  1. That is, kinda correct. You might still be in Willshaper, with your two chosen companions, but you won't end up in two different courts at the same time.
  2. I'll sign up as all three of my characters. I do wonder why people aren't signing up. Is it just too complicated of a game? is it the Flavor putting people off?
  3. I think everyone now has their updated Court docs. If anyone can't speak somewhere, please tell me.
  4. Elsecaller sat with her priests, the ones she and Ivory had determined were the most Loyal to the Courts. They discussed options. They read reports. They sent missives. They noted each and every gasp and wince as the poison worked its way through her divine body. Ekkar argued long that D'delaier was the most suspicious, but Elsecaller sided with others of her court, and called for Matrim Cauthon to be exiled. She did not get her way, for Willshaper agreed with Ekkar, The Court of the Gods stripped D'Delaier of his wealth and authority, and sent him far from Hallandren. Elsecaller examined Ekkar, and thought through each and every argument he had made. Though she disagreed with his choice, she had been wrong before, as with Kabsal. "Ekkar Loral, I have decided. You will be the one to receive my Divine Breath. Come before me please. Slowly, carefully, decisively, Ekkar Loral knelt on the harsh wooden floor before the dying breaths of his Goddess, and awaited the most important command of his life. She placed both hands upon his shoulders. "Be more careful than I was. My life to yours, my Breath become yours." He felt the divine connection suffuse his body and soul, and knew that his deity was gone forevermore. :-**-: Leucosia Thalassa flowed through the halls. Her long priestly robes obscurring whatever foot movements she performed to maintain her poise and fluidity. When she had first become a priest, many had watched her with fascination, but many soon learned to do nothing more than watch. She hadn't tolerated being courted. This night, after Elsecaller's demise, she was heading down into the tunnels, to where the Lifeless armies were stored like so many discarded dolls. She was on the hunt. She was certain now that there were Pahn Kahl among the priests of Lightsong, who commanded these armies. She intended to ferret them out. She heard voices inside the bunker, and entered. She carried no light, being of a high enough heightening to be able to see by the faintest touch of light from far above. So in the darkness, she could see a lone priest walking through the ranks of lifeless by torchlight. He was stopping at each one, and speaking with them. Changing their orders? Leucosia pulled a long scarf from her robes, long enough to hang a man, and headed for the light. This traitor would die this night. Whoever they were, they didn't hear her coming. She stalked him up and down the rows, moving around and through still figures until she was close enough to strike. She flung the rope at his neck with a whisper of "Strangle things." By the sheerest of bad luck, the priest raised their hand in a yawn, and the rope wrapped around their neck and wrist, allowing them to keep breathing. They panicked and lurched away from her, but she followed, pulling out a knife to finish the job. "Cyan!" The traitor screamed. "Kill everyone but me! Cyan!" She paused, eyes flicking to each side, as abruptly a hundred lifeless surrounding her awoke, turned, and pulled out their swords. Well, this wasn't good odds. In the morning, all that was found in the hangar was a pool of blood, believed to be far too large to come from one person. Leucosia was never seen again, alive or dead. :-**-: Bondsmith had always felt a kinship with Elsecaller. One of the gods he respected the most among the Courts. He was sad to hear of her murder. He had long suspected that she had known him when he was mortal, many years ago. With her passing, he was now the seniormost of the Gods. And his dreams had been calling him away for years now. He wanted to follow her, but not yet. He couldn't leave the Courts in their current arrangement. His fellows needed to be organized against whatever conspiracy was afoot. "Tana, summon my priests. I too shall give up my breath soon, but first, the others must be taught a lesson. MR74 - C2: Tana Cycle 2 begins! 5. So this is the most recent vote before I posted, made at 1839 by my site clock. 21 minutes before the end of Cycle 1.
  6. I see Aman's vote as having happened 20 minutes pre-rollover. The window is 15 minutes. Does your computer show something different?
  7. End of Cycle 1 No More Votes after this post will be counted. Please give me 15 minutes to get Writeup finished, and then I will send out new PM's and docs and such.
  8. I do my vote counts by starting at the end of the thread and working my way to the beginning. It makes it a lot easier to catch mistakes. Araris Valerian (2): The Unknown Hammerer and IcedOut Penguin BigBadBagsworth (1): Twinstorm Doc12 (1): ThatOneWorldhopper The Unknown Hammerer (4): Araris Valerian, xxGaea, Amanuensis, and Hoid Slayer TwinStorm (3): BigBadBagsworth, CoderDrag0n8 and Doc12
  9. Half an Hour left to get votes in. Remember that your gods will be voting with you, so any Vote Count is suspect! Here is my Vote count that I think is Accurate. Araris Valerian (2): The Unknown Hammerer and IcedOut Penguin BigBadBagsworth (1): Twinstorm Doc12 (1): ThatOneWorldhopper IcedOutPenguin (1): Amanuensis The Unknown Hammerer (3): Araris Valerian, xxGaea, and Hoid Slayer TwinStorm (3): BigBadBagsworth, CoderDrag0n8 and Doc12 The Elsecallers have about Half an Hour to vote for their Recipient, and the Elims have the same time to kill. No one else needs to worry about PM actions. Remember that if someone votes when there is less than 15 minutes left in the cycle, the cycle will be extended to end in 15 from that vote. This will continue until the cycle has been extended for a maximum of 1 hour.
