    You win if everyone else is dead, I believe. That tends to hold true in most SE games.

    Normally this would terrify me, but in this case I feel like hastening my death would have probably been a good thing. And I forgot, but thank you @Elandera for running this game, and I look forward to the next iteration!

    Well good game to the elims, especially Mat and Alpha for sticking through a really rocky start. I’m still scratching my head over Mat not getting exed after me. Or honestly, Mat not getting exed before me.

    If there is an elim outside the N3 POE then that's who would have sent in the kill, not Mat. Also, again, if I'm elim, why do I both claim SB to Kas, and give him permission to share the claim with you?

    There are 10 players alive. If the elims can win by hammering then the game was over a while back.

    While you will always be you, at least for other folks I think there is value in voting now, and I'm suspicious of people that are reluctant to vote. The world I'm living in has Mat plus 1 more elim, and that other elim has to decide whether to bus their teammate or not. They can easily defend me if they know I'm going to get exed, and get village credit for "being right". Whereas if they vote now they won't know for certain if they can get away with bussing Mat. Edit: @Alvron I’m sort of glad you’re insane right now, since I suspect you’d vote for me now that my extra life is gone. Just because I’m generally evil doesn’t mean that I’m evil in this specific game though .

    Writer is a create PM role, and the whole point of an extra life is to waste an elim kill (which, as you can see, I failed to do quite well).

    Yeah, well, I'm not sure which is worse: me having a role + ability that fit nicely on the elim team, or me being responsible for setting up PMs and drawing attacks...

    Yeah, I’m guessing the elims have a Writer and the SE left, but they could maybe have a Thief instead of a Writer.

    Yeah, I was saying it's technically possible that you lost the Mask to a Spellbook rather than a kill attempt.

    If you got hit with a Spellbook then it could have worked, right? But elims wouldn’t have attacked Illwei (probably not Alvron either), so an attack on you seems most likely. I guess it could have failed due to a Mask on your target as well. Mat.

    Claiming SB only discredits you until you are dead, and then in a v!you world that strongly backfires onto e!me. That’s the fundamental asymmetry here; you got forced into your claim by the D1 exe while I made mine willingly. And nobody has presented a coherent case for why e!me would willingly and without prompting claim SB to Kas.

    Why would e!me lie about having SB in a game where that implicates me as the e!SE, especially when the claim was made in the context of suspecting you for that exact reason. Kas would have exed me in a heartbeat if you’d flipped village.

    I never said I shouldn’t be suspected at all. Like I said above, the only existing suspicion against me was because my SB claim made me an e!SE candidate, so I was defending against that. Nobody mentioned suspicion against me for any of my votes or anything. Except the writer claim, but again that was only seen as suspicious in relation to the SEting.

    Literally the only reason to exe me was if you believed my claim (and again I’ll emphasize e!me would literally never make that claim). Otherwise we had a perfectly nice POE (which folks ignored to burn my extra life). Not to mention that you are both confirmed to have SB and are in said POE, and are thus a perfect candidate for the e!SE. Not to mention that in your case we don’t have to knock out an extra life.

    I'm not. I just had the thought that a player having 2 roles is weird, despite not being prohibited in the rules. Since people are suspecting me because my SB claim makes me a candidate for being the e!SE, and since I am a Writer, I figured I'd bring it up. The whole day I've been trying to make the case that Mat is the more likely e!SE candidate over myself, and I feel like everything I've said makes sense in that context, whether or not folks agree with it.

    Uh... what? I was pointing out that if I were the elim SE, instead of Mat, then that would require me to have 2 roles.

    It’s not in the rules that I can tell, so maybe this isn’t a great defense, but I am a Writer (blasted GMs always giving me PM roles ), and it seems odd to me that the elims would have a vanilla and a double-role player.

    The point is that it applies to literally anyone. You said your lack of claim shows you are not the e!SE. But doesn’t the fact I didn’t claim SE to save Aman do the same? Since the argument applies equally to everyone, it’s irrelevant for trying to pick out the actual SE. Edit: I realize that you already address this in your response to DeTess, and yeah, the fact you’d already claimed SB does mean that e!you would be more likely to claim SE. But it’s also possible you didn’t work that option out until after your SB claim. *sigh* Maybe the elims are hoarding a crossbow and then it would make sense to have 3 extra village lives and a team of 4. Need some other people to weigh in because I don’t really have more thoughts here.

    The problem with this argument is that we know the elims have a SE. So we know that, whoever they are, they chose to not claim.

    Yeah but that would have backfired when the village SE claimed (kind of irrelevant that it happened to be Kas) because 2 village SE seems a little busted. It would have just been a stalling tactic, and unless there are 5 elims we would have figured it out before exlo.

    Because it doesn’t make much sense for there to be 2 village SEs, and since your team would guess a village one exists, so eventually you’d guarantee you and Aman both getting exed with no real gain for your team. And I’m not sure you would have saved Aman regardless, though I’m a bit fuzzy on the details of what could have made him innocent there. Aman getting blocked plus a lack of a death was fairly incriminating.
