    I believe that is with Elendel having 5 million people in it. And I forgot to move the decimal for the percentage point, so 1750 Compounders. Apologies. Environmental factors actually referred to being able to buy metals (bendalloy is noted for being expensive), Compounders dying, and narrowing those to the crazies who would test it out to figure out compounding on accident, or even on purpose.

    It wasn't as big a deal when I brought it up a while ago. Hmm. Well, to quote myself (wow, that sounds very cocky)- spoilered for length : I personally believe it is fully possible. As Oudeios said, think of the percentage of Allomancers - say a high number like 10%. Then Feruchemists: lower, so 7.5%. I think both of those are high, but they will still serve. Then, of those Metalborn, .75% should be Twinborn, roughly. And of those Twinborn, 0.047% would be Compounders. Duralumin, Aluminum, Gold and sort of Electrum seem useless to most people. Thus, 0.035% of all the population would even be able to usefully Compound. Then add in economic requirements for buying metal, mortality rates, and whatever quirks (I think the above proposed swallowing/burning as you store to be a great idea) to narrow down this percentage even more. Even at .035%, you have maybe a hundred thousand Compounders at any one time, minus the percentage of people in the village. With environmental factors, I think it rare for a Compounder to even be able to do so even with that knowledge, and without it, the percentage of people who would, for instance, swallow their metal, burn it, and try to store this power is ridiculous.

    Autonomy is clearly a stand-alone dessert - I was thinking a candy desert, made from crushed graham crackers, candy cacti with Hemalurgic pins, and maybe a miniaturized camel or two from Alley 14. The better question is, what adjectives describe him/her? Simple. Imaginary plastic bags. With blindfolds. Pesky potatoes and their eyes. You just have to solve a 3 dimensional equation for space, one dimension adding in imaginary numbers, and a fifth for time of holding. Something like... y=3exit+z^2 where y is in meters squared, x is in feet, z is in cubits (determinate upon the viewer's forearm and hand length) and t is in seconds. Also, you have to duct tape the 3 exits shut and color in the z-square with orange crayons. Aon Vitamins, guaranteed (according to disclaimer) to boost Investiture, burn calories, and maybe even change your appearance, perhaps? Which one? The one we made in this timeline, or the other one in last week's deleted Tuesday?

    Injury attraction and regeneration: anything that plausibly could hit him will, and any other injury near him will affect him instead of the injuree. Ex. You fire a gun at Bob, standing next to Redshirt. You will miss and hit Redshirt. You stab Bob with a knife deliberately. When pulled out, the knife leaves no mark on Bob, but you just stabbed Redshirt without touching him. Then he regenerates, very quickly, from pretty much anything. It just hurts a whole heck of a lot. And he is in Salem, where fighting is your path to glory.

    Hey, I'm 50/50! Club of two and a half.I call the award for "most creatively copied from Voidus". Jumpdrive came from that Epic doc list, Paradox was a result of a comment on Voidus's AMA, he has a purple Phoenix, and... Redshirt came out of a PM where Voidus and I discussed Paradox's upcoming fight. Yep, creatively stole all of them.

    Xanas smiles and opens the multidimensional shift that results in the Dark Alley moving half a step left in the complex plane. Then proceeds to move sideways as relates to vertical time. Then backwards along a Investiturial axis in 6-dimensional space. Then up. Twice. He knocks on the door nearby, opens it and hands the God Beyond a thank you note for the Recipe Beyond for the Cookies Beyond. Then hands one to Mailliw. "Thanks for the directions tomorrow! We'll stop tracking you before then, at least until time in the local area proceeds linearly. The loop the loops of time-space continuum are awful for headaches. I woke up from storing Cadmium!"

    I am an (E/I)NT(J/P). I got almost perfectly centered extro- and introversion, and different tests swap me between Judging and Perceiving. So I am either the Joker, Gandalf, Lex Luthor, or Einstein. That narrow it down a bit. I bet Brandon just said that to laugh when we see that Tia dies without revealing important information.

    The thing is, he is facing his fear, but only in respect to his dad. He still kills every other person with Alzheimer's he can find. And he is awful at killing. To quote a PM, "His Rending was absolutely pathetic - he started absorbing data from everything around him and fumbled with a gun he stole. He's an awful shot, so he only managed to even injure one person before he was locked in a room. He couldn't get out." I want his second rending to be emotional trauma he has never faced before, especially not with powers. It's more like Prof's thing at the end of Firefight, but less powerful (obviously) and triggering his powers to boosted levels he didn't realize he had before. Edit: Twi, added you to PM that explains this.

    So thinking about Jumpdrive's powers, I have a problem. What if he falls from a great height? Option 1: The ground would cause his injury, so it would be turned to data. Unfortunately, this would punch holes through the earth until Jumpdrive had settled in the center of the earth. If he stopped. Option 2: He absorbs the gravitational energy, thereby stopping at the ground. This opens a whole can of worms on his ability to absorb forces, ideas, and concepts. I mean, this would be absorbing kinetic motion of a bullet instead of the bullet itself, which was clearly my idea of his power set. Option 3: He somehow absorbs the gravitons that are causing the gravitational distortion. Unfortunately, this is theoretical science, and I don't want to mess with theoretical physics. Also has the whole problem of absorbing motion vs. absorbing gravitons. Also, I wanted to make him semi-redeemed, because he has visits with his father, who triggers his weakness, but do we know if that just makes him immune to corruption (evidenced by Firefight), removes the weakness (Conflux sort of, but unconfirmed in book), and if these changes are permanent. I want him to have a second rending, you see.

    Xanas 2 watched his counterpart. Apparently, only one string's Xanas could exist physically at any time, and Xanas 2 was not it at the moment. It had been hard to splice his soul with himself; only with Fatebreaker's spike had he been able to spike out his own Essence and graft it on to a different timeline self, before his own timeline was dissolved. You could say Xanas 1 was the scientist, prodding at variables, experimenting. Xanas 2 was the observer, making notes, watching, calculating. The Sproing Spike seemed to have finally separated Winter and the wolf temporarily, allowing one to be worked on without affecting the other. Xanas 2 imagined a Cognitive bead to be a taco, and ate it. It wasn't real, but it was the thought that counts.

    Xanas looked at the potato and placed it in a temporal-spatial loop. "I was needing a new alarm clock." He smiled at Winter, then held up a thin metal spike coiled in on itself like a doorstop. He flicked it and it vibrated, seemingly in two places at once. Then he rammed the still-bouncing spike into her Spiritual Aspect, directly between the wolf stapled on and her soul. "Then he flicked it again. The girl's form vibrated along the spike, splitting into two afterimages, one morphing into a wolf's ghostly form, the other her regular self, albeit a bit indistinct and ghostly. He inspected each individually, making notes on the new wolf.
