  1. Whoops, Stanley, sorry about that. I am good with the plan. I don't really know about lynching Aya. Assuming that she intends to actually vote for Jasnah, then the real vote tally is 3 for Aya and 2 for Jasnah. However, if we keep losing rooms then putting pressure on the eliminators is a good thing, even if we lose a couple villagers along the way. I'm gonna vote for Aya based on that reasoning.
  2. At this point, we might want to consider a tie for the lynch. The only person that died so far was from the Day 1 lynch, and they were opposed to the plan that everyone else agreed was a decent way to find eliminators. However, tonight there is likely to be at least one kill since we have (I think) an inactive that will be in the hallway and at least 1 room with 4 people together. Both of these scenarios give the eliminators a good chance to kill someone without being narrowed down too much. In other words, I suspect there will be a kill tonight and I think we might want to wait to lynch someone before we have that extra bit of info. On the other hand, at the rate that we have been losing rooms, our strategy might fall apart in a couple of days, so we might want to pressure the eliminators to use kills while they would give away the most info possible. On that note, I will vote for Stanley, since he never came on to respond to the previous poke made at him, and I would also like to hear from him.
  3. One thing we might want to consider as this game progresses is organizing who goes into which room by how the previous cycle voting happened. I'm not really that surprised that nobody died last night, since we would effectively have a 50% chance to knock out an eliminator right off the bat. Now, most likely a kill will happen in one of the 4-person rooms and we won't be able to use that information quite as effectively. Also, are we going to try and incorporate the hallway into our plans at all? I'm not sure exactly how, but it should be something we consider since we are now putting 4 people in some rooms.
  4. Joe, you can get rid of the question by my name, I am in with the plan. I just think the shooting range is more exciting than a practice room, so if we could just get that entire group to move into the shooting range I'd be a bit more happy.
  5. Renegade, that sounds pretty good, the only real problem I can think of is if we don't have enough analysis roles to scan people, or if we have a lot of deaths in one night. I actually kinda want to visit the shooting range tonight, if we can incorporate the into your plan. And I don't really see much point in voting right now, except that it would be bad if people ended up in the hallway since we couldn't tell who killed them.
  6. I'll sign up i guess, Spark O'toole is a former research chemist that lost everything and now is caring for children of his coworkers that were orphaned by an Epic.
  7. Ash has always been erratic. I don't see that as a reason to vote, and also Ash made a statement that applied to me and votes directed toward me but said that it wasn't a specific reason to defend me, just something to think about as far as voting in general, and I happened to agree. As it happens, I was typing my post when the second vote for Ronald showed up, and decided to jump on it, partly to save myself an partly to spark some more discussion than "Tavi is inactive, lets all vote for him." I still trust you Jain, but I also think that you may r abiding the trust everyone is giving you now that you aren't being quite so erratic. However, I think that we do need a lynch tonight, and I am going to stick to my vote unless we have a major revelation like that Wyrm is really a sentry or some such thing. I think that Joe shood make the final call here, since we all trust him to be a villager.
  8. Yeah, I can see why you did it, my philosophy of playing is just a bit different. I prefer to give a more blunt statement that includes my own personal hopes about the outcome. And, as you can see, at least one person (me) saw it as suspicious that you mentioned your own death as a "good" idea.
  9. Kas, I'm not quite sure what you mean by what don't I like about Tory's post. Unless I'm way more tired then I think I am, he hadn't shown up when I made that vote. I just now however realized that he has posted since I made that vote, which was its main purpose, so here: Tory Anyway, much of my suspicion was focused on Joe for a while because I was confused as to why he revealed his supposed status as the sentry. However, by now if we had someone else who was the real sentry then they probably would have said something to the rest of us. I currently trust Jain the most, after Joe, largely because he is the only person who brought up that there might be only two forgotten, and I don't know why the forgotten would point something out like that if they knew we were wrong all along. As far as who to lynch tonight, there are, as people have pointed out, 3 targets. I am going to vote for Ronald for the following reasons: Ash made an argument that had some intent to defend me, although it wasn't directed directly toward people who voted for me. Hopefully, that means Ash and I are on the same team, so I am not inclined to vote that direction. I also don't think that using advanced rithmatics at this point would be all that useful, since its really just a shot in the dark. Also, invluding yourslef in the list of people to be targeted doesn't make sense. Regardless of which team you are on, it is harmful to them for you to die, unless you are trying to cover something up, which I can only think of an eliminator doing anyway. So, we are 3 for me and 3 for Ronald, so somebody needs to break the tie that isn't one of us two.
