  1. "Wanting of the signing and playing. Probably confusing of the tongue." said Sart, who was sure he would regret the decision of playing in High Imperial
  2. Hmm... well, the Aonar lynch puttered out. However, I think I have a better candidate for a lynch. Kynedath. Now I know what you're saying, Kynedath is inactive. I was thinking the same thing too, until I checked the Mid-Range game. He's been posting there, and yet remains strangely quiet in this game. I'm paranoid of that. Several players have stated that he is inactive, so if he's Hoid or 17th Shard, we should have a good suspect pool to draw on. I know this isn't the greatest evidence, but I want to hear from him at the very least.
  3. I agree with Arinian. A PM between a Diagrammist and you isn't proof. I'm a Ghostblood. Link Silver and me together for votes. I'm paranoid that the Sons of Honor will fake the PM, and work on the other goal.
  4. I'm going to post a list of who is active, and who isn't. At this point, we need all the help we can get, and I'm going to die in a turn, so... Haven't been on this year: @Darkness Ascendant @Zephrer Didn't vote last cycle, but have been on the Shard: @Assassin in Burgundy @Kynedath @Straw @The Young Bard @RubiksCube @DroughtBringer @Aonar Faileas @Kasimir Voted last cycle (I'm mentioning you anyways because why not): @Master Elodin @Doc12 @Alvron @Dalinar Kholin @I_am_a_Stick @Araris Valerian @Arinian @Sart @Elenion We aren't having a problem with inactivity. We are having a problem with lurking. I mean honestly, 8 players not placing a vote last cycle? I suppose I could go back and see if they bothered to post, but that's not the issue. We need people to vote, in order to gain suspicions. We need people to vote, in order to actually play this game. Sure, you can call lurking a strategy, but it's a strategy that is harming the game we are playing. We had only 6 responses in last night's thread. That's pathetic. I agree with Arinian on this one. Aonar, why haven't you voted? You've clearly been keeping track of things, since you posted on Day 5. But this is what you posted?! You're completely neutral on everyone... Nothing else is going to happen unless you make it happen. Place a vote, see what happens. Maybe you'll get stronger feelings when they defend themselves. Don't just post that you don't have any suspicions! That's just leads to less suspicions, which leads to less activity, which leads to less fun.
  5. I think I speak with everyone that the world PMs are dead. Unfortunately, world hopping is a day-action, not a night action, so we can't do anything about it tonight. However, we need to do something about this. Games are more active when we have people in PMs to talk to. If anyone wants to talk, I'm currently located on Threnody. Hoepfully, we can get a conversation started, instead of having a bunch of inactivity.
  6. Well, that is very important to kill. Joe Drought Also, to those Sons of Honor thinking about allying with the Diagrammists, remember this. It is not people still standing that determines the secondary win con. Rather, it is number of Radiants still standing. You already know one of our Radiants, which puts us at a disadvantage. If you have an Elsecaller, that will be a huge advantage in this fight. Regardless of what happens, the Diagrammists must die. If we do not focus on them, their persistent kill will overwhelm our numbers.
  7. Well, this is awkward. I am a Ghostblood, so I suspect the person who changed a vote on me is also a Ghostblood. If that is the case, then we have control of the lynch, even if the Sons of Honor and Diagrammists work together. That is a thing. We still have a cook as well, which means, even if the Honor cook is still alive, we will be killing at an equal rate. Of course, there's still the possibility that Arinian and Joe are doing some crazy gambit. So, I will retract my vote on Arinian, and place a vote on Joe. Let's see if they are actually telling the truth.
  8. That would be lucky if true... GM, do the Diagrammists know who the other Diagrammists are to start with, or is there only one Commander that knows the other Diagrammists?
  9. Well, I'm flattered I was saved. I was a bit busy yesterday so I didn't see the other votes against me. Also, Arinian, what? Are you telling me you intercepted a Diagrammist PM? I suppose it is possible, but that seems highly unlikely. Well, only one way to know for sure. Arinian, I hope you don't mind being a martyr for the cause. If your role matches, then we have our Diagrammists. If not, then you were trying to help your faction.
  10. Where's a bloody vote tally when you need one? Vote Count: Elenion (4): Magestar, Doc, Araris, Arinian Magestar (1): Arinian, Elodin, Arinian Araris (1): Alvron I'm not sure I understand the votes on Elenion. The main suspicious point I see is his insistence that Odium was using random chance to kill shards. That seemed like a stretch. However, his logic actually managed to lynch Odium. I'm not sure whether that is a point in his favor or not. The logic still doesn't hold water. The new explanation is that Lopen was using his conversion as a rudimentary scan. That makes more sense to me. However, I think Elenion was trying to give a reason for us to kill Lopen. Since Hoid starts out with a list of Shards, the 17th Shard would have a narrow list for people who could have started holding Odium. Thus, he created an excuse to kill Lopen, knowing that Lopen started with a Shard. Even if his hunch that Lopen was Odium was wrong, the 17th Shard would still have killed an active player. Therefore, I will place my vote on Elenion.
