    One easy reason that Mat could be lying is is his actual faction wants to kill the Followers. The thing I don’t think makes sense is that Mat is both an Infiltrator and not a Follower. But I think either of those things individually could be true, and largely wanted to point out that for anyone voting on Mat shouldn’t have retracted solely in response to his claim, which has essentially no evidence, aside from the lack of a counterclaim, to back it up.

    My accusation is that you are an elim, i.e., an Infiltrator. So this claim (which nobody should be taking at face value anyways) doesn't really impact my vote at all. I'm also going to say that I'm getting Aman vibes from your claim, in the sense that it sounds nice, but is altogether too convenient. So, I still think you are an Infiltrator, I have doubts as to whether you are part of the Followers, and even if you are, I doubt you have accurately portrayed your goals/abilities.

    The bothersome thing about this game is that I can’t just vote on someone random and justify it by saying things like “we need a D1 exe” (though that is true) and “you’re as likely to be an elim as someone else” (though also true), because this is a faction game. My general D1 philosophy is that the greatest sin is to draw attention to yourself (paradoxically, trying to avoid attention by not posting tends to draw even more attention, like Fifth’s trademark-violating vote on me), and there’s the whole issue of angering an entire faction by voting off their doc-mate. So yeah, that’s my pitiable excuse for not having voted yet. I’m going to join Sart on Mat. I don’t see things the exact same way as Sart does, but I think Mat’s post basically comes out to fluff and “use your judgement” sort of thing while trying to seem like something more. I also think that there are at least 3 faction goals that the elims would very much want to (at least on the surface) pursue, since they involve killing other players.

    This was a really fun game to play, thanks for running it @Fifth Scholar, @Kasimir, and @Devotary of Spontaneity! It was nice to have a relatively chill village game, and the writeups were excellent. You guys did a great job of writing my character where I slacked off .

    My initial feedback is that you should have some sort of restriction on what counts as a post for the “most posts” boxing award. A similar mechanic was run a while back with no such restriction and it was a nightmare.

    In the case of elim!Steel, it could be that Fifth said that with regards to the limit on 3 elims per generic action, rather than the distro. Or it could be an outright lie. It does seem odd for Fifth to give Steel info like that, even if the content is sensible. I’m not sure what context it would come up in a villager GM PM. Seems more like an elim doc kinda thing.

    I'll support this, I guess. Xino, Steel. I think we can brute-force a win here, and Xino hasn't been helping, so it makes sense to vote him out first.

    I’m just gonna say that the elims already could have had 10 actions at once if they wanted, so you should instead be arguing that it would be broken for the elims to be able to have 15 actions, which doesn’t seem that much stronger than the potential 10 we know they already could reach. Currently my second choice is Xino but I’m going to take a closer look at things tomorrow. I do appreciate everyone that has continued to maintain suspicion of me. Y’all just keep giving the elims hope that they can vote me out .

    Full Feruchemists work the same as Ferrings, they just have all the metalminds. And since Bronze requires forgoing a Night action to store it, each (elim) Bronze Ferring could get between 2-4 total extra night actions over the course of the game, which honestly isn't that strong. It certainly would not "allow for them to block out village action submissions".

    Why would the elims having 2 Sentries not make sense? He could also be another full Feruchemist.

    So any number of protects can only give at best a 50% chance of actual protection. I do think the fact you've claimed to successfully protect Alvron is an indication that you are telling the truth about your role, since if you didn't successfully protect, someone could counterclaim you. However, as an elim, using lots of kill/protect actions makes a lot of sense, since if you successfully submit the protect, your actual kill target will be fairly certain to die. I think Steel makes sense as a last elim. I'm a little surprised that, in this scenario, there wouldn't be an elim Brass ferring, but I guess Stick would have filled that role.

    @Fifth Scholar is the 50% chance of success the odds of the single chosen action, out of all submitted actions, to have an effect, or is it the odds of any given action submission to make it into the pool, of which one success is guaranteed to happen (assuming the pool isn't empty)? Because I think Steel and I are interpreting this differently.

    Well, elim!Steel would want to claim something to avoid action analysis catching him. Especially given that we have the option of using the Synod members as a POE. But I'm also confused, since Steel thinks his failure was due to the 50%, but Mat seems to be claiming that his action took the 50%. Both of those things can't be true, since only one kill exists. I will say that I also tried to send in a kill and failed. Alvron probably also went for the kill again, which means that village!Steel would have a decent chance of not actually getting the kill on his 4 actions.