  10. I agree with you Jain, at least to some extent. Once this is all over I will be interested to see what happened to all of the non-rithmatists, since we haven't had any kills yet outside the lynches and forgotten.
  11. Hey everyone, I was crazy busy this weekend and popped on for just a minute but didn't notice that I got voted for or really have time to make a post. Unfortunately, I'm still fairly busy, but lets see what I can come up with. I did propose the first plan for dealing with the lines of warding and such, but that is behind us now. Also, I am beginning to doubt that there are 3 forgotten left, since they could fairly easily use lines of vigor to cause a chalkling kill, at least how I see it, and with us making bad guesses, another 3 villagers dead and the game is over. We could try and test for how many there are, but its a little late for that and it would be pretty risky. I just had a double take there, the writeup says I voted for Jain, but it should be the other way around. Anywho, I think that I agree with Jain that Ashiok was a bit suspicious, but I don't really have any suspicions of my own right now so I'll put a vote on Tory Farth, and pop back in after an hour or two to see what happens. Ash, I saw you just posted there, and I agree, although I'm not sure how it really applies to defending (or not) me, but thanks anyway.
  12. I am going to put a vote on Chase, she really hasn't contributed very much at this point and I agree that it is a bit frustrating she is only using RP and not explaining her own actions. Maybe being the current selection for the lynch will provoke a more comprehensive response.
  13. At least from the writeup, the doesn't seem to have been a chalkling kill. Maybe we should get a tally of who actually drew a line of warding last cycle so we can have an idea of how many we need in total. I suspect that 6 lines of making might not be enough, especially if there are 3 forgotten left. In my opinion, the first night the chalkings break through will give us a decent amount of info, so keeping the numbers close to a death is probably a good thing. It seems that the only way you can really demonstrate innocence in this is coming up with a really good reason to lynch somebody that ends up being a forgotten, or building lots of useful diagrams and such. We have 2 votes on Tulir right now, so I won't bother exploring over there for the moment. I don't think that we can really excuse anyone from the vote for Dui; if the eliminators realized he was inactive then jumping on a vote for him wouldn't do much to hurt them. I'll put a vote on Will because I would like to hear why you think we should coordinate our chalklings since that would make it pretty easy for the forgotten to cancel the important ones with lines of vigor. I'll retract that vote if the answer to this question is yes: Is there a difference between the message you get when your chalking gets blocked by warding/forbiddance and the one you get if you get hit by a line of vigor when you drew a line of making?
  14. I agree with your plan (at least for tonight), excepting that we should have 8 people do lines of warding and not 7. Anyway, I will make my line tonight.
  15. Well, partly in response to Kas, who should have noticed that I usually post plans on day one that haven't been fully thought through, I would like to justify my thoughts and so forth. If we don't coordinate then we won't learn anything and we cannot try and find inconsistencies and so forth, and most liekly we wont get enough lines of warding to stop the chalklings. In the worst (or best) case scenario, if there are 4 forgotten, then they can use 3 lines of vigor. In addition, if we select those people to draw lines of warding, then they can remove 2 defense each. (One for not drawing and one for the line of vigor) So, if we pick 7 people, 4 of whom are forgotten, then theoretically we could end up with 0 defense, or 1 with a sentry. So the worst case scenario would have us draw probably 11 lines of warding. Again assuming 4 forgotten, we still need 4-1+3 = 6 lines of warding if no forgotten make it into our selection. Most likely a random selection of 7/8 people will have 2 forgotten, and of the remain 5/6 people 3 of their lines can be canceled by lines of vigor. So, if we pick 8 people to draw, get the average number of 2 forgotten and have a sentry in our group then we will just make the cut. I can see now why Kas was nervous about discussing who draws the lines of warding, because coordinating lets the forgotten remove 3 of our lines automatically. I propose that we go ahead and pick 8 people to draw lines of warding. That should give us decent chances of not having a chalkling attack, and should also let several people us lines of making, and if the chalklings do get through, then we can have a good idea of how many forgotten were in the pool of people that we making lines of warding.