  11. You're right. It was filler. I'm not sure how active I'm going to be in this game, so I wanted to make sure that I posted something. I figured asking a new player to post would be a good idea, and I attached a vote to make sure it had some weight. I also asked for a clarification from the GMs. What else would you want from a first post?
  12. Another game, another poke vote. Berenion @Berenion Please respond to the thread about any questions you have. Speaking of questions, communication is limited by PMs this game. We can create one each cycle, but how long do the PMs last. Do they end at the end of the day, or do they last for the remainder of the game?
  13. I think you're misreading that. Hoid has to outnumber all other factions. It doesn't matter if people are on Autonomy's side or not. If they aren't in the 17th shard, Hoid is against them. You are right that Hoid has a limited number of conversions though. At a certain point, he will run out of gas. However, it's likely that he will save a conversion as a defense against trust groups. That makes our lives a little bit easier, as we hopefully won't have to worry about a night kill unless he converts a vigilante. ...and ninja'd
  14. Oh... I misunderstood how Autonomy worked. I don't like secret societies working in the shadows, but they are theoretically on our side. It's annoying, because they might delay the game to get their win condition, but they are not the biggest threat. That would belong to Hoid. The issue is, we've focused too much on Odium. Our best lead on Hoid has to be Jondesu. He's an odd convert choice, and an odder kill choice. Since he was vanilla, I suspect he was 17th shard to start with. He was very adamant about getting people in the thread. Perhaps Hoid hadn't responded yet. GM, What would happen if Hoid went inactive?
  15. You just made my point. If Autonomy is shattered, Hoid can't get his first win condition. It doesn't affect Hoid for his second win condition either. His team needs to outnumber all the other villagers. It doesn't matter if they are working with Autonomy or not. If I'm reading the rules right, only the first Odium has the different win condition. So Odium should work with the village. Even if he has the same win condition, he should want to kill a likely Shard. Elodin, you do raise a good point though. If Alvron isn't Autonomy, this is a terrible plan. It seems likely to me that he is, but that might be inaccurate. I think it is worth the risk, but that's up to Odium. Would be nice to know what role Alvron is claiming at least.
  16. This may sound harsh, but I think Odium needs to kill Alvron. He seems very neutral, which immediately makes me think that he is Autonomy. If we shatter him, we deal a devastating blow to both Autonomy and the 17th shard. I don't think anyone would intentionally revive Autonomy, so it would be a dead giveaway that the 17th shard has cultivation.
  17. I should be able to participate in this. I wasn't signing up, since I don't like playing 2 games at once, but you need players. Should be fun.
  18. First off, I haven't been in any Devotion PMs. Not sure where you got that idea from. You do raise a good point about Odium though. He appears to be killing rather indiscriminately, which normally doesn't help the village. I don't think there is any reason for him not to kill. Shards naturally don't stay in people who are inactive. Therefore, Odium is most likely to go after players that are being active. The more active players he kills, the more likely he is to keep Shattering. That's a problem, because it makes him behave like an Eliminator at night. At this point, I'm wondering who won't be evil by the time the game is through. Hoid is still on the run, along with any of his converts. Odium is killing active players, and he can appoint a champion as well. We also have Autonomy and Survival as neutral third-parties. That's at least 5 evil players, along with any of Hoid's conversions. I'm not saying that we should random kill, since that still isn't good odds. However, we need to be careful about role-claiming. Information is going to spread fast this game. If you are holding a Shard, I would be cautious about revealing it. I would also suggest holding on to it for a cycle. If you are a villager, you know you are good. The list Hoid has is out of date, so there is less reason to pass them on. Passing off Shards in a cycle or 2 is a good thing, especially if you think Odium or Hoid knows you have one, but we don't need to do it every cycle. In other news, I will be going to Texas for New Years, so I won't be as active as I would like. I'll still browse the thread on mobile, but I won't be as talkative.
  19. I don't think that we can read that much into Odium's kills. Jondesu was killed Night 1, so I don't think Odium could know about his alignment. In my opinion, Jondesu was killed because he was trying to generate discussion. Conquestor was killed Night 2. I'm not sure it's likely that Odium was in a PM with Conquestor. With only 26 players, and 10 shards, there's about a 1 in 3 chance Odium hits a shard by pure luck. In addition, there are only 2 Devotion PMs going around right now. It's not the greatest odds that Odium and Conquestor to be in the same one. In regards to the lynch, I have absolutely no idea what Harambe is doing. I was speculating that there was a secret shard whose win condition was to be lynched, but Straw said that he lost that shard, so I don't think that's the case anymore. I think he's just a misguided villager, but we need information about the vote manipulation, so he needs to be killed.
