I agree. If all the Radiants were as broken as Kaladin and Shallan, Urithiru would have been a giant psych ward

[OB] Full Book Reactions / Full Spoilers Thread

Really surprised that the Heralds know Midius by name. Now that he is a soul caster. Does this mean that he no longer needs to ride perpendicularities to access the Cognitive realm? Im also surprised that Odium seems to have far less control of his practicioners than Ruin did. -
rust. Looks like I need to start my reread...

I wasn't expecting Vivienna. That confrontation was amazing! -
Wait that wasn't a reference to the Horneaters worshiping him as the god of trickery?

Who in damnation thought it was a good idea to release Oathbringer and deadhouse landing on the same day?
-
Earliest I've ever got it was a week before release, but was cuz I worked at Barnes and Noble at the time. Good luck!

Those Shallan chapters were great. It's really interesting to see that Veil is closer to her true personality than Shallan. So were unmade spren that odium corrupted or did he create them?

Ya especially when you've been on the forum for nearly 7 years. also to the Dalinar points, the more I think about it, the more it's safe to say that Mr. And Dalinar will be allies. I know it goes against the grain of everything that has transpired, but as high king he no longer has authority over his home country. I think it would be a great twist if Elhokar actually became strong enough to unify the country, which would lead Mr. T to actually trying to assassinate him.

As usual chapters were great. There were a few formatting issues with the text that I assume will be fixed. I now really want Kal and Shallan to get to get together so Syl and Pattern can cheer them on. I am very interested to see what Mr. T does. His notes said that the blackthorn could be a great ally if he chose the path of the warlord. Becoming High King of Uthiriru might be enough to satisfy that requirement for the time being and Dalinar believes in Nohadon's idea of forcing the people to behave. It's not too far to force them to fight the desolation. Really hope Mr. T becomes an ally.

Really glad there was a Kaladin chapter. I don't think I would have been able to handle waiting another week to resolve punching Roshone. The Kaladin and Laral reunion was poorly handled but that's Kal's mo by this point so I shouldn't be surprised. Why haven't we been introduced to Mara yet? Kal mentions that she was in the other room, so he has to have seen her. She got a name so I thought she would have more impact. Also where are Gaz and the rest of Shallan's soldiers?

I hate mobile websites. Is there any way you can restore my ability to access the desktop version from my phone? Most sites I can request the desktop site, but I can here. Any way you could help chaos? Issues include lack of functionality, including the removal of the question when you try to enter the protected forums for unpublished works. Only the answer box shows up.

Will Kelsier Show up in the second Mistborn Trilogy

dam this be some mean necromancy -
I always imagined that Blain and David went to the bank that day and Deathpoint showed up. Blain hadnt told anyone about his powers yet and wasnt in complete control of them. Blain went to stop him, and David along with a bunch of other people were killed.

No, the roots held up the buildings even after the water receded.

I think an Atium enhanced Lord Ruler could catch Obliteration mid teleport, like how Megan kills Fortuity.

Around the Cosmere: Theories and Coppermind
lordofsoup commented on Zas678's article in Columns and Features
I dont like to disagree with Brandon, but the 2x and 3x pewter strength thing seems a little off to me. I always thought that durability was the most important aspect of pewter, the ability for Thugs to fight through wounds that would have killed normal men.- 12 comments

At least we will get the first part of White Sand this summer.

I loved it, but the ending was a bit abrupt for me. I would have liked to see a more substantial conclusion, though I guess it is okay because David is now an invincible god. I still would have liked to find out what happens to the characters, even 1 sentence. David and Megan get married and have 9 children. Megan brings Fireflight's Tia over to spend time with the Prof. Cody gets kidnapped by leprechauns. I understand why there is no conclusion for the Cosmere because each book has implications beyond its own, but I thought the Reckoners was only going to be a 3 book series. I wouldnt be opposed to some more, especially if Brandon takes a break from writing to write another book.

Not sure if this was intentional or not, but Isaac $tewart in the appendix does not seem correct

[Secret History Spoilers] - Inquisitor Funeral Question

But that doesnt explain why Raoden's body didnt heal after entering the shard pool. It seems more likely to just destroy anything that doesnt have enough Investiture to pass through it. -
Why doesnt Wax recognize Hoid when he shows up in the garden. Its not a common name. Surely he remembers the name of his former coachman.
