  1. That seems like a rather poor idea, given that your team has demonstrated the ability to block attacks.
  2. Yeah, I guess I meant that if you are pretty confident the elims actually know your role, then you should claim in thread.
  3. @Ventyl that's a bad idea, regardless of which team you are on. The game is nearing the point where the village will need every vote to avoid an elim hammer, and the elims want every possible vote so that they can hammer people. Besides, we are all used to getting lynched as villagers, so there won't be any hard feelings. Edit: Other thought, directed to everyone. If you roleclaimed to Aman, you should probably post that in the thread so that everyone is working with the same set of information as the elims are.
  4. You know, we keep referencing the Kandra as a SK, so shouldn't we consider/be worried about the Kandra having some sort of kill? (Although I'm beginning to doubt that there actually is a Kandra in this game). One thing I thought of when Aman described his "role" was that unless the second Kandra was a soother/rioter/coinshot, the best case win scenario would be a 50% lynch chance. I probably should have mentioned it, because in retrospect it doesn't make sense for a role to have such limited influence on its ability to win. Anyhow, if there is a real Kandra, we should probably consider that they likely have some way to ensure a victory near the end.
  5. Hey everyone, I guess I'm confirmed village!
  6. @Rathmaskal That doesn't really make sense. If you flip elim, we will lynch Aman for being the Kandra. If you flip village, we will lynch Aman for being something not village. Either way, nobody except Aman needs to be too worried about the lynch next cycle. Also, you never clarified why you voted on Aman rather than Sart last cycle.
  7. *facepalm* of course, I probably should have done more than skim your post about that
  8. Yeah, xino could have not visited the doc at that point, given his low activity this game. Some GMs put that stuff in the doc beforehand. I don't think that Rath and Devotary are on the same team, since he mentions having a PM with Devotary. It could be intentionally misleading, but the comment seems too casual for that.
  9. The first thing that stands out to me is that Rath suggests the game might be role madness. That doesn't fit with him being on the same team as xino.
  10. Well, I can't say that this makes me any less suspicious of Aman. If he is an elim, this would probably also be his smartest play, since the real Kandra wouldn't want to reveal themselves. There is enough general suspicion of Rath that we would believe an alignment scan. If Rath is village, then after the lynch and night kill we will be at 5-3-1 or 6-2-1. Whoever the kandra really is would basically have to side with the village, so we would probably have 2 chances to get the lynch right, give or take some with a Coinshot. That's not horrible odds for winning. It honestly seems to me that lynching Aman first is a less risky option. However, it does make sense that a Kandra wouldn't want a village lurcher prolonging the game, and that claiming lurcher over thug would prevent the chances of a repeat elim attack. I'll tentatively switch to Rath, but I do think everyone should consider the risk that Aman is lying again.
  11. I voted on Aman last cycle, so I'm pretty sure it makes sense for me to follow up.
  12. I'm going to hold off on final judgements until the day turn, when we have more information. I think I need to do some analysis independent of role shenanigans, and then see how well it matches with what has gone on.
  13. Even if Aman is the SK and not an elim I'm suspicious of Rath, and would seriously consider lynching him the cycle after next.
  14. @Rathmaskal could you elaborate on why you think Sart’s claim is more valid than Aman’s? I feel like I’m stretching to put a vote on Aman, so it makes me suspicious (of you and Sart) when you place a vote on Aman so easily.
  15. You know, I’m going to switch to Aman. I might be totally wrong here, but I don’t think it makes sense for Sart to be an elim.
  16. I'm not so sure. We probably would have lynched Drake if he (Sart) hadn't claimed.
  17. Oh yeah. Hmm. One other thing that's bothering me a little is why did Sart claim lurcher? I'm not sure why it would make sense for an elim to do that, unless Drake is also an elim. In that case, Drake could have claimed to self-protect without implicating a teammate. Edit: Ninja'd
  18. Well, the Kandra role might work like the Quicksilver role from Joe's Gunnerkrigg LG, where they abandon a body each cycle, which appears as dead, and inhabit a new one. Aman's coinshot dying during the night would heavily suggest that the Kandra works like that. It would also give a justification as to why said player would claim to Aman, since that account's body wouldn't be around later to get killed. Also, I guess I'll vote on Sart. I am tempted to vote for Aman though, out of paranoia.
  19. So someone has claimed to be Xino's killer, and you are confident they are village? Out of curiosity, who do you think are the eliminators?
  20. The thing is, I could totally see Fifth and Aman working together as elims resulting in that kind of banter. I mean, they both said a lot, but it hasn't been that useful for anyone else to analysis with. I'd say that Fifth+Aman being elims is significantly more likely than 2 lurchers. I am just leaning right now toward Sart being elim over Fifth/Aman. I should also probably take my vote off Drake for now. I need to think a bit and watch things play out before I place my final vote. Edit: @Amanuensis how else would xino have died? Do you think the village had a coinshot in addition to our mistborn?
  21. @Amanuensis I'm not sure that the elims would try risk winning on a specific outcome of events, given that there is a Kandra running around that nobody knows anything about.
  22. @Sart Why did you not protect Fifth last night? You mentioned me as one of your top suspicions, and Aman brought up in the PM the danger of a hazekiller. Seems like a village lurcher would want to stop a second village lurcher from dying.
  23. Okay, thanks for spelling it out for me
  24. @Ventyl Could you give a little more insight both into your initial vote on Devotary and your recent retraction? If your reason for voting on Devotary was clear (although I don't understand it), then your retraction is unclear.
  25. I'm going to vote on Drake. Drake's alignment should shed some light on Aman's. I also, once again, don't understand the reason behind the lynch on Devotary. Could someone explain it real simple like for me? Edit: Except Sart's explanation, which I understand.
