    It seems right to me too. I think where you go wrong is how it got started. I think it might have been something like a knowledgeable magician/con man describing what would happen in detail, and so everyone expected it, so it happened.

    Thanks! That's really helpful. Also, I just realized that I went the wrong way with GMT, so I'll try again later today.

    I'm about to start another one, which will hopefully be better than last year's NaNo. I'm excited because my magic system is neat! (It's kind of like allomancy based on stone, except with 3's instead of 4's).
