    The way compounding works, you can actually re-store the health in a metalmind and draw it again at whatever speed. You wouldn't need to burn it constantly, just frequently.

    Considering that they seem to be magically animated elementals, and the landscape of Roshar is slowly covered by crem, they would eventually simply seem to be oddly shaped rocks - and that's only the ones that are made of Essences that tend to stick around. What might happen to the Midnight Essences or the air/fire/oil ones?

    I'm imagining a giant forcefield around the Scadrial system, which crossing causes Sazed to manifest. He then confuses them with zenness and they turn around, completely clueless as to what they came for.

    A panel is missing. That panel is Kaladin on his knees, rain falling around him, arms raised to the sky, screaming WHHHHHYYYY???!!!!! And creepy rainspren with little question marks over their heads looking at him quizzically.

    AGH SORRY ROARSACH. Accidental downvote. I hate my phone. Also, very interesting that he used brass or zinc, I thought he might have used bronze to detect shallan's lightweaving/stormlight retention.

    On the Nahel bond and dying while fulfilling the oath: The perimortem vocalizations are apparently "powered by the spark of death" (to paraphrase). Could this power, perhaps Spiritual in nature, also be the force propelling bondspren back to the Cognitive when they die?

    IMO the Honorspren-approved action would be to save the first man, then try as hard as possible to save the others, even knowing that you can't.

    You could even have a situation where every main character thinks they've won by the end of book 10 - and then the epilogue cuts away to Hoid. He isn't making witty comments. He's staring at the stars as the sun rises, and, one by one, the coming light makes them seem to disappear. "Old friend," he says,"You are free, and the Cosmere will never be the same."

    Hidden in an nearly unbreakable cryptographic code concealed in a cypher based off of the name of the first building built in the U.S from the type of rock that a geologist could infer are buried beneath various cities at depths derived from the positioning of said cities and the mathematical sequence based on irrational numbers they form. This cypher contains such a high information density that, unbeknownst to us, the map actually contains the whole of the SA series encoded within.
