Here you go EDIT: never mind. See the next post

Hoid, because Odium just really hates that guy. Who would make a better Dungeons and Dragons GM- Steris or Tuon?
-
Okay. @luckat, you’re up.
-
Elendel and Kholinar are both blue agents You guys have one more guess if you want it. Or if you're done guessing you can "pass your turn" (or just let the clock run down).
-
Yes
-
Totally! We’ll add you to the Blue Team. you can start playing immediately.
-
Okay, blue Team’s turn then: Capitals 2 Link to spreadsheet EDIT: @Jondesu @xinoehp512

The Kandra Homeland and Scadrial are both red agents. You guys have one more guess if you want it. Or if you're done guessing you can "pass your turn" (or just let the clock run down)

Okay, nobody volunteered, so as I promised I'll step up and be the Blue Spymaster. So our teams for Round 3 our as follows: Red Team Luckat (Spymaster) Rebecca Scion of the Mists Darkness Blue Team Herowannabe (Spymaster) Jondesu Xinoehp512 Totally_Not_a_Worldhopper So I'll PM @luckat and we'll get this game started! EDIT: for easy reference, here’s a link to the spreadsheet, as well as a screenshot of it:

Yeah, I was going to go with one of the Warbreaker names, but Hrathen is pretty hard to beat. Also, Szeth Son-Son-Vallano. Such a cool name- both the name itself and the naming structure.
-
Okay, getting close to starting Round 3. I have populated the grid in the spreadsheet (as always, the codenames themselves don't contain any direct spoilers anything, but following the links will lead to wiki entries that might contain spoilers for various series, including Stormlight Archive, Mistborn, Elantris, and Warbreaker). Take a look and feel free to offer suggestions before the round begins. Something new for round 3: So this round, lets make a slight alteration to the rules and play with the "Eightball" variant. If you aren't familiar with this variant, it's basically the same as the regular rules, except that after a team has located all of its agents it then has to also locate the Assassin in order to win the game. There is one slight rule change with this variant: if a team discovers the assassin but hasn't discovered all of their agents then the game does NOT immediately end. Instead, it goes into sudden death mode, and that team gets an unlimited number of guesses to try to locate the rest of their agents. If they are able to find the rest of their agents without making any mistakes then they win. If they discover an innocent bystander or an agent from the opposing team, then they immediately lose and the other team wins. Make sense? Any questions? Player List: @luckat (Red Spymaster) @Rebecca @Jondesu @Scion of the Mists @xinoehp512 @Darkness_ Me @Herowannabe We have plenty of people to start, but only 1 volunteer for spymaster so far. I'll give it another day or so, and if nobody else volunteers then I will happily do it. EDIT: FYI, I have updated the first post in this thread to include all the rules and guidelines that we have settled on over the past couple games and make it all official. Also, I have edited the second post to include quick links to the first post of each game, to make navigating the thread a bit easier.
-
Congrats red team! @xinoehp512 or @Scion of the Mists can one of you please post the key card into the spreadsheet, like I did for Round 1? Thanks. Now starting sign ups for Round 3! Remember we’ll need two people to be Spymasters, so if you’d like to volunteer that’s would be great. Everyone else will be assigned to teams based on the order they sign up. When I get some free time (@Disclaimer: it might not be until tomorrow or Sunday) I’ll get a new grid posted and get this thread updated with links and etc. tagging everyone who participated last round in case they want to join in again. @Steeldancer @Rebecca @Darkness_ @Jondesu @luckat @Herowannabe @Hemalurgic Headshot @Kered @xinoehp512 @Scion of the Mists
-
You’re welcome to join in any time. If you sign up now we’ll stick you on a team and you can start playing immediately. Or if you want to hold off, it looks like one way or another the current game will be done in a few days and then we’ll start a new round.

Kelsier Up for Adoption (Cat)-tell me what you think
Herowannabe replied to BadKitty's topic in General Discussion
Aww, perfect name! I really hope some Sanderfan out there sees his name and immediately falls in love with him and adopts him. As a tangent, I love Second Chance. I've become friends with a lady here in Salt Lake City, UT who rescues cats and turns them over to Second Chance Utah for adoption. Last week we adopted a kitten from them- she's the sweetest little thing. We're still trying to settle on a name for her, we haven't found any names that she fits like Kelsier fits his name. Maybe I'll post a pic and solicit name ideas from the shard... hmm... And as a tangent to my tangent, for any Studio Ghibli / Hayao Miyazaki / Howl's Moving Castle fans out there, I got to experience the joy in finding the perfect name for one of their other kittens a couple weeks ago. My friend rescued a tiny little long-haired orange tabby kitten and as soon as I saw him I said, "Oh, you have to name him Calcifer. It's just too perfect," and the name stuck. (for those that don't know: Calcifer is a magical talking fire in Howl's Moving Castle: Also, you should go find and watch it right now. One of the best movies of all time). -
I am also done guessing. So, @Scion of the Mists, as per our earlier guidelines that means that you can go ahead and take your turn once Lifeless is marked.
-
That’s pretty clearly “Lifeless.” Would everyone agree?
-
A). Definitely A). My first attempt at Alcatraz stopped after book 1, though that was in large part because I listen to audiobooks and the Narrator’s voice didn’t rub me the right way the first time through. Not really sure why, it doesn’t bother me now. But then Audible was doing a big 2 for 1 sale that included all of the Alactraz books that had been published by that point, so I gave it another chance and loved it. So funny and epic in they way that Brandon pulls off so well!
-
Mistborn is next? Sweet! I just finished A reread of the whole series up through Bands of Mourning. Can’t wait for the Lost Metal.
-
Sweet, it’s nice to know that we as the red team don’t have to waste a guess on Szeth for “Stormlight.” looking over the rest of the codenames, I don’t see any more that might relate to Stormlight (mayyyyyybe Kalak, but that’s stretching it), so we must have already picked up the second one, probably with “Spren.”
-
Someone updated the spreadsheet- I’m assuming it was Xino. Re-Shephir and Spren were blue agents, Honor was an innocent bystander, so we might still have one more “Stormlight” agent out there, if Spren wasn’t it. @Scion of the Mists your turn.
-
Yeah, Re-Shephir and Spren are the logical choices for “Unmade.” Szeth is another possibility for Stormlight, but I’m happy with Honor as a guess. Shall we make these guesses official?
-
@xinoehp512 are you around?
-
Yep, what @CrazyRioter said. How many stories are there where the main character goes and gets special permission to train with the greatest warriors in the world, even though he’s an outsider? So many stories...
-
@xinoehp512 @Scion of the Mists I see one of you marked our Highstorm guess earlier today, sometime before we made our second guess, so we’re just waiting to see if Lift is blue team or not. And then Scion, you’re up.
-
They’re both sorta related to Stormlight, but with only two choices that relate to the clue, I think we need to go with one of the more likely ones. And only about an hour and a half left. I’ll hold off for a little bit in case anyone wants to make any last minute arguments, but then I’m going to officially guess Lift, since she’s the only one that has gotten support from more than one player. EDIT: okay then. Lift.
