  1. I got the result that JNV was not Trolled. So if we have v!JNV, then we have e!Bip. Which now makes the cycle where Steel died quite a bit more confusing.
  2. The point of a bus is to gain trust. My actions there, if intentional as an elim, lost me trust. So if this was a bus, then I have severely lost my touch.
  3. I'm just going to point out that it makes about 0 sense for me to be elim, because e!me would never claim to have forgotten to submit a Troll scan on Randby. I would have claimed that Randby was Trolled, and my teammate would still be alive (unless you are entertaining v!Steel, in which case the second Tie Guy results are relevant and implicate Mat). I'd even have earned some extra trust from that for verifying a scan and the Tie Guy results. So following me onto a train shouldn't concern you. Fae is obviously voting in self-preservation, and Mat is either cleared by Tie Guy IMO or a Conf Villager (and IDK if that works on Tie Guy anyway).
  4. I think Archer and Steel were our Tie Guy elims. If there is another one, it would be someone that is a Confirmed Villager. So no voting Matrim for me, at least until JNV and Fae are dead.
  5. I think both Sart's actions and role considerations make Bip look quite village, which is why she's number 5 on my list. Also, good point about Wizard. I'm not sure what e!Wizard would have done in that spot though, since it's a tough call. Either lose the NK for some trust, or just have your team get in a kill. I guess e!me would kill Drake in that situation and eat the risk, because Drake is kinda a problem for the elims. Actually, I'm a little surprised the elims attacked you instead of Drake.
  6. My current kill order would be JNV, [Fae/Wizard/Mat], Biplet
  7. The power of an old man chilling on a porch cannot be undone
  8. That… won’t work. The other half of Porch-Sitter is that I’m immune to NKs.
  9. You know, you were the person that was adamant about v!Steel, and in that world e!Fadran was the best explanation. I was gunning for Steel pretty much that entire cycle, but was willing to acknowledge that you could be right.
  10. I'll point out that everyone should look at Orlok's Tie Guy results and make some kind of decision about who the two elims were. That, combined with Steel's Tie Guy claim and the knowledge that Steel is elim, is the reason that I'm voting Archer.
  11. I guess I was misremembering Orlok as the person that had scanned me as village, but that was Bookwyrm. So never mind about that.
  12. I’m pretty sure I’m not the only person that was a little overwhelmed in the first few cycles of this game. Not to mention that I tend to do better analysis once numbers have been whittled down. If I’m in the books to be exed, recall that my alignment is tied to Orlok’s which is now tied to Steel’s, and if Steel is village that has implications for other things via Tie Guy. Not sure anyone wants to open that can of worms. On the other hand, me being alive at parity is not necessarily a good thing. Edit: I appear to have quoted the wrong part of Drake’s post.
  13. As someone who ran my first game somewhat recently, but co-GMed first, I would recommend the experience, just so you know a bit more what to expect. It is also now a requirement that your first game is either fairly standard, or that you have an experienced co-GM.
  14. It also has a conversion, I’m not sure how much you want to mess with that. I will say, one of these days I will play a semi-sane game where both Aman and I are village. But perhaps this is not yet that day. I’m in as Ardalan, a local obligator that just barely didn’t make the cut for Most Corrupt Obligator in the entire Final Empire. And he’s on friendly terms with most everyone, being willing to accept very small amounts for bribes.
  15. Yeah, I almost posted something like that. I guess nothing has changed in regards to my take on Archer, so that’s probably where my vote will park today.
  16. Did Drake just block the NK on Ada by getting Trolled?
  17. If there are still 2 living elims, my money would be on JNV and Archer. Since we can’t NK Archer, I’d suggest JNV to Drake.
  18. Except I also scanned Orlok as having been Trolled, so this only works if the elims had access to 2 Trolls.
  19. Well then. Maybe the suggestion itself is village, but it seems like that role fits pretty well on an elim team.
  20. I don’t think he ever claimed to be immune to NKs, and even if he did, I’m skeptical of that.
  21. Probably not. Though a Steel, Sart, and Tani team so far has pretty weak thread control potential. My current question is: How quickly did the elims know that this would be a game revolving around scans/roleclaims, and how much, if at all, did they fake scans/roleclaims to get their teammates cleared? Because the gambit potential in this game is nearly unlimited, but it’s not quite as accessible as a WGG or something. Coming up with a convincing fake role takes some work, and setting up a fake scan requires either the Confirmed Villager role or intentionally linking two elims together. Or a very well timed Troll.
  22. I think that Steel's claim of Tie Guy having 2 elims is designed to implicate the 4 people that weren't switched out of the vote. Hence, my elim credences for the 4 people that were switched out go up by a bit, and Archer is the only one of those left. And today his focus on Drake along with the push to stop NKs both feel pretty off to me. I still have a gut village read on him from our PM, but that is significantly outweighed at this point.
  23. The argument being that e!Fadran would act as he did regardless of Steel’s alignment, in order to cast doubt on the scan result?
  24. So this this world, we lose. Because the elims can always exe me at parity. Edit: That's not quite right, because of dead votes. But I'm not sure how many of those we can count on.
