I'm going to vote for Gammalv Fiend. Not much reason besides a hunch, but it is C1.- 1116 replies

@Furamirionind, exactly. I have a deal with someone where they kill me. But if someone happens to kill them first, I win out. Part of the deal is that I can't ask anyone to target them.

Well, I already made a deal with someone to kill me, so that's only true for most players.

Long Game 51: A Traitor in the Obligators
Araris Valerian replied to Straw's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I would have certainly figured it out if you hadn't killed me, but then it would take 2 coin flips for that to matter. There was no way that there was only Cadcom as a convert. Thanks for the compliment :D. I've learned that you haven't lost your touch despite being gone for a while. -

The first one unscrambled to "botherav", which was supposed to reference my username and usage of the word bother. I did that so that nobody could just look up how it unscrambles. The second message unscrambled to heffalumpwoozle, a reference to my profile picture. I mostly agree with your assessment of the game, Mailliw, although I'm not entirely sold that you needed another team member. I think Itiah getting caught early gave the village a deserved advantage. Without that, there would have been a total of 4 elims, which is decent for a game with 19 players. As it turned out though the inactives plus the early Itiah lynch made for a pretty suspenseful and enjoyable endgame. You and Karn have joined Wilson on the list of people that have won a close endgame against me when I had all the pieces I needed to solve the puzzle. -
You know, it has been a while since I did a QF, and this seems fun. Hopefully I haven't betrayed anyone here too recently. I'll be Elysian.

@Karnatheon, if Snipexe is an elim with vote manipulation then you should make sure to get a vote in before the cycle is over. -
Long Game 51: A Traitor in the Obligators
Araris Valerian replied to Straw's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I'm pretty sure that Snipexe and CadCom are the last 2 elims. There could be another inactive, or some crazy Seeker conspiracy, but I think this is most likely. -

You sure? I'm assuming that you are basing that off your emotional allomancy. But someone else could have Smoked him. -

I sort of agree with the Snipexe's suspicions though. There are 10 players right now, and Nohadon, Gancho, STINK, and Coop will likely die to the filter, leaving 6. Of these, the Seeker has scanned Mailliw and a Lurcher who is presumably active, giving 3 confirmed villagers, whom I am not among. That would make it impossible to have 3 active elims (unless I'm elim of course). 2 is a possibility, since that would give a final elim count of 4 if the Seer didn't ever get attacked, which is reasonable because this game only had 19 players to start. In either case (my being elim or only 2 total elims) though, the Seeker should have a scan from last Night cycle, meaning either 4 confirmed villagers or 3 and 1 confirmed elim. Both of these scenarios are a village win as I understand it. Thus, there are really only 2 explanations I can think of: Karnatheon is the Seeker and hasn't been online to report their scan, or the whole Seeker thing is a sham. Edit: Ninja'd by CadCom, but his post also adds up to Mailliw being the Seeker or there being no Seeker at all. -

Hey, glad to see you back. @Lumgol, who sent you the message about someone being Seeked earlier in the game? -

It's short for Lynch or Lose. It means we lynch an elim or lose the game. -
Long Game 51: A Traitor in the Obligators
Araris Valerian replied to Straw's topic in Sanderson Elimination
@Karnatheon, @Snipexe, I think this is LyLo. At least one of you is almost certainly elim, and I think we should probably do some role reveals so we can solve this. If neither of you is the Seeker, then either it's Mailliw, or there isn't actually a Seeker and Mailliw is an elim. I suppose there is the rather sad possibility that the three of you are all evil, but I hope that's not the case. -
Long Game 51: A Traitor in the Obligators
Araris Valerian replied to Straw's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Yeah, but if that were the case then the game would end after the filter kicks in. -
Long Game 51: A Traitor in the Obligators
Araris Valerian replied to Straw's topic in Sanderson Elimination
So when the filter kicks in, we will have 4 players left. That means that given 3 remaining elims, at least one of the inactives must be elim. -

Araris Valerian replied to Straw's topic in Sanderson Elimination
So we have a village Lurcher, Seeker, and Smoker. I think the Seeker should reveal during the next day cycle, although I have a guess at who it is. I''d support Seeking of Karnatheon or Snipexe, and I'd kinda like Aman scanned as well, so he'd be third on my list. -

@Karnatheon, it might be helpful for you to vote now, and then change it later. In my experience more votes and sooner are generally better, so that we have time to discuss and respond. I also think I agree about Cadcom, but want to hear from him. Good point about Itiah being Dead, Mailliw. That means you and the Seeker should be cleared. -

3. Araris Valerian (Ookla the Inherited) 4. Malliw73 (Matarn Wachtrot) 6. Ookla the Lumgol (AKA Lumgol) (Teraval) 7. Coop772 (Ihcnoux) 8. Ookla the Ring (AKA Karnatheon) (Bessum) 9. Ookla the Gambler (AKA Nohadon) (Velrond Tarot) 10. Amanuensis (Xemalun Renaud) 11. Ookla the Duck (AKA Cadmium Compounder) (Palessi) 12. Ookla the Libre (AKA Gancho Libre) (Erbil Ohcnag) 15. Ookla the Skeptical (AKA Snipexe) (Snipexe) 16. Jondesu (Remart) 17. STINK (Flans Mastic) So I've itialicized the inactives and bolded the people I don't plan on voting for due to other things. That leaves Karnatheon, Aman, CadCom, Snipexe, and Jondesu. I'm leaning toward Aman being village, but that could be totally wrong. He did bring up that Karn could be an elim seeker, causing the N2 kill to not be possible along a conversion. I guess Jondesu won't be around this cycle, and he's been decently active so we should probably hold off on lynching him. @Amanuensis, who would be your next pick after Jondesu? Also, @Cadmium Compounder, who do you want to kill? Ditto for @Karnatheon. We're getting close to when we might want to get some roles out in the open. The Seeker and Mailliw almost certainly have the same alignment, since claiming to have successfully scanned a Smoker would be very risky, but it is possible that they were both converted. I suppose an alternate possibility is that the Seeker was converted the Night that Mailliw was scanned. Either way, the Seeker would be the weak point, not Mailliw. If the Seeker is village then we should have 2 more cleared players by now, which should help things. I suppose I'd like to hear other thoughts on this. I'll put my vote on CadCom for now, since his post during the night Cycle regarding myself and Karnatheon struck me as too wishy-washy. -
Long Game 51: A Traitor in the Obligators
Araris Valerian replied to Straw's topic in Sanderson Elimination
@Straw You might want to consult the impartial GM or something if you want to make a change like that. I'd be okay with it, because it would probably just kill off STINK and Nohadon. I'm going to start the voting with one on Jondesu, since he's sort of been on my list and was almost lynched earlier. More later.