  10. Your vote comes through just fine. I've noted it.
  11. I have 13 players in my MR. It is likely that 2 players will die per cycle, giving my game a maximum of 10 days before it ends. Normally, i would ask about when we should start looking for the next LG to run, but, what will happen with Aman's Majoras Mask game? Do we post signups for another LG alongside that one?
  12. Hmmm, i may need to rephrase how my rules are written. If there is a tie, i will look at the voters, and find the seniormost priest among them. Their vote will be the tie breaker. That means that currently BBB will always have ties break in thier favor.
  13. Play and find out. KelsierApologist
  14. Admittedly, it has been some time since I read Warbreaker, but I think it still works, since it says most and not all.
  15. Hello everyone! This seems like the first time some of you have been in a Google Doc for SE, so I just wanted to explain a few general guidelines that most games tend to follow. This is meant to encourage people to talk, and to lower the barrier of anxiety, as well as get everyone on the same page. No one has done anything wrong. Near the top of each doc, there should be a list of names of who is in the doc. (Some GM's have people make their own list, I prefer to list exactly who is in each doc) When you enter a doc, change the color of your name. That color is what you will type in, so that everyone can quickly see who said what. Black is reserved for the Game Master. Generally, the doc will be split into sections. Try to keep your talking inside the current section. While we cannot prevent players from editing things said in previous cycle's sections, for general posterity, we try to save conversations. If there is a end of Doc line at the bottom of the doc, please do not delete or write below it. The End of Doc line is there so that people can easily hit enter to add more conversation space even while others are talking. Without this feature, it becomes far harder to write. Different people have different desires for doc set-ups. This is things like background color, line spacing, font, width, ect. While I do strongly recommend decorating your doc to make it easy to identify which doc you're in, I strongly encourage you all to listen to your Doc-mates about what they don't like. I for instance, have had to endure a games with Bright Yellow backgrounds that strain my eyes. Some people request that their doc-mates use a Dyslexia friendly font. Please just be nice to your doc mates. Thank you all for playing, and have fun.
  16. Okay, I have confirmed that everyone has received a PM, and I have double checked that the links in everyone's PM do in fact go to the correct Doc. I will be awake and available to answer questions for the next 90 minutes. Happy Hunting!
  17. Elsecaller the Careful woke up knowing deep in her lungs that she had failed her title. She sat up in her bed, took in the kneeling servants and priests and took stock of her dreams and her body. Her attendants were surprised, was that because she woke up earlier than normal, or because she woke up at all? "Tell Ivory to attend me in my chambers as he is. Waste no time." She gripped one of the bed posts and stood, feeling her body fail to immediately adjust to the new height. It was failing. It shouldn't be. She'd received a breath yesterday. She'd somehow been poisoned. "The rest of you are too gather my priests in the main hall. If they are undressed, they do not get time to dress. Prioritize everyone who was on duty yesterday." About half of her attendants, the more subservient ones, had already stood and dashed off to obey. Some of the priests and servants were more confused, or stunned, or slow on the uptake. She ignored them and strode out of the bedroom. She didn't have time to waste. :-**-: Four hours later, priest Kabsal was kneeling before her, soldiers gripping his arms and keeping him there. Elsecaller was finishing reading the report on his past while a trio of carefully vetted doctors squabbled over the blood sample they had taken from her. Ivory looked horrified. He had been her head priest for all of her Returned Life, and she had never seen him this distraught. Elsecaller glared down at the man who had poisoned her. "Kabsal, of all the staff in my court, you are the one most likely to have done this. You had access to various poisons from maintaining my experiments, and you had access to my food, as you conveniently took your lunch break just before my lunch was being served yesterday. You also apparently have large debts, that had been hidden from previous accounts. Means, Motive, Opportunity. No one else has all three. Can you refute me?" The priest spoke to the floor. "I thought I had learned sufficient carefulness from you, my lady, but I see now that I have failed your test. And so I shall die with you." Coldness spread through her at the confession. She had hoped she'd been wrong. But she had prepared and expected to be right. If only she'd been more careful before this, been this through prior to today. "Why Kabsal? Why did you poison me?" "I will not say. Whatever you do, you only have the rest of the day to do it. I think I can last a day, no matter what you put me through." Elsecaller debated. What was the best use of her time? Finding an antidote? Finding Kabsal's accomplices? There probably wasn't an antidote. Kabsal might not have accomplices in her own court, or he might. It could be white hunt. No, she was thinking about this all wrong. How could she accomplish the most goals in her time, and ensure the rest were accomplished afterward? "Ivory, gather my priests, and send invitations to the priests of Bondsmith, Stoneward, and Willshaper. Tell them I will be giving up my Breath before the day is out. I want you to watch how they make their decisions." MR74 - C1: Ivory The Game has begun! I am sending out PM's now, and will make another post when they're all out. Feel free to in thread or in doc before then tho. Please remember that I am the only one you may speak to via PM, and that you have 48 hours to decide whom to execute. 18. Yeah that tracks. The Game starts in 22 and a half Hours! Little Wilson has agreed to be our Invincible Moderator, so if @Araris Valerian still wishes to play, we will have 13 players, the unluckiest of numbers, meaning we need more players to sign up! (Joking. It doesn't matter how many we have, it will be fun no matter what.)
  19. Welcome! Noted. Wilson says she will be able to decide if she can be the IM on Monday. If she cannot, is there any other option besides you?
  20. Good question, I was wondering if that would be asked! Nope! Only the members of the court will know who they gave the breath too.
  21. Oooh! Exciting. Noted! I was! I ran for office, but then had to go inactive due to IRL things.
