Quick Fix Game 32: A New Adventure
Araris Valerian replied to Straw's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Um, @Arraenae, your vote isn't on Lopen2. It's on me. And lynching me won't do too much. If you want me dead, then you should double-tap with steel and the lynch. Edit: Actually, on that note, I'll just vote for myself: Araris Valerian. I'm going to be busy the rest of the night and won't be around to post until next cycle, if I'm still around.- 305 replies

Well, Rae is going to kill Lopen2. That leaves Snipexe and Pyro. I'm not sure if either of them has been confirmed good, but we should lynch one of them.- 305 replies

My role is somewhat less glamorous. I was kinda hoping I'd get attacked, but it doesn't matter at this point. I'm a thug.- 305 replies

Because there were 2 attacks Cycle 2, and Rae didn't do either of them. It makes the most sense that an elim mistborn pulled steel that cycle.- 305 replies

So we have a Coinshot(Rae), an unknown mistborn/coinshot, an unknown lurcher, and Lopen all cleared. Can the unknown mistborn/coinshot account for the attack on Stick? Because if they can't, that would clear Stick as well. Seems kinda impossible to lose this game.- 305 replies

Quick Fix Game 32: A New Adventure
Araris Valerian replied to Straw's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I think Snipexe and Devotary are considered suspect by most of the living players because they haven't given too much effort toward finding eliminators. You can read my analysis post above, but Stick doesn't like my conclusions, so judge for yourself. I'm in a similar boat, I'll be off for the cycle in a bit, and I'm slightly worried after the votes that piled on me last cycle. But Aralis has been lynched several times, so if it happens, I'm sure he'll get over it.- 305 replies

I forgot to put down Elandera as a village read in my analysis. But it's possible that Elandera and Rae are elim buddies.- 305 replies

Quick Fix Game 32: A New Adventure
Araris Valerian replied to Straw's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Well, I think I remembered why I don't play QF games anymore. Sleeping through rollover is kind of a bother. Thank you to the Soother, I'd prefer to see my lynch coming than die by surprise. Okay, so C1 was pretty boring. I think the only thing I can really get is a slight villager read on Itiah for being willing to place the second vote on Drake, although Itiah apparently didn’t realize he was the second vote on Drake. Stick does bring up a reasonable point that Drake is leaning village since there wasn't an effort to stop the lynch on him. However, I'm hesitant to make too much of a read out of that considering that rollover is when a lot of people are asleep. C2 was a bit more interesting. We had 4 votes on Itiah, and then they all sort of disappeared. It's hard to analyze this without knowing Itiah's alignment. If Itiah flips village then I would get a mild elim read on DoS, since the last minute retraction on Itiah feels more like a calculated move to me than actually believing in his innocence. If Itiah flips elim then I'd suspect Lopen, since Cadcom is village. I get a mild village read on Rae for defending Elandera. C3: I'm not really sure about Stick. I can't really say much about her getting attacked without trying to guess the elim team distribution. As for Elandera, I'm not sure. But DoS's last post makes me suspicious that Elandera is village and DoS didn't want to be on the back end of a bandwagon on someone they knew to be village. Itiah is probably village because of the stunt he tried to pull. Which points a bit to DoS again. Except then Itiah thinks DoS is village. It's probably just me, but I don't like how quickly the lynch on me formed. Makes me suspicious of both Lopen1 and Stick. Village reads: Itiah, Rae Elim reads: Snipexe, Lopen1, DoS, Stick People that should be coinshot because they are too quiet: Alvron, Lopen2, Pyro I should probably have done this sooner. Then I wouldn't have voted on Itiah last cycle.- 305 replies

Okay, I'm working on an analysis post that is getting a little large, but I have to go for a while, so it will come later in the day. My vote for now is going on Snipexe. I don't like how the lynch switched off of him so quickly, especially since he hasn't been very active. There isn't really anything he has done to convince me of a village alignment.- 305 replies

Quick Fix Game 32: A New Adventure
Araris Valerian replied to Straw's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Okay, I'm back, and I've had a little time to think about things. Itiah's ploy seems like a village thing to do, although it would be kinda funny if an elim tried to exploit the rules to lead everyone on a wild goose chase. I agree with Rae and Drake's points about Elandera, especially since there wasn't a particularly good reason why Elandera was lynched last cycle, so it would have been easyish to draw attention to someone else. On that note, I'm going to vote for TheMightyLopen. He's been lurking despite saying that in a QF players need to be more aggressive than normal. And with that, I'm probably out for the rest of the cycle.- 305 replies

