Got Redshirt (he's going to be Paradox's sidekick in Salem) a profile pic. Fits him perfectly. He's basically the worst Epic for an arena fight in most cases - he has lost 87.5 times in a row, and the half loss was only because his opponent felt bad for him and just allowed him to surrender before the match.

Jumpdrive's mobile buzzed as he steered his toy helicopters into place. One watched the mass of once-Gunsmoke, the other watching the fields and the demons there. Why do my cameras keep getting busted? he asked, watching as one of the ground cameras in the field was smashed by a crazed worker. Jumpdrive glanced down at the text - "Thank you for the information Jumpdrive. This is Queen Blossom. Are our surveillance cameras set up with thermal imaging?" - from Queen Blossom. Texting back a quick, "Not yet, excepting a few in key locations - Rainmaker's office, my office, and a few particular cells, and one I set up watching that energy Epic," Jumpdrive smiled as he thought of the nice new cameras with thermal and ultrasonic lenses he'd be getting from Knighthawk soon. He began tinkering with a few data tables, trying to identify where the Epic who'd caused this came from. The cameras had seen workers, mutated ones, charge from the van, one in particular who could change the vanillas to beasts, but there didn't seem to be any faces his recognition software identified. Downloading the owner's manual for some new camera mounts and a cool new helicopter, Jumpdrive look for a DVD to insert into one of the computers. How about, um, the second Avengers movie? It's got so many awesome things. He sat down and began to play the video, barely paying attention to the ensuing chaos.

On what planet have we seen Frost? A recent WOB states the quote below, and we know that Frost is from Yolen. This thread discusses whether Braize may be Yolen. However, my biggest question is: the WOB implies that we have seen Frost on his home planet. If anyone has a character they want to fight Paradox and Redshirt in Salem in a powered, spacial and gravity distorted fight, I have ideas of what I want to go on for those two. If anyone on this RP was to actually become an Epic, not only would he/she know how to best use their abilities, but would also probably hunt the rest of us down. I feel like this RP would be the start of the Reckoners.

Paradox held the vanilla still, motionless, thinking on what he'd been told. Salem, an arena for Epics to prove themselves masters of the Epic Race. He removed his hand from the vanilla, who resumed breathing, pulse starting once more. "Where is Salem?" "That way," the vanilla whispered, pointing to the north west, "but it is days away." Paradox smirked. Days to travel nowhere? Everything is but a step away. Paradox stepped, distance contracting to an infinitely small point. He stopped on the outskirts of a town, reading the signs. Salt Lake. No, Salem was in Oregon, was it not? Paradox stepped again. Salem, read the once green sign, 20 mi. Paradox stepped again, moving until he was standing on the city limits. A patrolman stepped up to him, a confused look on his face. Paradox stopped him, the man freezing, not moving in the least. His partner pulled out a gun, arm quivering as he pointed it at Paradox. The Epic laughed, then started, moving a few feet closer suddenly. The unfrozen police fired in fright, the bullet speeding toward Paradox. And then it slowed down. And slowed some more. And more and more and more and more and more, slowing until it hovered, moving less than a nanometer at a time, but inching its way to Paradox. It would hit him, he knew, when time ended. When eternity was now and then and always the same. But not now. Smiling, he lifted the still-frozen human into the bullet's path. He frowned. No, this was not the way to do it. He tapped the man to the right, then moved out of the way of the bullet, releasing the man once more. The bullet suddenly moved, speeding at its original velocity, grazing the patrolman's face, leaving a trickle of blood under his left eye. "Wear that scar with pride, my young friend," Paradox intoned reverently, "for you have survived an encounter with eternity itself. Tell me something.
