had 1500 lifeless to give orders to, but now Evi was ordering his lifeless, that he had spent hours stealing, against him! What had that thing been? How did she learn the code?! “That’s it, I’m done with this grey-scale world.” He spat out, then screamed. “Cyan! Kill Evi! Cyan! Ignore all further orders! Cyan!” He pulled a sword off one of them, and charged with them. :-**-: They got lucky. The sounds of combat had drowned out the scream. Only the Lifeless who hadn't been fighting heard it. That meant that Lightweaver and Evi had about 300 Lifeless following their commands to protect Evi from 5 times that. It wasn’t enough. Ichor Alcohol flowed, turned the packed earth into mud. A dozen times, Evi found herself cut by a blade, and a dozen times, Lightweaver was there destroying the lifeless. But eventually, Lharir himself slipped through the lines. He stabbed her himself, a blow straight through the belly. She clutched his hands on the hilt of his sword and watched as his eyes smoked and went out, as Lightweaver was there once more, too late. She fell. MR74 - The End: Puzzle Doc12 was killed (maybe?) by Xinoehp512, who was then! Iced Out Penguin and technically Aeternum are the only survivors! The Game has ended! But one final vote remains! I call upon the players, living and dead, to vote. Which of the 5 remaining gods survive? There is a combination of them that might be able to save Evi. The Loyal Priests have defeated the Pahn Kahl Conspirators! It was a very close call there. A few different votes and the PKC would have swept. If you would like to see what was discussed in the various courts and Docs, open this link! That is the Master Doc that contains every single Google Doc used for this game. I did have a Spreadsheet for tracking votes and seniority, but eventually I just stopped using it. This game didn’t quite need it. @Aeternum as @BigBadBagsworth as Iggdraz the Confused @xinoehp512 as @KaladinsSenseOfHumorSpren as Lharir @CoderDrag0n8 as CD @Hoid Slayer as Ekkar Loral @ThatOneWorldhopper as As If @TwinStorm as Matrim Cauthon @KelsierApologist as Zyvoxid Linezolid @IcedOutPenguin as ___________ @The Unknown Order as D'delaier @xxGaea as Leucosia Thalassa @Doc12 as Evi @Amanuensis as Kosm @Araris Valerian as Arlun I’m okay with how this game ran, but there are significant things I would change. For one, I would have two gods give up a breath each cycle. For two, I would change all of the God’s powers. Windrunner was a anti-village ability pure and simple, and I didn’t realize that until too late to change it. Some of the others were just boring. I also had them in the wrong order. Some of them just don’t work if their seniority was too low, such as Willshaper. Additionally, I think players should have been able to deliberately change courts, so that there can be planning about how to get different people into new courts to try to control how the breath is used. And Finally, I made the Seniority system too complicated for the priests. I should have just set it as is and left it, instead of making the seniority change when players lost their god. It was predictable on my end, but I don’t think anyone realized it was changing in set ways on their end.
  14. You would think, with this much lead in, that I'd be done with the writeup by now. But I'm not. The Cycle is over! And so is the Game! I'll post it very soon!
  15. So far we're at zero votes for this. Did it get missed or does everyone want the full 48 hours to analyse whether or not Doc12 is evil? (Spoiler: He is evil, but he's not an eliminator in this game.)
  16. . . . Dustbringer is the God who would be voting with the Senior Priest. Dustbringer's power doesn't come into play, it's just that Dustbringer's vote comes into play.
  17. So, my game has 48 or less hours left. Is the plan for Aman to run the Tress LG, or is the plan something else?
  18. As If sprinted through the halls, uncaring of the startled servants who saw him. He was in the servant's quarters, taking the long way around to avoid guards and priests. He needed to reach the priest's quarters and eliminate more of their opposition before before the guards spotted him. Willshaper had declared that he would exiled, and Willshaper's words would not be naysayed. He didn't care too much about the exile, he believed in the cause. He would pay the price gladly if it meant his people's freedom. But the price would be wasted if he couldn't help before he fell. He mentally worked his way through the remaining priests in positions of authority and privilege. Evi, Kaladin's Sense of Humor Spren, Big Bad Bagsworth, and ______________. A lot of weird names honestly. Their parent's generation had strange taste. Evi was the obvious target. With Truthwatcher's blessing, there was no chance she was going to get exiled. He ducked through a laundry room and came out the other side in the hallway of the senior priests of Lightweaver. He checked both ways and saw no one. As if smoothed his robes, quieted his breathing, and hurried at a slower pace towards the bedrooms. Hopefully she was still asleep. Maybe he could just kill all of the loyal priests at once? They were all nearby, one murder spree and the gods would have no senior priests to run their courts. It was worthwhile to attempt. He started towards the quarters. He opened the door and froze. The colors in the room were bright and beautiful. The aura of a Returned. Willshaper, easily 7 feet tall and with her skin painted in red marbling, stood in the center of the room. She sighed when he opened the door. "As if I would let another of my priests die. I had hoped that you would face exile with dignity, like Arlun or CD did. But you were not present to hear the verdict." His mouth was dry. "Ah, my goddess, I'm afraid I don't understand. What verdict?" She cocked a head at him, then walked forward. "You have been found guilty of Corruption and murder As If. You were notified of your trial, were you not? Yet you did not attend." He rapidly calculated possibilities. Could he outmanuever her? Get to one of the priests? Could he turn and run? You couldn't outrun a Returned. Could he, talk his way out? No. Could he kill her? At the last moment, she lunged forward and gripped both of his arms. He yelped in pain. He hadn't even had time to make a decision. She held him tight while Timbre went to get guards to bind him. He never got the chance to kill. MR74 - C6: Pattern Cycle 6 begins! That One Worldhopper has been exiled from Hallandren on suspicion of Corruption and Murder! They were a Pahn Kahl Conspirator! It is possible for this game to end in a Tie, if, in a 1v1 situation, the villager has seniority. This would result in the Eliminator night murdering the Villager, and the Villager + Dustbringer executing the Eliminator. Lightweaver has announced that she will give up her breath this cycle! Due to player count, all remaining players are in Lightweaver's court. This means that there will be no Court doc created for Lightweaver. Lightweaver's ability could affect the game in some worlds, so Voting for Lightweaver's breath is in play. Final Vote Count: Aeternum (2): That One Worldhopper, Xinoehp512 That One Worldhopper (4): Doc12, Iced Out Penguin, Aeternum, Willshaper the Resolute Players in order of Seniority: @Doc12 as Evi @xinoehp512 as Kaladin's Sense of Humor Spren @Aeternum as Big Bad Bagsworth @IcedOutPenguin as ___________ Gods in order of Senority: Lightweaver Dustbringer Skybreaker Edgedancer Windrunner EDIT: Note that I am willing to end this game 24 hours early by unanimous vote of all surviving players.
  19. Unless I have been ninja'd by a Vote, this cycle is now over!
  20. I'm going to extend this cycle by 5 minutes, because I am also struggling with Site Lag, so just in case something important is happening, I will extend it a bit.
  21. Not Quite. The Gods vote with the Majority of their court. Seniority breaks the tie. In this case, 3 of Willshaper's priests are voting for Worldhopper, and 2 of them are voting for Aeternum. So Worldhopper's seniority doesn't matter. Willshaper votes with the three. Aeternum (2): That One Worldhopper, Xinoehp512 That One Worldhopper (4): Doc12, Iced Out Penguin, Aeternum, Willshaper the Resolute
  22. Cycle ends in half an hour btw For the new folks, there is an anti-hammering rule in effect. Votes made in the last 15 minutes of the cycle extend the cycle. The cycle will end 15 minutes after the most recent vote.)