  16. So, we have at most 4 forgotten, and probably 1-2 sentries. So 4-1=3 we should probably have 4 or more lines of warding. The forgotten will likely use lines of vigor, so it wouldn't hurt to have even 7 lines of warding. If we pick 10 people to draw lines of warding, and somehow pick 3 forgotten then we should be safe anyways. Also, erring towards a smaller number could be useful since we could get a pool of people that would have to contain a forgotten. Anywho, I will volunteer myself to draw a line of warding. (it can't hurt to color code these, so I propose orange)
  17. pir2h voted for Ashiok, who is Aaron Roddy. Aonar is just plain Aaron. I propose that we call Ashiok "Roddy" from this point to deconfuse things.
  18. I'm here, mostly so that my first post isn't a reaction to a vote. I really don't like how people do that, since there isn't really a good way to respond if your first post is a reply to a vote. Anyway, I'll vote for Chase (pir2h), mostly because I want to get a feel for how he thinks and so forth and because the eliminators can hide behind inexperience.
  19. Well, we seem to have lost the one piece of info that we could rely on; that one of the Kadra was living in the Tineye's body. Dants seems like a solid vote, since if the Kandra did hijack his body then we would never know. My personal opinion is that we should consider voting for Bunnt, for a couple reasons. He came under some significant suspicion during previous nights, and he currently claims to be Koloss-Blooded. If he is telling the truth, he won't die, and if not then we get a Kandra kill. I am also a bit curious as to what happened with the Set and their spiking, since I had thought that would be a good way to verify anyone who claimed to have a power that wasn't noticeably visible. Btw, does seeking happen before or after the Kandra switch bodies? Because if seeking goes first then it is kind of useless.
  20. I feel like a legit fantasy series loosely based on Pokemon deserves a lot of credit. Also, are names are supposed to be somewhat tied to our usernames and if I changed my username then I would confuse myself.
  21. I'll sign up as Tavi, a very bright boy that just never was able to keep out of trouble. I think the chalkling thing as a way for the eliminators to limit actions, with 3 forgotten and all the sentries killed then people would have to coordinate lines of warding, which would give the forgotten an extra way to dupe people. I think its a pretty cool mechanic actually.
  22. Will this affect the duration of the next day? As in, will we have 24 or 48 hours to do our scheming at this point?
  23. Maybe I'm wrong, but I counted 11 players which gives 8 good guys and 3 bad. We need everyone to post something fairly fast since that is the only way to get any info about who might be a new Kandra. If Wilson doesn't reply soon, then he might be a good candidate for a vote since players are only required to come online once during each day to coordinate, and Wilson might not have communicated with his Kandra yet. I'm going to vote for Bunnt, I agree with your reasoning Twelfth.
  24. I think the cycle might have ended around 6:00 Pacific Time last night but the thread just didn't get closed.
  25. I'm kinda suspicious of Alvron now since the two contenders for tonight's vote are Bunnt and Tulir, but Alvron had already voted for Bunnt with a good reason, so I don't see how switching just to lynch is justified. There are plenty of people that haven't voted yet or that made votes like mine that clearly aren't going to count that should decide for ourselves who gets lynched. Based on how Bunnt has not been very eloquent in his own defense and how Alvron seems to have forgotten that he was suspicious of Bunnt, I will tie us again.
