Why use McBaine when I can spread pony beyond the social forum?
-
Yeah... afraid I have to disagree with everyone else and shoot you down, Delightful. It just seems too fantastical to be true. I mean... Jezrien has a beard. And Brandon doesn't. Check your facts better next time.

Honestly... I liked the rebooted series, but never thought they really went far enough with it. As dark and depressing as it was... I found myself wishing they went even darker, really showing the paranoia, the rampant and growing unhealthiness of the situation, the problem of starvation, government, etcetera... Yes, they were all things that happened or got touched on but... I wanted more of it. I wanted characters to end up asking themselves whether the voyage to Earth was even worth it. ...And hoenstly, I really like Caprica. Granted, that might be because I DVR'd them and watched them in a single burn, so the slower pace didn't really bother me so much... but I loved the world building in that show. It had a sense of confidence in how different it was from mainstream society that I really enjoyed.

I call shenanigans! Not only have I never heard of 'Arsenal of Diplomacy', I wouldn't know a ponified image if it did appear! Still, this one popped up when I asked google, so I guess Ill submit it for review? This claims to be the main character of xenoblade ponified: And this was the best match I could find for pony titanfall: ...But the obscurity of these franchises may be starting to drain even my reserve of pony pictures.

Yeeeeeeeessss... War breakers status as best Cosmere continues to grow! Soon, it's fans shall be legion, and we will flood this forum with our lifeless armies! ...I mean, welcome.

Jar Jar gave Palpatine emergency powers during Attack of the Clones.Honestly, I find it a little unfair to compare Revenge to those other two... things. I'm not a big Star Wars fan, and even if I was, Revenge of the Sith has huge problems with it... But I honestly enjoyed it, despite that. I think it's the second best film in the series, next to Empire. And QC, actually agreeing with the Scholar?

Meet Littlepip. Now, you may not rcognise her from the show. That's because she's not in the show. Little Pip is the lead character of a very long and, by all accounts, critically acclaimed piece of fan fiction, where she tatempts to survive in an Equestria which has been rendered to an almost inhospitable wasteland thanks to a war between two nations. The name of the story?

Hmm. I wonder what kind of impact Sureblood dying us going to have on Adolins progress. It just occurred to me that the Rhyshadium kind of remind me of the Dire Wolves of A Song of Ice and Fire... and they always seemed to reflect their masters person as, to the point that losing Lady had zoned and Cat worried about what might happen her. I wonder if the same will happen with Adolins- that during the next book, he's going to try and procure another Rhyshadium, but find that none will accept him as a rider because of the Sadeas affair.

What the above two said... though I feel I need to point out that the rhyme predates the character. It's actually a traditional nursery rhyme, dating back to the 1800's, at least according to wikipedia. And we all know how reliable that is, right?

You know, I think the funniest thing about that video is that it's exactly how I thought a female Doctor should be brought into the show; the first regeneration following their final death.

Nobles of Equestria Intervening to Grant Herds Safety. It's a better name than Equestria + Avengers. And...you know, I was going to post a crazy twilight picture, but... I'm gonna be a little serious about it. I like the show. But it's the fandom that I really love, the art, the fan fiction, the community. Yes, there are some dark sides to it; a...really dark side. But that's not what I like to focus on. I prefer to focus on the love and tolerance side of it. Of the fact that this is a fandom which took a background pony, an animation error, and not only embraced her, but gave her a life, a family, and responded to people trying to 'fix' her with outrage. Derpy Hooves has got to be one of the most memetic creations in fiction, and there's a reason she's one of my favourite ponies, despite having had less than a page of dialogue. I like the fact that this fandom doesn't just seem tolerant of LBGT, but outright embraces it. It's a kids show, so it's never going to get referenced on-air...but for a lot of the fans, the One True Pairing, the true love ship of MLP...is a lesbian one. There's Fanon suggesting other characters are gay, lesbian, asexual, pan sexual, transsexual, and everything in between. I like the fact that this show has broken down differences between boy and girl media, because quite frankly, I don't think I've ever related to a cartoon shows cast the way I do with the cast of Friendship is Magic. I like the fact that, for whatever reason, this series has lit my imagination like no other, including Brandon's. While I do have some ideas for cosmere fan fictions! I have easily a dozen ideas for MLP ones that I want to write. Something about this series, the energy of the fans around it and the volume of work, really captures the spark of imagination. And I like the fact that, whenever I feel sad, watching an episode of the pastel-horses, or reading a comic if them, or whatever, makes me smile.

Twilight Nick Fury. I admit it doesn't fit though. I prefer to think of Equestria SHIELD this way: Now, that kind of implies Twilight is Equetrvenvers Phil Coulson which means she'll die... but that's fine. She'll get a spin off show where she puts together a dysfunctional team and teaches them all about the magic of friendship. What can I say? I get crazy obsessive over things.

Double post, because this is important: baba jig is offering mantras for jobs. Mantras are words. 'Knight Radiant' is a job description. Baba jig has discovered the most important words a man can say!

I'll let that speak for itself.

Oh, so it's Avengers we're going for now? Sure. I can play that game.

With regards the Master... I have a story I would love to see happen. I doubt it ever will, of course... but I've been thinking that it would be a very cool situation if the Doctor restores Gallifrey, goes to meet his people, the High Council assures him they locked away/whatever Rassillion, and he is taken to mee the new leader. And sitting in the chair is the new High Lord President of Gallifrey: The Master.

Smith lasted about as long as Tenant did. Granted, Ten had an extra year squeezed out with his 'specials', but still; each of them racked up three seasons apiece, which isn't bad. I mean... it's nothing compared to Bakers run, but it's still more than Colin, McCoy and McGann had... I KNOW, RIGHT? I mean.. I'm not sure what villain you could do it from the PoV of. I imagine an episode almost entirely composed of EX-TER-MIN-ATE voices would get... annoying... but I still love the idea of an episode where what is usually the heroic turnaround is the side we're watching getting beaten. And it would be cool to see how other species view the Doctor, since they don't get to see the same foppish, goofy behavior that the audience sometimes does; they just get the epic Pandorica speeches and threats to their existence.

Hey, I already started one thread for a rebooted science fiction show, right? Might as well go the whole nine yards. Anyone here a fan of BSG, whether it's the classic version or the Moore Reboot?
-
Wow, I really feel behind on this one... Maybe too far behind. I can try and flub my way through it, but having my character suddenly remember "Oh, that's right, I'm in a room with these crazy people" might be a bit... odd. So, I thought I'd throw the question out; do you guys a) want me to jump back in and b)if I do, would you prefer if I just created a new, more active character.
-
I recognize that! The Gunslinger, Jake Chambers Oh, and good duel you guys. Ought to say something remotely on topic, even if it is... out-of-character.
-
But I was promised cake! I can't believe you did that to me! I feel so... so... betrayed! ...So that's what that feels like.
-
Cake? Hardly sounds like a proper Dothraki wedding.
