I think Mraize mentioned at the end of WoR that they wouldn't have found her out if Shallan hadn't had to reveal her powers, so it's unlikely they figured it out so early.

Wit and Jasnah's trip together. Although I think he didn't show that because it would give us too much information that he wants to reveal later on.

Doesn't the person have to recognise the metalmind? In BoM, the main characters are holding metalminds like Kelsier's coin and the Bands of Mourning themselves but they can't access the power until they realise what it is.

Despite all the criticism, I think it may be my favourite book so far. The Amaram arc was a bit awkward and the Shadesmar trip was a little long, but the incredible scenes easily made up for it. The other major criticisms I see here didn't bother me too much (Sadeas' murder not amounting to much and the love triangle). I think Oathbringer was a little less "polished" than the other books, but for me it was the most emotionally charged one yet. That's what counts in my eyes.

Wasn't Kalak at Gavilar's assassination with Nale? I mean I'm not sure if it supports or denies the theory since I don't have the book on me but I guess it's something to think about. Particularly regarding Roshone's past with the Kholins.

I always though she would become an Atium misting. I mean the next book is called the lost metal, and we need someone who can use it. Also, Steris was captured in the first book because she was believed to be an Allomance,which strikes me as foreshadowing.

I loved the part where Navani was getting lectured by her, and how it seemed to be a very common occurence.

I don't think Kaladin will become a Herald, but if he does it would be an insane way to end Book 5, with him being sent off to get tortured. Then he breaks after the gap between book 5 and 6 I guess. I still don't buy it though, I think Moash is like a corrupted Herald now.