Quick Fix Game 32: A New Adventure
Araris Valerian replied to Straw's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I was told in a PM from Cadcom that if he died, I someone would send me a PM asking for a name, and that name was Stick. I'm not really sure what that was all about, and I never got a follow up PM, but maybe someone else knows what he wanted. I'm somewhat out of sorts and busy right now, so I'm just going to repeat my vote on Itiah from last cycle. I'm not really looking to generate any discussion from this vote, and if I have time I'll come back later to do some analysis.- 305 replies

Quick Fix Game 32: A New Adventure
Araris Valerian replied to Straw's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Guys, I know that the cycle doesn't end for ~14.5 hours, but I'll be asleep for most of those. It would be nice if people could start voting. @Drake Marshall, @Alvron, @Arraenae, @I think I am here., @Cadmium Compounder, @_Stick_, @Devotary of Spontaneity, you all have posted, so you're good as far as the activity filter is concerned, but you haven't voted. And I'm going to move my vote from Snipexe to Itiah. I find it somewhat suspicious that you say we should go after inactives/low actives (or agree with me saying that), but then don't vote yourself.- 305 replies

Quick Fix Game 32: A New Adventure
Araris Valerian replied to Straw's topic in Sanderson Elimination
We might want to look toward the inactive less active players this cycle, for two reasons. The elim kill wasn't sent in, which could mean one or more eliminators is inactive/low active. Also, everyone needs to participate this cycle. Because that's how we win the game. With that in mind, Snipexe, why didn't you vote last cycle? Your vote (and reasoning that leads to it) is the best way for us to get information about you. @TheMightyLopen Could you elaborate more on why you think we should roleclaim? I'm opposed to that sort of thing for a couple of reasons, but I also haven't played a QF in a year or more, so I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts. My main reason against a game-wide role reveal is that I think it takes away from the game when people start trying to guess the role distribution of the elim team, and voting based on that, rather than trying to solve the game through discussion and votes.- 305 replies

Quick Fix Game 32: A New Adventure
Araris Valerian replied to Straw's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Gotcha. Itiah. @Cadmium Compounder Not at all. That's the point where my poke vote doesn't go away just because the player posted. I guess I'll put my more confident(ish) vote on Drake. Mostly because he already violated the sacred rules of PM safety. This vote is sticking around until someone else does something more incriminating.- 305 replies

I'm only going to say this once, PM safety guys! If you're new, that means don't roleclaim in PMs. The elims are in every single PM. Paranoia is your best friend. 3. xinoehp512 (Demmanu) @xinoehp512 4. LopenTheTwoArmedHerdazian (Lopen) @LopenTheTwoArmedHerdazian 6. I think I am here (Itiah III) @I think I am here. 7. Bort (Joe Bourbon) @Bort 14. Drake Marshall (Jay) @Drake Marshall It's only been 5 hours, but these are the people we haven't heard from. I'll drop a poke vote on Itiah III. Speak now, or forever Rest in Peace. Once we have over 50% participation, or 16 hours left, whichever happens first, I'm going to pick someone I want dead and vote for them.- 305 replies

Long Game 46: A Land War in Asia

I guess enough people are reading the thread that I'll post this separately. Emphasis by MarkIV The difference here is that I voted, and Bugsy didn't. Maybe a better thing to have said was, "A 1% change in alignment read isn't making any effort to convince the village of anything."- 862 replies

Long Game 46: A Land War in Asia
Araris Valerian replied to Steeldancer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
@Hemalurgic Headshot What did I do that you found suspicious? I think I condemned Bugsy talking about a 49% village read, as opposed to making a decision and voting based on it. I, on the other hand, took my 49% village read of Bugsy and said that was enough for me to kill him. I'm not sure what is hypocritical about that. (I do concede that voting for Bugsy the first time, because he is a pirate, was hypocritical)- 862 replies

Long Game 46: A Land War in Asia
Araris Valerian replied to Steeldancer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I didn't really have time to explain my vote on Bugsy, since I made it right before I went to bed, but his post about me seemed to be hedging unnecessarily. A 1% change in alignment read isn't helping anyone out, so why even mention it? Also, @Mr Doctor, it's Day 1. We kinda have to be willing to vote for someone with minimal justification. When I said "someone must lead", I was referring to voting on somebody with the intent to kill them, rather than a poke vote (or Bugsy leading us as the first lynchee).- 862 replies
