  1. I have some signed, but none personalized, In person: A Memory of Light From his website: Emperor's Soul, Firstborn/Defending Elysium, Way of Kings Website (numbered): Legion Skin Deep - 1449/2500, Shadows Beneath - 40/200 Also, as far as collectibles go, I have one of the Szeth die cut cards. EDIT: Forgot about WoK
  2. Alcatraz 4 had possibly one of my favorite jokes I've seen in a novel. I don't know the exact quote, but: Also, I don't remember which book the "path of yeast resistance showed up"; I think it was two or three, but that's another one of my favorites from the series.
  3. I don't know any Words of Brandon about it, but according to this: (http://encyclopaedia-wot.org/history/timeline.html) it takes place over about two years.
  4. Sorry Elantris, but I'm throwing you under the bus. It's his first one and he's only been getting better since (in my opinion), so logic says it'll be the worst. However, it seems to me like Elantris sometimes gets a worse rep than it deserves, just because out of what I've seen most people think it's the worst one. It feels like there can be a little bit of confirmation bias where people have heard it's the first and less polished so they notice flaws more and are less forgiving than they would be, it's sort of an Art and Expectation type thing. Or at least that's my armchair interpretation. So, I still really like it the whole concept is really cool and I thought the ending went down really well. And I found Raoden's optimism and determination very compelling. Yes, the writing wasn't as good, Raoden and Sarene needed more character arc, and the triad structure was a mistake. But it's not like he made any amateur mistakes, and he still had lots of complex ideas and behind the scenes speculation for the magic system and cosmere things just the same as in his other books. All in all, it's a gold ingot in a mound of atium.
  5. Fabrialpunk could be it's own genre
  6. Harvested hen nest But what Cosmere related phrase does "Fuming Barons Nod" anagram to?
  7. While Peter said that the Alloy books should be considered main Cosmere books, I don't think he meant in the same sense as the large sequence. They're just more like the warbreaker or elantris series. In fact, if we're going really main I think it's only the final mistborn trilogy that counts.
  8. There's also Knoxx, the shape shifting epic David fought. One of Newton's gang, mostly took the form of a pigeon, wasn't around long enough (i think) to get a real epic name.
  9. It means Read And Find Out, used for questions he's not ready to give answers for. It was originally used by Robert Jordan.
  10. Okay, I have confirmed that ages given in the books were given in Rosharan years and not "translated" already.
  11. Well, Brandon also views his books as translations, so their ages could also have been translated into earth years for our convenience. But that could also lead to all sorts of confusing
