I swear there's a WoB on it, but suddenly I can't find it. I fail Edit: Ah, found it. I somehow managed to lose all of Luke's questions from the Dayton signing. They've been re-added now

Crazy Theory-Odiums Victory and Series Future
RShara replied to Zionite's topic in Stormlight Archive
I don't know that they'll be on Braize, but I posted in the WoR forum that I have a suspicion that Odium will win at the end of the 5th book and 6-10 will be fighting back. Viva le Revolution! -
TomR: Argent was referring to using AonTia to travel. You're right, the Cognitive Realm shouldn't take nearly as long.

My 4-month-old would attract a lot of cryspren and FEED-ME-NOW-spren

Okay, so we've got Aharietam, then Recreance, then Honor's splintering. Got it.
-
We know for sure that the Oathpact involved only the Heralds and Honor. After most of them broke their side of the pact, though, it wouldn't surprise me if they were then open to Odium's influence and are really working for him now. I would really love to get a History of Roshar timeline, along with a History of the Cosmere timeline Even if it's mostly guesses, it'd be nice to know what order things happened in.
-
Why would Wyndle refer to her bonded as He, with a capital letter, though? I'm not sure the spren respect most individuals enough to give them honorifics.
-
Aon Tia wouldn't work to travel back, because it gets weaker the farther from Elantris. He's most likely using the Shardpools, such as the one that's in the hills above Elantris
-
Lift is 13 and she's been cracked enough to bond, and recover, so it's not too difficult to imagine Shallan doing the same a young age.

I know he's a big fan of Melanie Rawn, who does mass kill-offs at the conclusion of various story arcs. I really hope he doesn't do that though. Killing off a character because just he's "done" with them is sorta annoying, and gets repetitive after a while.

Thank you I like listening to the signings while I'm working, they're more entertaining than music Gimme more!

I'm in agreement with you here. I think there's something definitely odd going on with the spren.

[Theory]The Cognitive Realm and it's appearance.
RShara replied to Windborne Sword's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I wonder if land is water in the Cognitive Realm for every planet...and if it is, is it because when they look at land, they see all these different objects (rocks, leaves, STICKS), while when they look at water, they see..."water," so it's a single thing... *gets confused*- 27 replies

Investiture across the Cosmere (WoR spoilers)
RShara replied to darniil's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I suspect that Yolen DNA is kind of an archtype DNA, that has the *potential* to hold any of the other magic systems. So he could use Breath, and anything else that doesn't require a specific bond/add-on power. -
I'm starting to wonder if one of the Heralds will end up being Odium's champion. Nale seems to be heading in that direction. Honor's champion I think needs to be someone who can fight really well, so that would be Kaladin. I also have this sneaking suspicion that Odium will "win" in book 5, and books 6-10 will be the survivors trying to fight back.

Weiry, sorry, was there supposed to be a link there?

I think what was meant by that is similar to what happens to a Savant--it messes with their sDNA to the point where the effects are enhanced and permanent. So a Stormlight addict might not be able to sit still can't stop feeding off of Stormlight. I don't think Szeth is emotionless either. Kind of the opposite, really. Brandon's really good at showing-not-telling so I can't point to specific phrases very easily, but here are a couple from the conversation with Nale. He's still feeling tormented and tortured and guilty. For Nale's lack of emotion, I'm not entirely sure what's going on. It does seem like something supernatural is happening with him though. I'm evolving a theory that the Heralds are now champions of Odium, which is why they're all opposites or corrupt versions of what they used to stand for.

Updated several posts with questions and interviews that I missed.

Off topic, sorry....if HoA took place 250 yrs before WoK, then how is Demoux wandering around the Purelake? Edit: Also is there a Cosmere timeline about somewhere? I can't keep these dates straight.

boredomspren, exhaustionspren, the occasional painspren and the unfortunately-not-so-rare wtfspren I think describe my usual day! Although I do get quite a bit of lolspren and awespren from this site

But presumably (I know, that's a bad word!) the Nightwatcher/Cultivation wouldn't want Odium to win either...
